About this property

Stargazer~Caddo Lake Cabin 1 with Kayaks! Caddo Lake Cabins, Oil City, La.

Caddo Lake Cabins are 4 "Tiny House" Cabins with a view of the mysterious Caddo Lake! There is a charcoal grill / smoker next each cabin & also next to the covered picnic pavilion, with hanging lights for nighttime enjoyment! There is an RV for rent on site as well as RV hookups. The STAR of the show is sitting outside at night watching thousands of stars twinkle & fly through the sky! It's a one of a kind experience! Enjoy Caddo Lake all day, then the star show at night!

We live 45 minutes from the cabins, we won’t be on-site but are available by phone/text should you have any questions.

Caddo Lake Cabins are 3 miles down Ferry Lake Road- it’s a very quiet- safe area right across the street from Caddo Lake.

Stargazer sleeps 4 people in 2 full-sized beds, if you need to sleep 5, we have an ottoman that converts to a twin bed or you could use the memory foam cot. Caddo Lake Cabins sits on about an acre of fenced land in a park-like setting. There’s plenty of yard for outdoor fun! It’s out in the country where there are no city lights to interfere with star gazing. Ferry Lake Road deadends into Caddo Lake. The only traffic is residents of the street.

We have an RV for rent, and RV hookups, and 4 larger cabins on Emerald Isle on Cross Lake & 4 tiny cabins on Caddo Lake, please message me if interested in others and I can send you the links!

There is a charcoal grill next to each cabin- it’s got a side smoker so if you plan to smoke meat, bring your favorite smoking pellets.

There is a Mexican Restaurant right down the road, as well as a dollar general (sells just about all essentials! …groceries, charcoal, bug spray, even beer and wine coolers!) liquor & tobacco stores. There is a Walmart about 10 miles away.

Nothing nearby except a boat ramp for miles ( half hour to big enough town to do anything).

The perfect cabin for us!

We stayed here while in town for a bass tournament on Lake Caddo. Cabin was just a few minutes from launch ramp with space to park boat. And the cabin was perfect for us! Everything was clean and neat and the small space was laid out to maximize efficiency. The two of us and all our “fishing stuff” never felt crowded or cluttered. When I had a question the owner replied very quickly and even checked in on us after arrival and checkout. Will definitely book here again next time I’m in the area.

Great for Fishermen.

We stayed in the cabins for a High School Fishing tournament on Caddo Lake. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. There is decent parking for trucks and boat trailers. A boat launch is also right across the street. These cabins are great if you are camping with a group. We would stay again. Thanks.
