Excellent Property
Perfect for a couple. The cabin had everything we needed and was close to town without feeling like you were in town. We will definitely stay again.

Great Couples Getaway
Property was very clean and pictures are accurate. There are other cabins nearby but trees and curtains on the deck help provide privacy and feelings of seclusion. The roads to this cabin are paved but the gravel driveway for the cabin needs some work. Bring your own lawn chairs and ice.

!!
The cabin was very nice, and clean. The only downside was having no ice machine in the freezer. It looked like it had been taken out. Also there was not any shampoo or soap samples, which would have been nice for a one night stay. Overall though the location and the cabin itself were gorgeous! We had a wonderful time!

Fantastic stay!
Well kept property, great location and the owner responded within minutes for the one question we had- would definitely stay here again!! Owner also sent out a link for recommendations in the area-- all that we used did not disappoint. Especially the ""Secret Waterfall"-- it took a little time and sleuthing, but definitely worth the effort!!

Great stay but needs a little TLC
Great location, cute cabin. Just a few minor things. Bedroom lamp out, bedroom fan real wobbly/noisy, only 4 towels provided, lights on patio out, fire pit chairs broken. Overall, it was a good stay.

Beautiful Comfy Home
The home and location were beautiful and easy to get to. Our disappointments: ice maker was removed and sitting in the laundry room floor, pans to cook in had rust in the bottoms, towels and wash cloths were old and minimal, all chairs at the fire pit were broken and bench was so dirty it couldn’t be sat on, outdoor grill grates were so rusted we didn’t try using it, never got the outside patio or bedroom TV’s to turn on.

Great for Honeymoon or Romantic Getaway
My new husband and I rented this luxurious cabin for our honeymoon and were not disappointed. The location is close to the main road where the restaurants and shops are for easy access but it's far enough out that it has a rural feel. There is a jacuzzi on the deck overlooking the forest and the other cabins are set far enough away so that you feel like you have privacy. There are also privacy curtins around the deck The kitchen has everything you need if you like to cook your own meals and there is a grill outside. The only thing I would give a heads up on is there is no ice maker in the fridge so bring a bag of ice to put in freezer. Then you are good to go! Would definitely rent this place again! We wee sad to leave.

Dont look any further at other cabins nor 2nd guess yourself about renting this one. "Holy Shiplap" is AMAZING!!!!! The pictures dont do justice how beautiful the cabin is. The amentities were great. All modern and updated. The bed and bedding were super comfy. I could write a book about this place. My only advice...just rent it. You wont be dissappointed! Not to mention the host, Catherine is super sweet and replies back asap to your questions or concerns. Hubby and I absolutely LOVED our stay at Holy Shiplap. Already planning future visits back.

Perfect place to unwind and recharge
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. The cabin was clean and adorable. It was at the end of a cul de sac and very private. We were able to relax in the hot tub and feel like we were in the woods with no one around. It’s right by many things to do. The host was very communicative. It was a very pleasant experience.

Fabulous getaway in the woods!
The house was beautiful and the decor was as if Joanna Gaines decorated it herself! The back deck with the hot tub was absolutely perfect. The ice maker did not work, and ice cube trays were not provided. I had to go into town to purchase a bag of ice and coffee. Coffee was not provided as advertised (the jar was empty).

Small but Spectacular
My husband and I booked this cabin for a quick one night get away. The cabin is incredibly cute and included everything we needed. Hot tub and huge walk in shower were so luxurious and relaxing. Cabin was clean and we had no issues. Hochatown is a small area with plenty of stuff to do for both adults and kids. We recommend Grateful Head Pizza for dinner.

I'm from the Rocky Mountains and married to a European. I love traveling, especially to scenic spots - and nothing beats quality time away from home with our young children. We live in Dallas and fell in love with Broken Bow the first time we visited. We return as often as we can, and love to share our property with others when we're not there.
