Amazing Location, Beautiful Home
A true ski-in/ski-out property, this is such a cool and grand house for a group trip. The kitchen is well stocked, there's tons of room to gather (together and separately) and the access to the base area is awesome. When we were there, the wifi was being pretty difficult so it's probably not the best place if you're planning on doing heavier amounts of remote work. This also could have just been a phase where Telus was being problematic.

Corporate Ski Retreat
We hosted a corporate retreat here and it was awesome! Gabriel was very responsive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Location is ideal and would definitely recommend!

Breathtaking home and views
We travel to different mountains as a group of couples each year without the our kids. This year was our first at Kicking Horse and it did not disappoint. The house was better than expected with a functional layout, plenty of space for our 4 couples, and the ski in and ski out was easy to navigate. Thanks for having us, we can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful property, great location
This place was so beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Would like to point out though, that the stair case, while beautiful, was not safe for toddlers. There is room at the edges of the steps, under the rail, for a small child to slip through. As a grandma, I was nervous about it. No incidents... just lots of held breath ;)

Gran’s 80th Birthday
Our family gathered to celebrated mom’s 80th bday. Upon arrival we were mesmerized by this stunning property, which was equipped with all possible amenities. We all enjoyed the property and surrounding area. We would not hesitate to rebook with Gabriel. Gabriel was always accessible and was a delight to deal with. Mom/Gran’s birthday was a hit…all 16 of us look forward to returning in the future.

Terrible waist of money Nice house but lacking in maintenance, pealing paint on the walls like a sleazy hotel, gas cook top has no fonctional hood, cooking utensils old and broken, heated floors system disfonctional, not hot water in showers after the 3 day, no escape window in children’s room and hard to reach the owner. All in all after 15 years of spring break trips with my family this (building) was the worst rental experience. Way overpriced for what you get!

We had a great week at this property. It is a clean, comfortable, and modern house in a good location. Kicking Horse was a great mountain and getting on and off the slopes from the house was easy. There are not a lot of dining options in KH (more in Golden) so it was great to have the very well stocked kitchen and dining room. We ate in most nights and really enjoyed the house. We would definitely come back.

Great location amazing house
We stayed in this house for a recent ski trip to Kicking Horse. The house accommodated two families extremely comfortably. It has easy access to the ski hill and is well appointed.

Great mountain stay!
From gourmet kitchen to BBQ patio to hot tub this place had it all. It was perfect for our large family group. The location is beautiful and the view from back patio was breathtaking. This place had it all!

Had stayed recently in July with my family and was very impressed. The house is clean, organized and very well thought. It’s big enough for the 14 of us and still very spacious. I would love to go back there again.

This place was fun. The spaces were great for the different age groups. The only thing we didnt anticipate was the mosquitos and some things that were a bit run down. The backyard was overgrown and there was standing water in the gutters from rain our first night so we were practically eaten alive when we used the hot tub. The place just felt a bit forgotten about. Place could use some maintenance on some things (not alot but just some random things could be fixed or repaired. But really it was fun and we enjoyed ourselves. I would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful place …. Small Things
Place was gorgeous and vast. Great for small groups or families. Plenty of spaces in the common areas. Views were amazing. Beds were comfortable. Lots of towels for the hot tub. Good kitchen supplies. My only complaints were small things …. The steam shower never worked, one of the fireplaces never worked, a faulty smoke alarm. Also there was a rain gutter that was detached. I know the weather was bad but these are things I would have thought that would have been checked out before we arrived. Also the landscaping hadn’t been taken care of like some of the other properties. Really a beautiful place and I’m sure these things are fixed now, but based on the cost, felt these things wouldn’t have happened.

Wonderful stay for my mom's 60th bday!
We had a great stay to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. The house and property was wonderful and accomodated our large family perfectly. The hot tub and steam room was awesome and the location was beautiful with lots to do in the local area. We will stay again for sure. Gabriel was a great host!

We are two avid skiers who bought our house for ski trips with family and friends and eventual retirement. To help pay the bills we rent it out when we aren't using it. We first skied at Kicking Horse in 2004 as part of our yearly ski trip with friends - that year trying out the eastern side of the Canadian Rockies. We had skied Whistler a couple of times and knew we loved Canadians. They are so nice, cheerful and friendly people. Our day at Kicking Horse was the favorite of everyone on the trip. We couldn't believe how great the snow was, how big the mountain was and how few people there were. My wife and I actually got engaged at the top of Lake Louise. She asked me to marry her and I said yes and she presented me with candy lollipop rings (we later upgraded them). Anyway, we looked at buying at the time but weren't in a financial position to do so. But in 2009 we were in a much better position and so we decided to come back to double check if everything we remembered about it was true. It was and we happened to stumble upon a great deal on this home and jumped at the opportunity. With any life changing event there is always a little voice that wonders if you are doing the right thing. That voice went away and never came back after we had to stop for a black wolf in the middle of the road between Banff and Golden. We knew this was the place for us. We decided to name the house after that black wolf we saw. We hope that you will consider experiencing our wonderful home and get as much enjoyment out of it as we do.

We love to ski and Kicking Horse has some of the best skiing in North America. We absolutely love the snow and varied terrain of Kicking Horse. And the views are to die for.
