Imagine spending a long weekend or a week in this charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath beach house with upstairs ocean view. It’s a 2 minute walk down a private path to the beach. The kitchen is fully outfitted for great cooking and dining, the living room features a gas fireplace for those cool days and nights and a 55-inch TV where you can sink into recliners and binge watch your favorites.

The bedrooms are huge and all 3 have very comfortable queen-sized beds. Plus, we have a comfortable queen size inflatable bed, if needed. We have provided a Pack 'n Play and an infant/child dining booster seat for families with young ones to make your packing that much easier.

"Work from home" in the upstairs work area with high speed wireless, dual monitors and a printer. The upstairs has an overstuffed chair and ottoman for a private reading space with an ocean view.

The large front deck is home to a 6’ pelican and fisherman carved by a local woodcarver, a gas BBQ and is perfect for sipping your morning coffee and eating BBQ for dinner. The back yard is completely fenced and secure for your bowwows!

Imagine being minutes from clamming, surfing, 18 miles of beaches perfect for walking and kite flying, surf fishing, bird watching, locally crafted beer and the best wood-fired pizza in all of Grays Harbor! Experience deep sea fishing for salmon and tuna on a charter boat out of Westport and watch the lights of the crab boats as they leave the docks at nightfall.

Beach house with everything we needed!

Our family of five, plus our dog, had a fantastic week at the Pelican House. The owners quickly answered questions and the house and Eve thing to make it feel like home. The short walk to the beach meant we spent our days exploring the shore.

Wonderful home away from home

We enjoyed our stay in every way! The home is very comfortable and clean and setup extremely well. Love all the things the kitchen has to offer - you can actually cook! The linens and towels are all fresh and in good shape, and everything around the house really works. And the location can't be beat! This was our second stay, and we look forward to the next!

Lovely, clean home for a relaxing stay

We stayed here with our two adult children and their partners (six adults total), plus our two dogs. A fenced-in back yard, plenty of extra towels, large washer & dryer, a wide variety of kitchen implements, and more. Everything we needed for a lovely relaxing get-away to reconnect with family.

Thanksgiving Clamming Weekend

Frank is a fantastic host and very communicative. He truly wants you to have an enjoyable experience at the ocean. Their place is very well appointed and ready for your adventures. We had a full house of three couples + dogs and we still didn’t trip over one another. It’s quite comfortable. We will definitely stay again. Thanks!

Perfect getaway

My family of four, and our golden retriever, stayed here for a weekend. It was perfect! Each bedroom was large and comfortable. Kitchen has everything we needed. There's a walking path to the beach, about a 10 minute walk. The beach has small sand dunes and a wide sandy area. Cars do drive on this beach, so be aware of that. There is also a small but well-equipped grocery store a short drive away in case you forgot anything.

Clean, cozy beach cottage. Close beach access.

House is exactly as stated. 2 bedrooms upstairs are oversized and worked well for adding either the blowup or pack n play. Deck off upstairs bedroom is great for sunset watching. Can see the beach from this deck. Entire house is light & bright & spotless. 6 adults, 3 littles (3, 18 mo, 2 mo.) + the pups had a great time. Beach path is right at the corner. Don’t miss the roped entrance. Great house & location. Would definitely stay again.

Grayland family trip

Really enjoyed this spot for a summer, family get-together. It was clean, bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, kitchen had everything we needed for family meals, and our dogs could be there with us. Loved that the beach was within walking distance and boat lauch was a short drive away. Host was very easy to get ahold of and check in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

Perfectly Perfect Pelican House

Great location for getting to the beach. Loved the fenced yard for kids and pet. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. Enough bedrooms for kids to have their own space. Laundry on the 2nd floor was a win! Comfortable for relaxing on rainy/cloudy days.

Perfect gathering place

We had our sibling reunion at this home which was a short walk from beach. The 3 bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable with a sunset view from master bedroom. Kitchen well equipped and bathrooms updated & stocked with lots of towels. Washer/dryer and gas fireplace were a nice plus. The four of us loved this home!

Quick coastal getaway

My in-laws were visiting from the mid-west and wanted to go to the ocean. This was a perfect getaway for all of us. Quick access to the beach, scenic drives down the coast, watching crabbers in Tokeland, and a leisurely afternoon on the pier at Westport. Plus, as other reviewers have noted, the fully fenced yard was great for our dog. The neighborhood was quiet and check-in and -out were incredibly easy. As someone who likes to cook, the kitchen was well-equipped (and I'm a sucker for a waffle iron on vacation).

We are professional people who travel widely and always stay in vacation rentals, no matter where we are in the world. We have two grown children, three grandchildren and enjoy our time here with them immensely.

We have always loved Grayland Beach and wanted to have a vacation home at a beach that was not touristy. We love watching our dogs run and play on the beach.

What makes this property unique

Quiet, peaceful but with the full power of the Pacific near us. As I write this the moon is full, the ocean is roaring, people are on the beach digging clams and the world is good!
