Spacious ranch style home with finished basement. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Finished basement has one full bedroom, a full bathroom, family room and kitchenette. Our home is perfect for families, business travelers or singles. Albion College minutes away. University Michigan and Michigan State less than 1 hour drive. Casino 20 minutes and Detroit Metro Airport 1hr 30 minutes. Central A/C, 4 Roku TV's (Queen BR's, LR & Basement. Enclosed attached heated porch, plenty off street parking, Enjoy walks around the park located directly across the street or set back and relax. Beautiful open park and playground across the street. 2 million park updates are underway. The new park splash pad has been completed. Park improvements will include new playground equipment, new and additional lighting, restrooms and walking path. Serenity Living has security audio/video cameras located on the outside of property.

Great place to stay!!

We had a great stay! The house was clean, and comfortable perfect for our needs! Check in/ out process was smooth, and easy. This place was a real gem to find!! Hosts Sandra, and Charles were wonderful, and thoughtful. We will definitely stay again!!

Great House

This was a very nice home to rent for a family. Bedrooms were nice, kitchen/living area comfortable and basement great! The neighborhood was well maintained and the park across the street was nice. I would rent it again.

Everything was as described. Very clean and spacious living spaces with a huge park across the street. Loved that the basement was fully furnished with its own bedroom, kitchen and TV area. Would definitely stay again.

This is where you want to be, a place to relax, or if you are on a business trip, this place has everything you need! Sandra is an excellent host. She responds immediately to any questions you may have. She is an excellent host. You cannot go wrong staying here!

Good for family

We felt at home immediately when we arrived. The whole home was comfortable from living room furniture to beds. Everything was clean, which is a big deal for us. The neighborhood was quiet. Although it was a winter stay we could see how nice it would be in summer with a large back yard and plenty of wood for an evening fire. We would stay again.

House was clean and tidy. Property owner was in constant communication ensuring we had all we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back anytime we’re in Central Michigan. Recommend for families or even couples as it was very affordable for all that came with if. Two thumbs up!

Charles and I were both born and raised in Albion. We spent years away raising our children, many years in the military, traveling and enjoying the fruits of our labor. We enjoy returning here to relax and spending time with family and friends. It's normal in the neighborhood for those passing by to "wave". Our greatest joy is spending time with our grandchildren. We also love taking on home improvement challenges. We are not pros by any means, but we enjoy learning as we go. This home has had one owner, my parents and us. My family has hosted many over the years including many fostered children. I know my parents are proud the tradition continues! If your looking for a place that welcoming, be our guest!

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is a quiet, safe residential area. Outside space with large open back yard. Large open park located directly across the street. Park has play ground equipment, shelter and grill. Great area to walk your pet.
Garage use is not available and not included in reservations.

What makes this property unique

You will have the entire home to yourself. Our home has some smart futures. Smart lights are in the kitchen, dining area, hallway, top of basement stairs. Smart lights are also in the basement kitchen, bathroom vanity lights. Nest Wi-Fi thermostat is located in the hallway. You can adjust the temperature or we can adjust it remotely. Second bathroom and forth bedroom with double/full bed are located in the basement. Please make sure to turn off all basement lights. Lower bathroom light and exhaust fan are on a timer. The basement refrigerator may contains host foods. If you use something, please let us know so we can replace it. Light at the bottom of stairs and in laundry are motion activated and controlled by the switch upstairs. Children and pets not allowed in basement unattended.
***Dogs are not allowed on beds, furniture or in basement unattended, no bathing animals. Pets should be attended to at ALL times. Leashes are strongly recommended. There are neighboring pets and animals. Please do not allow your pet to roam freely outside***
