Wild West Layover is the perfect home for a small family getaway. Located at Last Chance in a beautiful community, this cabin offers a spacious kitchen, open living room, 3- bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Be sure to get outdoors and explore the surrounding area as well. There are great areas to walk to right from the cabin. Enjoy hiking, river fishing, and restaurants close to the cabin. Only a short 35-minute, beautiful and scenic drive will get you to the Yellowstone National Park West Entrance.
The Space
On the ground level, of this 2 level home, you will enter into a mudroom, where you can off load your boots and coats. After the mudroom, you will enter into the kitchen and will have a bathroom to your left hand-side. With the kitchen, you get a spacious living room attached. In the living room, you can find two couches, a coffee table, a smart TV, and the dining table. On the left of the living room, there is the first area with beds. This sleeping area will have one bunk bed that consists of a full bed on the bottom and a twin bed on the top.
On to the upstairs, you find another set of twin bunk beds and a queen bed at the top of the stairs. There is also a small table for the little ones to color at. This room also contains the washer and dryer. Past this room, you will have the main bedroom. The very spacious master bedroom has a king bed, a large desk perfect for working remotely, a couch, a futon, and a connected bathroom.
Guest Access
The home is located about 3 minutes from the highway. Guests will need their own vehicle as public transportation and ride share services are not available
Amenities include a complete kitchen, Keurig Duo coffee maker, basic kitchen utensils, dishware, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, smart TVs, fans, board games, pack and play, high chair, heat, free WiFi and garbage haul off.
There is no A/C.
Island park is the perfect place for your next family vacation or group retreat. Within minutes from your cabin you will have access to frisbee golf, kayaking, floating the river, live theater, local restaurants and wildlife. Feel free to reach out to us for more information about local activities.
The cabin is very conveniently located with easy access to ATV and snowmobile trails. If your group is interested in exploring some of the many beautiful trails in the area, we partner with several local rental companies and some of them can deliver the machines directly to your rental cabin.
Yellowstone National Park is a must-see during an Island Park getaway. There are countless sights to see, an abundance of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Some of our favorite things to see in the park are Artist Point, Tower Falls, and Grand Prismatic Spring. Hayden Valley and Lamar Valley are also amazing stops to see wildlife on a day trip through the park.
For those who also want to visit Grand Teton National Park, it is a two and a half hour scenic drive from the West Entrance of Yellowstone through the South Entrance into Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Guests will need their own transportation in order to get to the cabin, stores, restaurants, and Yellowstone National Park as there are no public transportation or ride share services available in the area.
