Timber Ridge Lodge is a spectacular million dollar home located on Powder Ridge in Sunday River that features 3 King bedrooms, a beautiful stone fireplace, VIP Parking at Sunday River, wireless high speed internet, a gourmet kitchen and an outdoor 6-man hot tub, a Private Home Theatre complete with tiered seating for sports events or movie watching. There is a regulation size professional “Olhausen” pool table and a private video game area. There are board games, magazine and books.

The entire house and property is yours to use.

Ski house
A great time with family, beautiful views from the deck and hot tub, plenty of space to put your feet up and relax and some fun amenities like the theater and game room to pass the time off the slopes. Close enough to the mountain ~10min to Southridge. A handful of maintenance items around but to be expected in a rental, would certainly stay again.

We had a great time. Pictures of home on VRBO were when house was first built. House needs some TLC. A lot of bulbs needed replaced, jetted tub in master bath didn't work, coffee maker didn't work, billiard table only had 1 pool cue that wasn't broken. Dust webs on dinning room light. Cleaning service not up to par, also left envelope for tips THAT WAS A FIRST. we have rented 5 other homes and never had anyone asked for a tip.

Great mountain stay
Susan- Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. This was the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy some family time. I would have rated this 5 star in every category if some of the outdoor photos were updated. The trees and brush have grown overtime. We had a great stay.

Had a wonderful long weekend with family!
I rented Timber Ridge to celebrate my 50th birthday with family. We stayed at the house for the long weekend with no need to venture out. It afforded all the amenities that were needed and offered a wonderful setting to spend time together with enough space to spread out. Would definitely rent again!

The house was beautiful and accommodated our group of 14 perfectly. The views from the hot tub were amazing. We had a couple things come up and Susan responded immediately. It's a beautiful home!!

Great for our Family Vacation!
We loved staying with our family of 6 at Timber Ridge. There were a few challenges when we first checked in, but the Property Owners were responsive and resolved the issues quickly. Plenty of space for all of us with tons to spare - the kitchen was great and well appointed. We also really enjoyed using the pool, the hot tub and the theater room. We will be back!!

Lovely house for a large group or family. Great location.
We stayed at Timber Ridge for a 3 night ski trip with our extended adult family to Sunday River. The house is lovely. Great for large groups and a very easy drive to the Sunday River ski resort. The master is beautiful as are 3 of the other bedrooms. The 5th bedroom with 4 single beds is fine for kids but wouldn't recommend for adults . The living/dining area upstairs is very large and inviting. The open kitchen plan is great too and loved the heated floors throughout! The owners, Susan and Arthur Murphy were very responsive to an issue we had.

Very nice property.. Very tranquil setting for a relaxing getaway.
Susan was very accommodating with letting us check in early on Sunday. Watching the game and a fire in the fireplace started our getaway off right!! Perfect 4 days. Didn't leave the property for 3 days. Very relaxing. Thanks Susan looking forward to our next visit.

Great home base for a wedding weekend!
Nice home base for our family who were attending a wedding in Bethel. Kitchen and dining area were big enough for a group to gather for meals. The foliage and views were amazing, too cold for swimming but we enjoyed the hot tub!

This home was more than 5 STAR !!
After a long rainy drive at night, we arrived at the Log House to find the lights on welcoming us, the heat on perfectly toasty, and a gift basket of treats we relished. This place is gorgeous! When we woke up the next morning to the most amazing views of foliage and Sunday River - I felt as if we were in a movie ! Windows everywhere capture wildlife, sunrise, sunset and everything inbetween. From the fabulous master suite, to the other levels / everything was immaculate. Fluffy, fresh towels, tv in every beautiful bedroom for comfy late viewing / and the incredible living room, dining room and open kitchen were more than enough space for our group of 10. If you need privacy, you can have it. In our case, were there with family, so it was a joy to be able to stay there and enjoy all of our time together. Movie theatre! Deck ! Unfortunately, it was too cold for a dip in the pool but we will be back in warm weather, that’s for sure! The Murphys could not do enough for us. From giving us directions, to calling after arrival to ensure that we were happy - Happy? I’d say ecstatic is more like it! This house could be just as wonderful for a romantic get away / utilizing just the first floor master suite... Msybe a group/work trip, or, in our case, a family reunion. Better than its photos, better than any description- the Log House is Heaven.

BEAUTIFUL HOME
I loved my stay here for so many reasons! First and foremost, I couldn’t get enough of the view of the foliage filled mountain (Mahoosic Mtns) We also loved the home theatre, especially for kickoff time! We loved the gourmet kitchen that had all the staples here for us and enough seating fir a large crowd without feeling squished. Plenty of room in this house! The owners were quick to respond when I had a question and were very nice. The heated pool was spotless and inviting, as was the jacuzzi. There were plenty of linens, paper products, cleaning products, firewood.....I cant say enough. This was so much better than staying at a hotel!! If you get the the chance to stay here during peak foliage, do so!!!

The deck was rotted out in numerous places, lack of banisters inside/outside, childproof gates didn’t fit the opening, view of mountain from pool totally nonexistent, gas stove vents into house ( terrible fumes), 40% of lightbulbs burned out in the house, feared for my grandchildren’s safety on deck, son-in-law’s foot went through deck causing minor cuts, other complaints too numerous to mention!!

A gorgeous mountain get away with stunning views.
This was a gorgeous house with stunning scenic views and a plethora of amenities! The movie room was amazing. The hot tub and pool were so relaxing. The proximity to ATV’ing and kayaking was perfect. The house was clean and stocked with everything you could need away from home. A gem of a property, we loved our stay.

Good and bad
We were a bit disappointed in the property and felt the photos and description did not accurately reflect the current state of the house...and, for what we paid, we expected more. With that said, there were some very positive things about the house. The good: - The owners were easy to communicate with and helpful - The main living space (kitchen / dining / living room) was comfortable and accommodated all of us quite well - The home theater, hot tub, and pool were a hit - The location was very private / secluded The not-as-good: - The deck is a safety hazard...nails popping up everywhere, loose boards, rot, mouse poop - The grounds need work...the patio leading to the pool was covered in weeds and the pool area was overgrown; there were random a/c units around - There were no screens in any of the windows and it was HOT our first night...many of us (in the un-air conditioned rooms) did not sleep well...we then spent the first morning of our vacation looking for and installing screens - The first thing you see when you arrive is a broken playscape...it just set the wrong tone...also many broken video / pinball games inside the house - Lots of broken chairs out by the pool area - again, could be a safety hazard All in all, it just looks like there hasn't been any maintenance done on the house in years...I wish we found this place 4-5 years ago...I bet it was stunning!

Nice place
The family and I rented in June . I have to say the house was very big and clean and the owners very nice . But for renting only to 30 and above in age . You would expect certain things. For one the gas grill worked once you added a flame to it . The movie theater projector was broke and didn't see a new projector show up until are last day .The lights in the kitchen some were broke along with the pool sticks . Very nice bar but frig wasn't hooked up. Next to the front door wasn't sure if old or new ac until left . Also in the back to the pool the old heater left off to the side. The grounds need to be kept up with. The pictures for the house did have the views like 4 or 5 years ago. The trees near pool don't show the view that much anymore and pool needs to have tiles replaced. and the decks need some TLC. Sorry but for the price you think it would have been better. But would definitely negotiate the price . After finale payment is made you get two pages of don't list . What I think they should have is a check list for the handyman who looks over the property and make sure things are up and running and looking the way they should.

Beautiful Property & Location
My group of 12 had a wonderful get away weekend at this beautiful log home! The owners were extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any question or concern. Unfortunately we were unable to get WiFi and the heated pool up and running, yet we were glued to the hot tub for this time of year anyway. We are already discussing next year's trip and will be in touch with Susan and Arthur when the time comes!

Wonderful!
Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful house. We loved that it was at the end of the road with an easy turn around. Hot tub was perfectly located and super fun. Also, loved the home theater. Kitchen was great to cook in and the master bathroom was incredible. Downstairs room and play area was perfect for teenagers. Great location and a just a beautiful home. We would DEFINTELY stay here again! Thank you Murphy's for taking such good care of us.
