If you love hiking, playing in the river, fishing, kyaking or canoeing, relaxing on the bank and of the river and ending the day in the swim spa then LOOK NO FURTHER! THIS IS THE BEST! Owner/builder designed every detail personally for your enjoyment and comfort. 3 king and 4 twin beds are chiropractic Restonic, superbly comfortable with 400 thread count linens. All bedrooms have satellite TV with HBO and Showtime. All wood floors. Panoramic views of the mountains and river. Spectacular dining and entertainment area. A riverfront deck with gas fire pit, summer kitchen and gas grill cantelevers over the little Tennessee river. On the property is a half mile hiking trail up the front hill. Two horse stalls available, bring your own horses or rent them for the week, nearby. Experienced equestrians only. A pickle ball court will be finished by April 2025

WARNING: This property is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years, and to those children who do not swim. The summer kitchen cantilevers over the moving river which has exposed rocks- which could cause instant death if a child fell off.

Thanksgiving 2024

Our family of 10 enjoyed the house and property. Our active grandchildren had plenty of space to expend their energy. We used the house to reconnect with friends in the area, ride the Polar Express, participate in the Local Turkey Trot and a delicious turkey dinner from the Chop House. What a treat!

It was such a treat to stay at this property. The home was well stocked and was a delightful place to unwind for the week. Our children (12 and 14) enjoyed tubing, playing in the river, and fishing. The outdoor kitchen space was wonderful for parents and the grandparents to watch the kiddos play and chat. We loved the property, location, and the proximity to many day trips! Can’t wait to return next summer!

Decent experience

We stayed at the cabin next door last year and were enticed to come try this one after the seeing the outdoor lounge and cooking area right over the water. The inside of the house was very clean and beautiful. Check the wall to the right as you come in if you want the wifi password. The email sent to us said it was on the back of the wifi box. After a lot of searching, we found it on the wall to the right as you come in the door. Pros: 1. Fully stocked with everything you need(linens, hand-soap, toilet paper, spices, batteries, lightbulbs,etc.) 2. Very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with the best sleeping beds we have ever had away from home. 3. Top of the line tvs and appliances. 4. Comfortable furniture Cons: 1. The outside deck/ kitchen area was over grown and boards had holes in them. 2. The grass and plant area were so overgrown that we could not enjoy playing outdoors with our kids. There were weeds taller than the bushes at the porch area. It felt like we were in a jungle. 3. Remotes were not in correct rooms and when we figured out where they went, many of the tvs still did not work properly. 4. We could not use the downstairs bathroom when we were cooking out because it was locked the entire time.

Amazing place and property

We had an amazing stay. The property was gorgeous, the house was amazing and provided everything we needed. Everything exceeded our expectation. The kitchen was perfect, bedrooms were comfortable, price range was great. Our party was (2) four person families and never felt cramped. You definitely will not be disappointed.

Almost Heaven

This property felt like home away from home. We needed this family retreat and it was perfect. Plenty to keep everyone entertained with games, outdoor activities, and space for 9 ranging in age from 11 to 45. Mom, Dad, our adult children amd their significant others, plus our youngest at 11 each enjoyed or laughed at all aspects of our stay. The setting was secluded and we were able to explore, cast a line, relax, etc....Yet we were within minutes of shopping, antiquing, and convenience. For the mom that has adult children leaving the nest to start their own, this was perfect. The only complaint, which really doesnt effect the rental property; the heat timers. While completly understandable while vacant, the adjusting wasnt simple. We chalked it up to operator error. We stayed the week prior to the "once in a generation" winter storm. To add, we are from Florida. Small suggestion, turn the heat up so its not 59 degrees upon arrival during December. No worries there were plenty of blankets. We stayed on site most of our 6 day stay. Thank you so much for the hospitality. We look forward to booking for the summer. ❤️

Exceeded Expectations

Pictures do not do this home justice. This was everything we dreamed of and more. The home was easily able to accommodate 2 families (8 people) and we never felt overcrowded. The owner has thought of everything. The large living room table was perfect for family breakfasts and dinners and the kitchen has everything needed to facilitate the preparation of meals. This was our 5th vacation to Franklin and by far our best stay. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home. I also want to point out that some of the other reviews mentioned the home was not cleaned properly and that was a concern going in but upon arrival the home was spotless.

The house is beautiful, the only thing I didn’t like was that you don’t have a house ready for winter, heater didn’t work we didn’t have water until 2 pm every day, because it froze, I know you did everything you could to fix it but I think you should make sure you have all the equipment you need for this kind of “emergencies”

Holiday Home

Home and property excellent space and location for our Thanksgiving family gathering . Yard space was ideal for the kids planning soccer, football and driving a few golf balls. Hiking trials out the front and river running through the back. Loved outdoor kitchen and fire pit. Enjoyed the historic down of Franklin, easy access to grocery. Wonderful girls trip.

What a wonderful, private place!

We were looking for something private with no other people around, and this was it! We absolutely loved the property and the house. The back yard is the place to be, with the outdoor grill, bar, firepit, and river. House is super clean, everything is in working order, and very well supplied. Good Times, vacation

Very good property very good time for all of us. No problems with anything except getting rid of the trash at the end of the stay. We had to look everywhere to find someone to allow us to Put the bags in their cans. I think he used a gas station in South Carolina.
