Looking for a great summer vacation? This charming beach house is located on shady lot and quiet street in Ocean Lakes. Queen bed in master bedroom, twin in second bedroom, queen size and 2 single sleeper sofas in living area allow you to sleep 7! Sheets and linens included. Well equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, blender, etc. Tub/shower in bath. Large family room with TV/DVD/VCR and stereo system. House has covered front deck with ceiling fan and breakfast table. Additional outside dining on shaded side deck with picnic table. Parking available for 2 cars plus golf car.
NEW (2019) central heat and air. Freshly painted interior and exterior. Carpets professionally cleaned. House is professionally cleaned between each rent cycle.

Ocean Lakes is everything you could ask for in a family vacation. It has almost a mile of beach and is a gated community/resort with all the amenities you will need. The brand new water park features amenities that you would find at local water parks…but is FREE to Ocean Lakes guests. The park includes tall Mat Racer slide, Tube Slide, Lazy River and Pirate Themed kids splash zone. The recreation area also has an Olympic-size outdoor pool, an indoor heated pool, a snack shop that serves fast food and ice cream, shaded picnic areas, and lots of room for sunbathing. Putt putt golf course adjoins water park area.

Next to the pool is a huge recreation building where you will find scheduled activities for young and old alike (bingo, ceramics, arts and crafts, ping pong tables, etc). Local entertainment (magicians, gospel singing, Luau shows) are scheduled often through the year. Ocean Lakes also sponsors many entertainment and specialty events throughout the year. Check their website for calendar for schedule. Here you can also get discount coupons for golf and many of the local attractions. In this area also is the new arcade with over 80 games. There is a grocery store and a gift shop for your everyday needs. Security is 24/7 and is strictly enforced.
Ocean front recreation areas include large playground structures, shuffle board, basketball courts, bocce ball, horse shoes and volleyball. Check with the rec center regarding check out materials for these sports. Skateboard park is located under the large gazebo tower.

There is a beach front non-denominational worship service every Sunday morning provided by Ocean Lakes Campground.

We had a great stay the pros were the outdoor seating. The cons were the hot water did not last long and having to bring my own sheets b/c of no washing machine.

The house was very comfortable and clean. Everyone enjoyed their time there and it’s very close to the main entrance making it easy to get in and out of the campground. Just make sure to get a golf cart and you’re all set.

Weekend Getaway

This was a great little cottage for our weekend getaway. We love staying on the Ocean Lakes campground. This is the first time we have rented a cottage. This did not disappoint. It was a cute little spot, very clean and slept my family well. The owners were easy to get ahold of with any questions and quickly responded. I recommend for any small family!

Army leave vacation car show

I gave all areas 4 stars only because there is always room for improvement. My nephew got to come in on leave from the US Army so we decided to spend our family time together here. We got extra lucky and was able to be there for run to the sun car show! This home was perfect for our stay. It’s small yet very comfortable and efficient. During our stay the pollen was extremely bad which the owners cannot help so if you have allergies come prepared during your stay. The hot water runs out very quickly other than that this place is near perfect! The host are super friendly and respond quickly and will go out of their way to make your stay worthwhile! Home came with extras, like fans, which made things even better if you have to have a fan on to sleep! I was not crazy about having to send information about everyone in my family that attended but I understand from their point of view why it was asked for. This home could also use a washer and dryer so you don’t have to go to the laundry mat but not that big of a deal. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! Would definitely stay here again!

We purchased the beach house as a vacation home for our family and children and also for our retirement. Since the purchase we have made many changes to the beach house including renovations and additions to the interior, construction of a wrap around covered front porch, side deck and added central heat and air. We have had many great vacations in this house with our children, grandchildren and other family members. We hope you will enjoy our beach house with your family as much as we have.

Why they chose this property

We chose Ocean Lakes to purchase our vacation home because of the many amenities and family centered activities that are offered here. Safety and security are priority to the staff at Ocean Lakes and we always felt secure in letting our older children venture out on their own inside the campground. They were always entertained and content with all of the activities, camp store, snack bar, pools and arcade that are offered here. We always enjoy our yard and the outdoor living at our beach house.
