About this property

Wine Country Tiny House Located at a Farmhouse Brewery

Prydwen is a modern guest house located on the grounds of Dragon's Gate Brewery & Farm. Dragon’s Gate Brewery specializes in Belgian Farmhouse Ales and is home to Friesian & Warlander horses.

Prydwen is named after King Arthur's shield and the lore of King Arthur can be found throughout the guest house. While the size of Prydwen is cozy, the large windows and natural wood interior lend to a warm and inviting setting.

Prydwen has its own private seating area where you can relax and enjoy the views of the farm, the Blue Mountains, and surrounding vineyards and orchards.

For the beer lover, Prydwen is just steps away from our brewery and tasting room. As we are only open a few days a week, arrangements can be made for growler fills to enjoy upon check-in. Dragon’s Gate Farm is centrally located in the Walla Walla Valley which provides a good starting point to explore the numerous wineries located in Oregon and Washington.

Prydwen has a private bedroom with a walk-around queen-size pillow-top bed with premium cotton sheets, pillows, and a down comforter. The bedroom has blackout shades and a fan to ensure you get the most restful night's sleep. There is a 36” inch smart television for viewing all of your favorite streaming options. High-speed WI-FI internet is available for your media options and cell phone service is good.

Prydwen is equipped with a kitchenette for light cooking. It’s great for cooking eggs, enjoying coffee in the morning, chopping up veggies for a salad, or heating up a pot of soup or spaghetti. A two-burner induction cooktop comes with pots, fry pans, and utensils. There is a microwave oven, toaster, and a small refrigerator/freezer. The pantry is equipped with a basic complement of herbs and spices, sugar, and oil. An electric kettle and a Keurig coffee maker are available with complimentary coffee pods and tea.
Prydwen has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a real toilet. Plush bathroom towels, hand towels, and washcloths are provided for a two-night stay. “Beekman 1802” shampoo, conditioner, and soap are provided for a refreshing shower.

Prydwen is a guest house and has a maximum occupancy of two people. While we love animals, pets (of any kind) are not allowed at Prydwen. This is for the safety of our farm animals and any future guests with allergies.
The brewery is open on the weekends until 7 pm-ish. Some weekends may be later due to fun events we schedule.

Great escape

Rural farm setting adds to the ambiance of Prydwen, the peace and quiet transports you away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Adam and Jennifer are the best hosts anywhere we have stayed, Jennifer keeps the tiny home in immaculate condition. The walk around the grounds is especially tranquil, the Friesen horses love to have their necks scratched among all the other animals on the farm. Dragons Gate Brewery is a must stop if you are ever in the Walla Walla area. Great range of beers and ciders to please every pallette. The food truck adds to the enjoyment of a night out.I am so glad I found this gem, we will definitely return!Thank you so much for your hospitality Jennifer and Adam!

Magical getaway for beer lovers

Fabulous location for a beer-lover's getaway. Such a peaceful location and the actual tiny house was immaculate inside. Jennifer is an awesome host. The private beer tasting on a day that the brewery was closed to the public was incredibly generous and highly appreciated. Everything about the stay was magical!

Excellent!

We loved our stay. Even though temps were near 100ºF, the tiny home stayed nice and cool. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming, offering a free beer at the brewery on arrival. Inside our tiny home, she had left more beverages and plenty of snacks, a lovely bonus! We had a great time and would certainly return.

Absolutely Amazing Gem

This property was everything we could have asked for! It was extremely well equiped for a tinyhome (pots, pans, utensils, firewood, soaps, coffee, snacks, etc). The panelling makes the whole place smell like fresh wood, and both the interior and exterior is immaculately clean. The location is about 10ish minutes from Milton Freewater, and is tucked into a charming rural countryside area. The property is a brewery with a midieval theme, which is also immaculately maintained with lovely lawns and picnic tables. I cannot say enough about how lovely the owners are. Responsive, friendly, respectful, caring, and welcoming all around. Jennifer was so fun to chat with and took the time to show us around her gorgeous little farm. I loved meeting the beautiful Fresian horses and learning all their names and personalities. I love everything about it! I wish I could award it a million stars!

Fantastic Find!

The hostess, Jennifer is kind, responsive, and accomidating. The tiny home is cozy and comfy and not cramped at all. Very well equipped for a perfect stay. The home is efficiently designed with lots of thoughtful storage. The property was SPOTLESS. Even high traffic/touch areas were fresh and clean. The property is peaceful and comfy inside and out. Lots to enjoy on site and plenty of private outdoor space. The fire pit was a great amenity!! Tasty brews and pretty views too. 100% recommend!!

Amazing place to stay

The tiny house was way more than expected. But even better than that the hosts and the grounds were amazing. Access to wineries was super easy and having the brewery right there. It was so much fun. Lots going on great location. Great place to stay. Better than the hotel that we stayed in after that.

Great time at Dragonsgate!

We had a great time at this property and our host were fantastic and had a great time chatting with them. When we arrived we spent time at the brewery enjoying a a few beers and snacks from the on-site food truck. The tiny house was awesome, everything we needed for a great stay. Comfortable bed/pillows, air conditioning, stove, tv, wifi, coffee, snacks/drinks and much more. It has a great private patio space with seating and firepit. Highly recommended the Dragonsgate Tiny House!

Cheers!

What a fun property to stay at. First...the home has everything you need in a tiny home. We were amazed at the storage areas we had to put our 'stuff' away to keep things neat & tidy in a small space. It was so fun having a different food truck and great brews both nights. The outdoor space was inviting, comfortable & perfect for friends to come by - loved it! Will definitely recommend this property to friends

Amazing

We had such a wonderful stay at the tiny house. Jennifer and Adam were so welcoming when we arrived, and were available whenever we needed anything. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and we loved going for walks and sitting outside to enjoy the stillness. The tiny house had all the comforts of home, and we were impressed at how well the space was used because we had plenty of room for all of our things and were still comfortable. This place truly is a gem. The property was so beautiful that we were tempted to just stay there instead of going into Walla Walla for wine tasting! But it's an easy 15 minute drive into the Walla Walla area, so it's an ideal way to have quick access to vineyards and tasting rooms while also enjoying a tranquil space of your own. We will definitely return!

Hidden Gem

We hesitate to give as great a review as they deserve in that we know it is going to be impossible to find an open date for our next trip back. Truthfully if your looking for a great stay in the heart of 150 vineyards and a wonderful brewery to boot - look no farther. Jennifer and Adam have created an oasis that is private yet communal. The weekend we spent there they were hosting a celtic games practice and had a food truck with great smoked meals. So were able to enjoy the festivities and yet step in to our wonderful tiny home for an undisturbed recluse. Nearby Walla Walla offers the best that you expect from those now overpriced wine valleys of California without the pretentious attitudes. So if your reading this - book Prydwen Tiny House NOW! Once word gets out you'll kick yourself that you didn't
