Lake Retreat

Newly remodeled four bedroom two bathrooms just steps away from Moors Resort and Marina. This home has a gentle sloped yard to the shared boat dock with private slip that allows direct lake access in the summer. There is a large deck looking out towards Buckhorn Bay with two eating areas there is also another eating area under the deck with access to the basement. The main level houses all four bedrooms and both bathrooms. The kitchen has recently been remodeled and is equipped for all your cooking needs. The basement is the perfect hang out for kids with two pull out couches, DVD player, and Wii gaming Console. The basement also houses a full-size washer and dryer. The Lake Retreat also offers a four and six seater golf cart to rent at an additional charge.

Family get together

Great house. Everything was just like the post said. The golf carts were great. The Moors Resort and Marina is a few blocks away. Good restaurant. A nice play ground and beach area. The host was very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions right away

We had a great time staying in this house! Our family ranged in age from 15-77 and everyone thought it was a great place. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. Definitely will stay here again.

Everyone in our group enjoyed the place. Convenient access to the lake and Moor’s resort. Enjoyed all the space the house provide inside and out. Would definitely stay there again if we come down to the lake

Great location at Kentucky Lake

This property was perfect for us as we had family and friends staying at The Moors resort. We were a short walk from Ralph's restaurant. Great deck and patio furniture. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean and confortable bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again for our family trip.

More than we expected!

This VRBO went up and beyond to provide guests with items such as towels, paper goods, games, pillows, etc. It was spacious, clean and in a great area. The outdoor areas (decks, porches, fire pit) were perfect.The golf carts are a must! We loved puttering around in them. I recommend this VRBO for anyone considering a vacay at KY Lake.

Family Fishing Trip

Loved everything about this property except the mattresses on the queen beds. Everything else on this property is top notch. I would definitely rent this property again, but I would bring a good air mattress. The location is great. We even had great weather, most of the time.

Girls Crafting Weekend 2023

Beautiful home in a nice location, very well stocked with anything you might need. Plenty of towels & kitchen linen and kitchen had every utensil, pot, pan, dish you might need. One thing you might need to know is that it is not handicapped accessible and to reach both bathrooms you to go up 2 stairs. But if that’s not an issue for your group, I would highly recommend. All questions were answered in a very timely manner.

Lake visit with dad

We had a great time visiting with family. There were 7 of us in our party and we had as many people come by during our stay. The house more than accommodated everyone. The weather was so nice we spent a majority of our time out on the porch, but when it cooled off at night it was wonderful to snuggle up in the living room and watch a movie. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is beautiful, clean, and a great view of the bay. It is well supplied with anything you might need, especially the kitchen and outside grills. The only suggestion I had from a family member was to put a wall mirror in all guest rooms. Other than that, it was perfect.

Great getaway house

The house was spacious, very clean and a great location. Kitchen was very well stocked along with the linen closets. Patio was large and had a view of the lake. Having access to a dock was very nice too.

Guys Fishing Trip

Some friends of mine and I stayed here for our annual fishing trip. The accommodations were perfect for our needs. The home had plenty of beds and leisure space and the kitchen was well appointed. There was plenty of parking and electric hook ups outside for our boats, and the location (only 4 doors down from the Moors boat ramp) was very convenient. There was a traeger and a black stone for outside cooking. These were fine, but if you want a standard grill, you should bring your own. Overall, the stay was very good and we hope to book there again next year.

Beautiful and spotless

This was our second year staying here and just like the first year it was fantastic. Spotless clean and well accomodated. Nice easy slope to the dock and lake and easy access into the house and onto the deck for my elderly parents. The 1 min walk to Moors marina, gift shop and restaurant make it perfectly situated for family fun. Katie is quick to respond to any questions and the check in and check out processes are clear and simple. Would highly recommend for a big family or group of friends because the big beautiful deck and lower patio make it perfect. Would also be a great getaway for just a few friends or a couple looking for a getaway. We are already planning next year's visit!

Great getaway

We spent a long weekend with our kids and their significant others.(7 adults). The house has great gathering spaces with the decks, living room, basement, fire pit and the water access for us to enjoy our time together. It had everything we needed to cook, only had to bring groceries. It was a very pleasant stay.

Perfect location with lots of space!

We enjoyed a weekend getaway with family and friends! The layout of the home is open and gives everyone plenty of space. We were within walking distance of the local restaurant that had a band playing Saturday night and enjoyed great food and entertainment! Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Outside deck was beautiful, and we loved spending time with the nice weather. Super clean and comfy beds as well! It’s a must-stay!
