About this property

The cottage is less than 1/4 mile from dune buggy entrance.

There is a beautiful view of Silver Lake and the dunes from the cottage. Right across the street is the public access where you can moor your boat and swim. At the end of the road, you can climb the dunes and walk to Lake Michigan. We ask that our guests bring their own sheets and towels. We have a picnic table and fire pit in the yard. Inside we have basic cable, coffee pot, microwave and dishes, pots, pans and silverware. Parking is limited, so if you have big trailers, please message us to see if you will fit. We also have air conditioning and WiFi.

Worth it

It’s a 1/4 mile from dune entrance with a view of the lake and dunes. The house was below my standards but ok. Furniture was worn out and uncomfortable. Beds were decent was a plus. Water tasted bad and sewer smell coming from the shower pretty bad. I took a shower, but my wife wouldn’t. Heater worked, but super loud so you couldn’t leave it on. For the price I would stay there again to be close to the dunes.

Cute, clean, nice view

Cottage was exactly how described. Went in late September. Located in a quieter area yet was able to watch all the side by sides and jeeps go by on their way to or from the riding area which was fun to see! Quiet in the morning and there was virtually no noise after 8pm.

We liked the location since you could see who was going to the dunes and who was coming back.

Great Location and Great Cottage

This cottage was the perfect spot for us to stay while enjoying Labor Day weekend in the dunes. We were able to park our trailers and just drive our dune ready vehicles in from there. The owners were easy to work with and answered the questions I had. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Perfect Little Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage, great memories with my (2) 7 yr old grandsons. We had a wonderful trip to West Michigan. I would recommend this cottage.

Last minute decision

We decided to go last minute (about 2 weeks ahead) and the price was good and nothing anywhere near this place was open to rent. Good place to stay super easy check in.

Quick Getaway!

We only stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect for what we needed. Great views of the lake and the sand dunes! Lots of traffic going through- but was fun to see all the vehicles/Jeep’s/ATVs going through.

Loved the view!

Love that we could see the lake and the dunes from our front window! A short walk to the dunes for hiking. Big fire pit in front yard! A little road noise from the dunes traffic, but we didn't go on vacay to sit in the house. Good location to many area attractions!
