Nice place for a large family vacation or get together, yes I would recommend this place

Pool area needs painting a few glitches nothing that we could work with, it was a little windy so you can feel the bed and the house shake a little overall it a very fun house for young people and adult.

Nice for extended family!

We had a large extended family with lots of couples, and all older teens and adults. Having so many bedrooms and extra sitting spaces was great. Also the huge kitchen with two dishwashers, multiples of basics, and an extra fridge in the first floor is fantastic. The pool was very nice to have. Our only complaints are the bedrooms with the bunk beds. The beds are great because they aren’t the cheap metal ones, but there is no air flow in those rooms. The other is that the listing says there are 3 king beds, but there are only two. One bedroom had two twins that aren’t in the listing.

Great Family get together

The house was just as advertised and had enough space comfortably for the 24 of us. The air conditioning was erratic with sometimes too much and sometimes not enough but we had a very hot week and we were comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious, there were two large living areas, and the pool and the pool area were great.Overall the house worked out fine for us.

Wonderful Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ourselves, our 4 children and spouses and 9 grandchildren from 15 through 2 stayed here in July. The house had more than ample bedrooms, closets and dresser space, large kitchen and dining area. Except for some bathroom floors which we rewashed, we found the house clean and with all linins and towels. The kitchen is very well stocked. It is an short walk to the beach and the pool was great, Parking was no problem.

Not ready for prime time

Reviewer Comments: Pros: near the beach, beach view, well stocked kitchen and new deck on front and side of house, and the couches on both levels were very comfortable.But, there are no coffee tables to put a glass or plate or book on. The bedroom furniture is worn out with old food wrappers in some of the drawers. The most disappointing thing is you cannot see the lovely backyar pool from any of the decks or from anywhere inside the house. Very responsive management company, so that is a huge plus.

Disappointing Stay @ A Looney Bin

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, our stay at this house started off on the wrong foot. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was the handrails in the stairwell were gummy and sticky, and generally overall filthy. The kitchen countertops were dirty, and our shoes literally stuck to the floor as we walk through the kitchen. We would have called to ask that the house be cleaned , but there was no time for correction. Our family reunion was a short one and we didn’t want to spend the beginning of it asking for the place to be re-cleaned. One of the twin beds actually had sprinkles that you would use on a cupcake inside the sheets, obviously we didn’t use that bed . It would be nice if some cleaning supplies were available in the house so that we could do our own cleaning but we had to improvise it was very disappointing.

Family Vacation in Sandbridge

Huge kitchen, great bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms (and hot water)! Great pool. If I needed to make a suggestion, I would say update the Cabana and make more use of the yard area around and behind the Cabana. We would definitely stay here again!

Spacious home near the ocean.

The house was clean, well equipped with furniture and kitchen items. The pool was well maintained and inviting but the pool house was dirty and ugly. The ocean access was relatively close and allowed for a ramp. On the other side, while the pool was lovely, the surrounding fence was dangerous with exposed nails sticking out in several locations, a hazard for our young children. The walk to the third floor was daunting, very narrow and steep and one of the reasons I wouldn't rent this house again. The layout of the house was odd and disjointed but there were many bedrooms. There was a damaged window on the second floor in the family room and a large hole in the wall in the third floor family room. Management was very responsive and arrived with a new battery for a smoke detector within 30 minutes.

Great Vacation in Sandbridge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great week at Sandbridge 1 block off the beach. Wonderful pool in the back, with a cabana and grill. Got a pool cleaning mid-week and also refresher towels mid-week. With young grandkids, the foosball table was a big plus, with lots of hours logged there. Also, the view of the ocean from our top deck was magnificent, day and night. I would heartily recommend Ocean Sands Realty and their properties for an upcoming beach vacation!

Multi-Generational Stay At Looney Bin

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: "Looney Bin" was a fun place to gather for a family reunion. We loved the location and its proximity to the beach. The pool was very adequate for family participation. Basically the kitchen was well stocked. We had to request can openers that did not work or were unavailable. We were able to cook and prepare meals and entertainment for our group of 20. The configuration of the floor plan and bedrooms provided comfortable space for all of us. The mattresses were a bit too firm. There were a few lackings that we would like to note. The bedrooms were not all made up when we arrived. Maintenance and appearance was a bit shoddy inside and out. We did appreciate that when we called to ask for repairs or missing items, your response time was excellent.An outside clothesline or clothes tree would have been extremely helpful for drying wet towels and bathing suits. We would have tracked less sand into the house if there had been an outside line.Given the three floors, an elevator would have helped getting food and clothing to the top floor where much of the activity and eating was centered. Climbing 3 flights of stairs was hard on older members of our group. It would better serve younger guests. Overall we enjoyed our stay at "Looney Bin" However, it doubtful we would choose to stay in this home again. The cost for a week was very high. A $100 fee for leaving 35 minutes late was a bit of an insult.

Terrific vacation spot

This was perfect for our extended family, ages 18 months to 71! Great selection of beds and bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, everything you could need in the kitchen, etc. It was a nice touch to have the crib and a closet full of toys! The beach was a short walk across the very quiet road that was also an excellent running/biking location in the early morning. It was great to have the pool as an option to the beach on those 103 degrees "feels like" temperatures. We would definitely return.

There was an issue with one of the bedrooms being too hot and within an hour, someone came to check on it and installed a portable air conditioner. They were exceptional to work with. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, the bedrooms were large, plenty of bathrooms. You walked across the street to get to the beach. I'd rent this one again in the future.

Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family vacation at A LOONEY BIN was a real disappointment. Poor housekeeping evidenced by trail mix under a sofa attracting ants, sandy bathroom rugs sitting unwashed in the washer, many cigarette butts on the deck and breezeway, birdbath filled with sand, numerous burned out bulbs, broken kitchen drawers, missing cables for TV's and DVD players, totes with soiled bedding and towels sitting outside the entry door all week, missing hammock, missing wall hangings, missing molding on several stair steps, missing lamp on/off knob, curled up area rug creating a trip hazzard, filthy trash can and towel basket in the cabana bathroom, the cabana was untidy as well as missing the microwave and radio that appeared in the web, game pieces scattered throughout the game closet, shower curtain rod not attached to the walls, filthy baby gate and so on. Most disappointing was the lack of a response from the Beach Pros management to the email and photos that I sent to them.

Problems at the Looney Bin

We arrived to dead bugs on the floors, a sandy pool, a tack under the covers of one of the beds and an extremely moldy smell on the second floor. After we were all there for a day most of us were experiencing headaches and coughing. There were tall weeds all around the pool and no hammock or horseshoe pit as advertised. The only positive is that beach pros realty did respond and tried to fix some things such as the pool and the weeds.

Great vacation home

We were very pleased with the property. The layout worked well for our 3 families. Plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with the type of cookware, utensils, dinnerware etc that you need for the week. We would not have needed to bring any of our own. The views were. Beautiful snd while the house was not on the beach, the way the deck was situated beteeen the 2 oceanfront houses we had an oceanfront view. Pool area was great. The yard could have used some TLC We would definitely rent again

Short get away

It was a very nice, clean, and open home. Plenty of room for our two families...each kid had their own room! Loved having two different seating/hang out area so the adults and kids could have their own spaces. Even though the weather wasn't great the first few days, there was still enough to do. And so easy to get to the beach - just cross the road and you're there! One suggestion would be to fix the upturned corner of the rug in the living area near the kitchen - caused many trips. Overall, a wonderful stay!

The house met and exceeded our needs. Plenty of space. Awesome views. Plenty of rooms. The one issue that we noticed is that the sliding door by the kitchen doesn’t lock. Just a heads up.

Family Memories

The house was great. We enjoyed the view of the Beach from the balcony everyday. Waking up to the sunrise and shutting down for the evening to some beautiful sunsets. I will recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful and safe community to enjoy some family time while making memories.
