About this property

Bungalow at The Last Chance Motel

Welcome to the Bungalow at The Last Chance Motel! Located in beautiful Elliston, Montana in the heart of fishing and hunting country. Situated near the Continental Divide and halfway between Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks we reside in the true heart of small town scenic Montana. If you're passing through the area, looking for a home base for your annual hunting or fishing trip or looking to get away and appreciate the simple life, come enjoy the mountain charm of our 2 bedroom bungalow.

The Bungalow House is a two bedroom, 1 bath home. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed. The large couch in the living room pulls out into a queen size bed. There is a 60" flat screen TV, and full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The backyard is fenced in. This is the perfect space for an extended stay.

The Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest is accessible just minutes from the Bungalow at The Last Chance Motel, offering an excellent area to recreate. In the summer enjoy your day hiking, fly fishing the Little Blackfoot, or off road adventuring in your UTV before grabbing a cold one and patty melt at our neighbor's the Spotted Dog Saloon. In the winter cross country ski 14 kilometers of scenic groomed classic and and skate cross country trails at MacDonald Pass ski trails (6 miles away) or rally your snowbike or snowmobile off into the back country.

If your looking for small town Montana charm and killer blueberry pie then stop into the Avon Cafe right up the road and enjoy a slice (or an entire pie, no one would judge you). And Friday through Sunday the Birdseye Mercantile in Avon is open peddling fine fabrics any quilter would love as well as yarn, gifts and antiques. If you want to journey up over the pass Broadwater Hot Springs is 18 miles away.

Nice Place in Elliston

We were visiting friends in Elliston so this place was ideal as it was close. It was an older place but clean.

Convenient Location

We hold a family reunion for about 50 people every other year at the near by Lions Camp. Most of us stay at the camp but some with issues that make the rusty sleeping arrangements uncomfortable, drive into Helena and rent hotel rooms. Thats a long hour drive round trip. Being able to stay just five minutes away makes a huge difference. We'll definitely be back!!!
