East of Eden - A small paradise in a central location
This historic hotel combines modern living with historic charm. It is located in a private road within walking distance of the waterfront and downtown (approximately 10-15 minutes) in a very quiet location. In the 200m distant Main Road number of buses.
The house was built built in 1860 by the workers, the later the port of Cape Town. This was one of their homes. The house has been extensively modernized and refurbished. It features a 2013 New gestaltets shower room and a fully equipped kitchen. In the small garden you can relax well with a book or a glass of wine.
The cottage processed comfortably accommodate two people, but has a zusaetzlichs sofa bed so can also pay four people.
The equipment leaves nothing to be desired hopefully. Every night there is a washing machine and iron, but also for beach umbrella and beach towels are provided. In addition to TV, DVD player and ipad docking station course also WiFi via a top-up solution. Books, games and DVDs are also available in the house. You only need to bring your clothes.
This house is not a pure Vermeitungsobjekt but my holiday home and it was decorated with lots of love and asugestattet. Please get it as you find it.
My manager, Cheryl, is looking forward to welcoming you on the spot.

About the host
Your host
I am a German national who grew up across the globe. Cape Town was and is by far my favorite place, which is why I invested to have my own little paradise there. I choose it with love and I hope my guests will enjoy it as much as I do. I am not there as much as I would like, leading a nomadic life.
Why they chose this property
De Waterkant is a lively neighborhood with lots of eateries, opportunities to shop, close to the city center yet my cottage is tucked away in a quiet corner.
What makes this property unique
This is a heritage protected property, one of the earliest structures build in Cape Town.
