OUR HOME:
Is located in the perfect location, 3 short blocks from downtown Yountville, walking distance to restaurants, tasting rooms, and walking trails. Our fully-furnished, single-level home is provisioned for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation, with high-speed wireless internet and a 55" smart TV with Xfinity/Comcast service with 140+ channels, or connect your personal Amazon Prime or Netflix account to stream shows. Cathedral ceilings and an open concept layout make it feel light and airy. Restoration Hardware (RH) furnishings throughout the home with fine bed linens (two sets per bedroom) and towels provided. There is a full-size stacked front loading LG washer and dryer for your extended stay. There are enough amenities provided to get you started (paper towels, Kleenex, tissue, liquid soap, dish detergent & shampoo).
THE KITCHEN: The open gourmet 'chefs' kitchen includes a Viking gas range/oven, stainless steel appliances, Viking dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, 40-bottle wine fridge, deep stainless steel tub sink, 14-cup coffee maker, adjustable under-cabinet lighting, white quartz countertops, and contemporary brass knobs/pulls. The kitchen is well stocked with copper pots & pans, non-stick, cast iron, bakeware, and a wide range of cooks' tools and utensils. White dinnerware and flatware for eight (8). Cloth napkins, seasonal table linens, and floral vases are provided to set a beautiful Wine Country table.
DINING ROOM: Just off the kitchen, the dining room features a wooden extendable table that seats up to six (6), with a metal dome lamp on a dimmer, and an oversized RH bistro mirror.
OUTDOOR DINING & RELAXING: A sliding door from the kitchen/dining room area takes you to the landscaped back patio, where you can relax and entertain around a teak dining table (seats up to six) or under the 10x12' gazebo, which can protect you from the elements. In the evening, enjoy the soft glow of landscape lighting whilst dining al fresco. A gas grill is available year-round.
BEDROOM 1 (Primary): Features vaulted ceilings with an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, Italian tiled floors, and double sink marble-top vanity. In the bedroom, you'll find a modern tufted headboard, Cal King mattress with a comfortable gel/foam cooling pillow-top, matching nightstands, bedside lamps with on/off switches, and ceiling fan. There are two separate closets with a luggage rack and ample supply of hangers, in addition to a 65" cherry wood dresser. There is a sliding patio door that overlooks the quiet backyard.
BEDROOM 2: Features a Queen bed, ceiling fan and windows that overlook the front gravel courtyard. There's a small desk and chair, should you need privacy from the living room area to read, work remotely, or catch up on emails. Access to the second full bathroom (shower/tub combo) is from the hallway, just outside the second bedroom.
GARAGE: Available to access the patio cushions and pillows, and store your luggage, ice chests, or golf clubs, but the garage is essentially the "owners closet" where we (the owners) keep our seasonal items. No room for a parked car.
Life in Yountville... picture waking up early to fetch a delicious warm scone from Kelly's Filling Station or pastries from Chef Thomas Keller's famed Bouchon Bakery. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon of wine tasting from one of a dozen tasting rooms in town, or experience a delicious meal at any one of the famous restaurants in town such as Bistro Jeanty (a personal favorite), Bottega, Ciccio, R+D Kitchen, RH Yountville, or The French Laundry. Or rent a bicycle from the local bike shop in town and explore Yount Mill Road, taking in the vineyard vistas and expanding mountain views. And if you like to golf, the nearest 9-hole public golf course is a 5-minute drive away. In addition, there are public tennis courts and pickle-ball courts in town, about a 15-minute walk from the house. All of these amenities are just a few minutes from our precious Wine Country home.
