Whether your looking for adventure or romance your sure to find it in this one bedroom, one bath cabin on the river. It has been remodeled. And the bed and sofa are new. Large shared yard with firepit, swing, grill and picnic table on the river. Also, there are a few fishing poles, you are welcome to use. The cabin is centrally located between Cherokee and Bryson City, so if you want to gamble or ride the train you are only minutes away. There are hiking trails and waterfalls nearby in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park . Or go whitewater rafting and ziplining at the Nantahala Gorge. Must be able to walk down uneven stone stairs. Or if art galleries and boutiques is your thing, Bryson City has that too along with Breweries. Or you could just chill and grill at the cabin. Lie around in the living room and read a book while listening to the sound of the rushing river outside. Snuggle up next to the firepit and roast some marshmellows. Also, now with central heat and air. And has smart tv now If you need a place for 4 people instead of just 2 check out vrbo number 4672931. It is the top cabin that you will share the yard with if it is rented.

My husband I spent the weekend celebrating his retirement and my birthday. We enjoyed the fire pit and relaxing to the sounds from the river.
The bed was comfortable and overall the cabin is very cozy!
The property is lovely. The space was just right. It was a friendly atmosphere and fun was had by all. The location is near everything that you would want to do in Cherokee.
We stayed at the bottom level of the property right across the flowing rover. There's a fire pit with logs in yhe backyard just near the river as well as a swing.
The moment you walk into the unit, you will know that the owners have very lovingly made up the entire place. You have everything that you need during your stay in the apartment. Really loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The little apartment was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and we were very happy with the rental. The river was right in the backyard, and it was beautiful. There are steep steps leading down to the apartment, though. That was our only concern.

Property was clean. View was nice. Property owner was pleasant, accommodated and easy to talk to. Would stay there again.
I loved the stay. Hostess was very kind and helpful. Property is well maintained and in such a gorgeous location on the river. You could just sit and enjoy nature or you are a short drive from any of the fun towns to explore.
We had a beautiful getaway in this lovely little place. Our host had every thing we could possibly need provided and the communication was great. The location was PERFECT!! Right in the middle between Cherokee and Bryson city. I wish we could've stayed longer just to enjoy that gorgeous view.
We enjoyed our stay. Kathy is a thoughtful super host. I was celebrating my birthday during our stay. She had a cake in the refrigerator and a birthday sign. The place was very clean and we enjoyed the view of the river. We enjoyed our conversation with her. We will definitely stay at her place when we are back.
The cabin is located at river side. My family planned to have vacation at the Great Smoky mountain and ended up with spending most of our time sitting in front of the river : ) Kathy is super friendly and we had good conversations. We’ll come back!
These are the things we love about the property: It’s on a beautiful river with mountains in view. There is seating, a fire pit, a grill, and places to eat and relax by the calming sound of the river. The small apt. has everything we need to rest well, fix our own meals and have close proximity to the Smoky Mountains, hiking, Bryson City and more. It is very affordable and the hosts are wonderful, reliable people!
We just finished our 2nd stay and plan to be back in the spring.
Place was clean, and we loved the babbling creek sounds. Property was as described, though I was surprised at the size of the refrigerator and coffee make, which were pint sized. Couch and bed were new as described. Cozy comes to mind. And Kathy added a nice touch with some cake for our anniversary. We had a lovely time!
One of the best vacations we have had! This apt. is right by a river and Mountain View that soothed us all week. The location is super close to hiking with waterfalls, tubing & rafting, fresh produce, Bryson City and more. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen and grill were great for food prep and we enjoyed drinking our coffee and having dinner in the beautiful space outside. Kathy is a wonderful host who went above and beyond. We really like Kathy and Daniel and hope to return in the fall.
