Where you would be able to disconnect while listening and seeing all types of beautiful Costa Rican wildlife- all of this in a luxury gated beach community. The house has a big infinity pool covered with stones brought from Indonesia perfect to have a good time with family and friends while cooking BBQ in the high performance grill in the backyard.

The house is located in Hacienda Pinilla one of the most luxurious beach gated communities in Costa Rica;

Beautiful Casa Pityaya

Just wrapped a week long stay at Casa Pitaya and could not have asked for a more perfect vacation home for my family. The home is new construction and located in a safe gated community, yet a short drive to the beaches, restaurants, markets, and the beach club. The home was generously stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Communication with the host was superb. We'll definitely be back!

We loved the location of Casa Pitaya and that each of the 3 couples had their own room and bathroom. Loved the option of renting their 6 seater golf cart. The property manager had a family emergency but a family member was in communication with us.

Beautiful Property and Great Location

This property is even more impressive in person. The house is beautifully appointed and maintained.The backyard pool and lounging area feel cozy and private. It’s a lovely gated community with all of the amenities of a resort. But the real gem is how close it is to beautiful beaches and great food! Avellanas beach is just a 10 min drive from the resort, but you can access part of the beach directly from the property’s beach club. Then there’s Playa Negra and Playa Langosta. So many great dining options are all nearby and Tamarindo town is just a 20 min drive. The property managers were easy to communicate with and were very responsive. Just an absolutely ideal location for a wonderful stay.

Summer Trip

First the house was exactly as pictured. Extremely clean and well taken care of. The pool was nice and it was nice to have access to the beach club. Also Gabriela was great to work with, she was responsive to all our needs and helpful. She booked our transportation from Liberia with Herbert which unfortunately ended up being San Jose because of weather 😑...BUT Herbert was able to arrange transportation from San Jose to the property on very short notice. It was almost a 6 hour drive in the middle of the night but much better than waiting for the bus Alaska Airlines was going to provide. Overall it was a great trip and I highly recommend the property...it is in a gated community and extremely secure.

Fantastic stay at Los Almendros

This was the second year in a row we have gone to Hacienda Pinilla for Spring Break, first time in this house and it was our best experience by far. House has everything you need. Location is great. The thing that really stood out is the communication with the manager which was outstanding. She was available to us every day both before and during our trip, she gave great recommendations and made us feel so welcome. The only negative is that the house next door had construction but that was outside of the control of this property and likely won’t be the case for future stays. I only mention it to again reiterate how amazing the manager was in communicating with me about it late at night. Highly recommend and we hope to be back soon!

Family stay in Costa Rica

We come to Costa Rica twice per year and this was our first time renting a house in the Hacienda Pinilla area. The location was perfect. The house is exactly as is pictured! We had more than enough room for our family of four. We enjoyed using the pool and taking the golf cart to the beach club! We highly recommend trying the local restaurants Rustico and Soul Shine. They were incredible! The only issue we had (and this isn’t the houses fault) but there is a ton of construction in the area and they were working on a house directly across the street and directly next door. Construction started before 7am and would go until about 6pm. It was loud and made it impossible to relax outside. I wish the house manager would have warned us of that when we booked. When we have stayed at other houses we are always informed if construction is nearby. Again, this was not the houses fault but maybe check the construction status before you book!

Paradise in Costa Rica

We had an amazing stay at the villa. The layout offered my wife and I tons of space and amenities. We loved the access to the beach club and JW Marriott. Gabriel was by far the best host we've ever had in all of our stays in VRBO rentals. She was so accommodating with all of our requests and made our stay truly special. We hope to come back to Costa Rica in the near future and hope to stay in this same villa when we return.
