Plenty of space to spread out. Lots of dishes and utensils in the kitchen as well as small appliances like pancake griddles and roasting oven. We had 26 in our group and the kitchen was more than adequate. Our only problem was some of the AC units in the basement bedrooms were less than optimal. Upstairs and main floor was not a problem but the individual units in the bedrooms downstairs had problems.
A couple of mix-ups on checking in but worked it out. We were disappointed that there was no hot tub as listed but had a great time anyway. Renita was very pleasant to work with.
The house was wonderful. We loved the seclusion and the close proximity to Richfield amenities. Was wonderful to see the stars again. We loved our stay
We loved our stay at that spacious house. We had 40 people and enjoyed the room to spread out.
There are several things that need to be updated. We had to have someone come restart the water heaters four times as we didn’t have hot water to shower, etc.
The air conditioning does not work that great with 90 degree weather. Sleeping downstairs was way too warm and uncomfortable. Some of the windows did not have screens, so we couldn't open the windows to let in the cool night air. Some of the door screens had space at the top where the bugs could come through.
Blinds or something on the windows in the big rooms facing west would help keep it cooler.
At least one of the bedroom doors did not lock. (Upstairs). And the bathroom by the front entry does not lock. The lock turns - but they don't catch and can be pushed right open.
We meet as a family every year around the holidays and this was by far our favorite. Clean, spacious, well stocked, many extra features, wonderful location. Would definitely recommend this venue for family gatherings.
Stunning views on all sides in secluded area, spacious rooms and plenty of areas to gather, well-stocked kitchen with dishes for a group up to 40, lovely outdoor spaces for games or relaxation, comfortable furniture and good beds. This is a proprerty that is cared for by family and it shows that it is done with love. We had a marvelous stay! Great for all ages. Close to Capitol Reef, Fish Lake and Richfield. Good wi-fi and well sound-proofed rooms. Plenty of parking. Beautiful night sky viewing. Owners were quick to respond to questions or issues.
