Peaceful & Clean Waterfront Suite on the Lake Norman Main Channel

This suite has a private entrance from the garage. Suite is located above the garage, the main house is a one story, the private suite is upstairs by itself with no wall directly connected to the home. There is no interaction with the main house. The suite has an adjustable split Tempur-Pedic king bed that is so amazingly comfortable! The bed has white cotton sheets with laundered duvet cover. Suite also has an electric fireplace. Cozy table/desk overlooking the front garden. Perfect for dining or a workspace. Suite also has a futon for extra room and a 40" Smart TV. Please see photos and all the amenities. Why will you fall in love with this listing.... We give our guests full use of the waterfront. Home is located on the Main Channel. What does this mean? You are not in a cove, water is nice and views of the lake are amazing. Our dock sits on water that is 25+ feet deep. A perfect location to fish. We even have fishing poles available in the garage. The guest boat slip always has deep water and has an electrical outlet for charging on fishing boats. The dock is well maintained and in beautiful condition. The covered dock has comfortable wicker seating, small propane grill, mini fridge, WIFI mesh router, and a google mini that will play your favorite music. This is great to enjoy year round rain or shine. If you get up early and head to the dock the sunrise is beautiful. We have a beautiful paved road that is great for a morning or afternoon walk! Come and enjoy all the scenery! We provide two kayaks and 2 paddle boards at no charge. Unfortunately we do not allow the boat ramp at the property to be used to load and unload boats, PWCs or trailers. There are two public ramps just a few miles away. . Pinnacle Access and McCrary / Queens Landing access. You are welcome to relax in the lounge chairs on the boat ramp Just to confirm... We do have a guest limit of two people as this is for peaceful getaways, we only allow registered guests to come to the property. Due to the fact we have two Golden Retrievers we do not allow pets. We do not surcharge for anything or have any hidden fees. We also charge a very reasonable cleaning fee.

Relaxing getaway!

We enjoyed the apartment, loved the kayaking, the views and the dock. Beautiful and relaxing. We would come back from Alberta Canada to enjoy this place on Lake Norman!

PERFECT GET-AWAY

This place was 100% exactly as I pictured it would be. --Friendly people -Safe -Relaxing -Comfortable -Kayaking when I wanted -Fishing when my husband wanted Nicole was extremely quick at responding to any questions that we had. Our flight got cancelled on way out, not getting us in until 3am. Nicole messaged to check in on us and then told us she left the lights on for us so we could easily check in. I hope we get the chance to stay there again! In the top 3 of my favorite VRBOs we have ever stayed in.

Amazing place at the lake!

Beautiful & relaxing!

What a wonderful home away from home! Our room was just perfect. Nicely designed, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We enjoyed a bottle of wine sitting on the dock while taking in the beauty of the lake. Nicole was extremely welcoming when we arrived & very sweet. We even got to meet the furbabies who greeted us with wagging tails & doggie smiles. We will definitely be staying again in the future. If 10 stars were an option we would rate this rental as a 10!

Picture perfect!

This is a sweet, comfortable, lovely place to retreat to. Stay hidden from the world in this comfy stylish studio apartment for one or one couple. Step out to a scenic lakeside dock and covered deck. Just so nice…could have stayed for weeks, but only had a weekend. Will certainly return if the opportunity arises. It’s a wonderful getaway place.

Mindful peaceful relaxing

It was great as soon as we drove in the driveway the room was everything we needed ,bed super comfortable. the dock was big and laid out perfect we bbq on dock had meals on dock we caught blue catfish off of dock every day some over 30lbs plus got strip bass .the host was so nice the two dogs were lovable it turned out to be a dream vacation .

Marvelous

Only had 4 nights wish I had 2 weeks. Nichole was so friendly and helpful. Total privacy in n our unit. beautiful room with an everything we needed. Heated up a pizza on the grill on the dock. Glass of wine sitting on the dock on a beautiful night gazing over lake Norman. I as able to use the garage to store some of our stuff rather than hauling upstairs. We will return several times in the future. Loved our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed an overnight here. The room is beautifully appointed and everything you might need is conveniently located. We were impressed with the clever use of space to provide sleeping, cooking, and eating space. Peaceful and quiet is certainly an appropriate description of the facility, but it fails to highlight the natural beauty of the setting and the beautiful and interesting decorations. The bed is very comfortable. The hosts are welcoming, gracious, and promptly responsive. We suggest that you make time to enjoy sitting on the delightful dock in this gorgeous setting.

Awesome place on Lake Norman!

Oh my gosh what a beautiful place to stay. The backyard with the dock on the lake was awesome. Very quiet and a great view. Wish the weather had been a little nicer so I could have enjoyed the water. Their dogs are awesome too. Definitely will stay again!

Perfect Place

Easy to get in and out. We used it for a halfway home point for a night but would really have enjoyed another day or two. Lots to see and do and eat. Cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. Nicole was very sweet and caring. Stay here. You’ll be happy with your choice.

Awesome find beside the shore

Where to start....Nicole was a gracious host along with her two side kicks Max and Murphy. Everything was easy to access and the location was one of the prettiest along Lake Norman's shore. We did dinner on the dock along with some fishing and fire pit. The outdoor amenities went well above and beyond. The bed was super soft and inviting after the long days of outdoor fun. Will absolutely come back again! Thank you for the warm welcome into to your home. 💯💯❤️❤️

Well Worth A Spontaneous Trip

My girlfriend and I decided to take a trip out of state for our 4 year anniversary. We decided to stay near Charlotte, it's about 40 minute drive, but the lake view was well worth it! We had so much fun fishing and grilling up our food on the dock, we loved saying hi to our hosts Max and Murphy 🐶 There were so many lovely amenities and details to make our stay here feel so comfortable and at home. We would absolutely stay here again or with one of their lovely neighbors also recommended to us. Even at an odd time of year where it's not too hot or cold, the stay was amazing. So much to do and everyone was so kind. 10/10 trip :)

Perfect overnight stay

This was exactly the perfect fit for what we needed. The rental is easily accessible, filled with lots of extra little touches and Nicole is soo sweet! The bed was super comfy! The view of the lake was beautiful - we need to go back when it's a little warmer though! Great stay! We'll be back!

Lovely lakeside home

My husband and I love to boat, jet ski, and play golf. My husband is an excellent cook and makes fabulous meals. We have two Golden Retrievers that rule the house. My husband is a retired casino executive, and I am now retired from retail management. My husband grew up in the Washington DC area and I grew up on the west coast (California and Arizona), but I lived a lot of places as my father was in the Navy when I was young, and my mother loved to travel. I met my husband in Nevada. We raised our children in Crystal Lake, Illinois and Peters Township, Pennsylvania. We choose North Carolina to retire due to the weather, the beautiful Lake Norman and family in the area. We have many friends that we meet up with on boats all summer long.

Why they chose this property

We started renting the suite the first of October 2021. We have had so many great guests. We love giving our guests the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Lake Norman. I worked for the Wynn in Las Vegas and try my best to give the suite a five star feel. We have a top of the line bed that will leaves you well rested and very comfortable. A bose radio/cd player with some cds to relax to. We have some games and cards to entertain you. We have information on the lake, restaurants and venues in the room. We also included a binder that gives great information as well. I am so proud to say that all our guests have loved staying here at the suite. Even in the short time we have been renting we continue to add new and fun things. We decorated the suite for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We added some new lake decor, the electric fireplace, a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs, a picnic basket with all you need for a picnic at the lake, a lighted mirror in the bath and painted with a brighter color. We really want to make your stay special, and we appreciate our guests. Most guests may see my husband out walking our dogs or I may pop down once to the dock to say hello and make sure you have everything you need. Other than that, we give our guests privacy to enjoy their vacation. We take extreme pride in the cleanliness of our property. The room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every visit. We are here to make you stay a beautiful one. Please ask questions we are happy to help. We have assisted guests with kitchen items that they needed, tackle items, directions and recommendations. Just let us know if you need anything at all.

What makes this property unique

Our property is centrally located to everything. We are on the main channel with deep water and beautiful views versus a small cove. Our street is a long, beautiful road that has friendly people out walking every day. Please note the speed limit is 25. We are on a dead-end street which limits traffic to residents primarily. Our suite is spacious, clean and very private. As noted in the description our location is premium.

If you have a boat or you are wanting to rent, we have a great boat slip. If you want to boat while you are visiting, Check out Lake Effects boat rentals online. The site includes availability and pricing, they do book in the summer so get reservations in early. They are very close to the suite. Our dock is beautiful and well maintained. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. Amenities of our dock, wicker seating, Wi-Fi, google mini, BBQ, mini fridge, television and the most amazing views. If you are interested in a fishing charter Captain Price will pick you up at our dock. Website is setnhooks.com This is a great gift to give to a fisherman in the family!

We have two kayaks, two paddleboards and a canoe that are included in the rental for your unlimited use. We have life jackets from adult small to Adult 2XL. We hope to add to our collection as the summer months come. During the summer the property has beautiful flowers and birds of all kinds. During the winter there is a firepit with stunning views.

Please note that if you are coming during a holiday there may be fireworks. We live on a lake that does love to celebrate. Please ask if this is a concern for you. We do not allow any smoking of any kind in the suite but do allow it outdoors.
