About this property

Our cottage rents from Friday to Friday, so you have a full weekend with us. Also on Saturday it’s crazy with everyone-checking in and out. Spend that day on the beach, not in traffic. This newly remodeled Beach House on the Bay sleeps 6-9 people comfortably, with NEW MATTRESS installed June 2023. A Large family room with large island, dine-in kitchen, 55’ Smart TV with cable, streaming, and DVD. Large entertaining wrap around deck to watch the sunrise or sun set. Six person table with umbrella is perfect for sitting back and enjoying the view, or sun in the chase lounge chairs. Small bistro table., and six chairs on the back deck, to enjoy the sunsets. Or a quiet cup of coffee.
4 Beach cruisers beach cruisers, four smaller bikes one with training wheels. It makes it an easy ride to the beach in about 3 minutes. The walk is an enjoyable, no more than a 8 minute stroll. The house has multiple beach chairs, plenty of beach toys to help build that Sandcastle, when you return enjoy a hot or cold outdoor shower, to rinse off that Sandcastle. Fix dinner on the propane grill with all the cooking utensils you would need.

Fully stocked kitchen, 12 bath towels, 12 hand towels, 12 wash clothes, 12 beach towels, kitchen towels and dishcloths, washer and dryer, vacuum, broom, auto dust pan, cleaning supplies.

House supplies 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 paper towel, 4 trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and cleaning supplies. Should you need more there is a local market three miles from the house, as you come into Sandbridge across from the Fire Station.

This is a quite neighborhood and most are year round residents. No house parties, no under age drinking. There is an age requirement for rental. Thank you for understanding.

Weekend Getaway

My wife and I were more than pleased with our stay. The cleaner goes above and beyond to have the house prepared for guests. While we had difficulty with the lockbox for the key (arriving late at night), the owner was more than accommodating and responsive. Rental property or hotel/resort, this is one of the best experiences I’ve had.

No Beach Access to Ocean

You could not park next to ocean only at the end of the neighborhood and that was only about 50 spaces. NO ACCESS unless you walked from the house which was about half hour walk.

Spring in sandbridge

We had a great time here. The house was a great size for our family of four. It was very clean and comfortable, we felt right at home. Everything we needed was there and kid friendly. We made wonderful memories here. We hope to be back again!

February Fun Time

Our family of five had the perfect time at Beautiful Sunsets on Back Bay. Check in was easy and once inside we found everything to be just as pictured and described. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The house felt bright and cheery, beds were comfortable and we found everything to be clean and comfortable. We made good use of puzzles and games we found. We enjoyed walks to the beach and eating fresh donuts from the market in the morning. We visited the Aquarium near by with our 8 year old. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us and we look forward to returning in the future .

Super comfortable and super clean!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house fit our group of six very comfortably. The host was extremely communicative and awesome to work with. And you MUST try the donuts from the local mart across the from the fire station! We will definitely be staying here again!

Quiet and Peaceful Beach Trip

The property was great and we truly enjoyed our stay. The beach was a little walk away, but it was pleasant and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful for us. Since it's October we had the beach to ourselves. The house had everything we needed, it was well stocked and the hosts were fabulous and responded quickly to everything. I would definitely go back there with my family for another trip.

Great Cottage

My experience was great from beginning to end. The communication with the owner was the best. Any questions I had, they readily answered. They tried to accommodate everyone - they even had an older type coffee pot along with a newer type, which said so much about the owners. I hope to rent from them again - a wonderful time - and a very, very clean cottage.

Family vacay with 4 adults

Very clean , just as described , plenty of room for 4 adults and room for more. Bikes were great for back and forth to the beach- just a short 5 minute ride!! Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Great view of the bay from the wrap around porch! Kitchen had everything you needed and lots of extras. Bathrooms were clean and had fresh towels. Would definitely stay again!!

Cozy and Clean Cottage

We loved our stay in this home. It was immaculately clean and just felt so welcoming. The house itself was one of the biggest highlights of our visit. The owner communication was above and beyond. My preteen boys repeatedly said how much they loved the place and couldn’t stop playing at the foozeball table. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Beautiful home

The home was very nice and spacious. Kitchen has all you need. The bed in the MB was very comfortable and my children were comfortable in the other beds. The home is very close to the beach with free parking. The beach was not crowded at all and very nice. I loved the small Sandbridge Market nearby. Overall, a very nice stay!

Lovely Cottage with Bay View

Before we even arrived in the house, the host communicated with us severall times with helpful information. On one rainy day, she even emailed us with information about an activity we might enjoy since it wasn't a beach day. The cottage has a lovely open living/dining/kitchen area surrounded by windows, so the room is bright and cheerful. The owners have lovingly decorated the entire house with various nautical/beach items. The kitchen is well-stocked. The cottage, while compact, had everything we needed for our stay and we will definitely consider renting again during our next trip to Sandbridge.

Comfy little beach rental

Pulling into the driveway, you can tell the home is older compared to the surrounding houses. But that is where it’s charm comes in. My teenagers said it reminded them of their grandparents house and that made them feel more comfortable staying there. Overall, I felt like the home was clean and quaint. I loved that the sheets were bundled nicely on the beds and we could make them ourselves so we knew they were clean and not reused. My son really enjoyed fishing from the dock pretty much the whole trip. I think the tide may have been higher from the recent rains because majority of it was under water, but he was able to still walk through the water to get to it and said it was his favorite part of our vacation. He caught a decent amount of fish. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes and there was practically no one else there so we had almost the whole beach to ourselves. The sunrises on the beach were amazing and we saw dolphins. And the sunsets from the deck were beautiful! Lina was phenomenal with communication. She was always nice and very quick to reply. There was one issue with the trash not being picked up and she was on top of it immediately. She even gave us a little history on the house during our conversation. You can tell she cares about the property which is nice compared to some of the places that we’ve stayed at. If you’re looking for an affordable family friendly home for your vacation, this is the place. We would definitely visit again!

great pictures

the pictures seen online of the property were a little misleading. the bath rooms really need some updates and TLC but overall it give me a placed to where i could spend time with my brother who is ill and make lasting memories. and for that reason i thank you.
