My husband and I had a fun and relaxing time at this cottage. The property is well kept and is stocked with everything needed from recreation to a comfortable stay. This is the property all VRBOs should aspire to be like!
What a lovely property! We stayed over a long weekend and it was a perfect space for us and our teens - 30 minutes to Annapolis, up the road from a farm stand and crab shack, beautiful sunsets. Kitchen is exceptionally well appointed for the nights we felt like cooking.
What absolutely Amazingly Incredible place to be!!! This was the nicest rental we’ve Ever been to. So much attention to detail and stocked to the Hilt. Friendly neighbors relaxing environment and the most Gorgeous Sunsets. There is not one single complaint because the home and host are Magnificent!!!
I celebrated my 60th birthday with 3 of my daughters. The weather was cool and windy so we stayed cozy on the porch and enjoyed 2 incredible sunsets during our stay. Well equipped home, clean, and perfect for us!
This house is such a gem. Clean and cozy with amazing views and everything we needed. Check in to check out was smooth sailing. owners had great communication. The neighborhood was so quite and peaceful.
Our family had a great stay. This house has everything you need and then some. The host was so helpful and answered all our questions before arrival. We were all around impressed with the facilities, setting, and amenities. We hope to return again.
We went fishing with Captain Andy and had a great day on the water

Everything worked out really well for our stay! Pros: House is spacious, fully stocked, and has stunning sunset views. Queen bed very comfy. Nice hang out room for the kids. Hosts were phenomenal communicators.
Cons: House is fairly dated. The views make up for it though!
Really pleasant experience with a very attentive property owner who is communicative and makes sure we were equipped with everything we needed.
House is very comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. We caught some crab from the dock and bought some more to enjoy a MD crab feast.
Annapolis close by as well as fishing boats.
Forgot box with condiments. A perfect spice cabinet to use. Kids loved the “Nugget” floor pillows. Such fun and so practical.
Good birdwatching. Too windy for fishing.
My friends and I had a great stay at this waterfront house on Kent Island. Screened-in porch facing west to the Bay was fantastic. Great sunsets and easy relaxing. House is well appointed with everything you need. Super clean and tidy. The host obviously cares a lot about the property and the guests. We crabbed and fished from the dock and rods and traps are available. Marina is a close drive for good eats and charter fishing. This place was just what our friends needed to catch up after 20 years of not seeing each other.
The Cottage is fantastic! There are amenities in every corner that will comfort, inform, and entertain. We especially loved the fishing poles, crab traps, lawn games, yoga mats, dart board, coffee press, bikes, fire pit, lounge chairs, camp chairs, warm blankets, new towels, interesting books, fun games,..... If we wanted it - we found it there waiting for our use. The kitchen lacked not one single tool and was perfectly organized. Rick was attentive and generous with his lovely property. The dock is actually a huge pier that allowed hours of exciting fishing and delightful plunging. The osprey nest and the kindly neighbors were a bonus.
We loved Rick's home! It was the perfect size with great accommodations for our family, who were in town for a wedding. We are very familiar with the area so we were excited about the location and the bay views off the back of the property.
I'm always so relieved when a home is clean and this one was immaculate. The beds were comfortable, sheets super soft, towels were thick. The kitchen was well equipped, too. The view is spectacular and the sunset from the dock was beautiful. We usually stay closer to St Michaels, but this location was just fine for us this weekend...such a quiet neighborhood and again...the proximity to the water and the sounds of the bay from the comfortable screened in porch were just perfect! We didn't use the bikes, but the flat neighborhood and nearby trail were definitely inviting and they even provided bike helmets. We also didn't fish/crab, but the provided supplies looked to be in great condition. This place really felt so well cared for and details were not overlooked. Highly recommend and we all hope to return next year!
We were 2 couples looking for a nice getaway and we got it! Lovely home, with excellent attention to the needs of out of state guests. And the location on the Chesapeake made this getaway as perfect as the sunsets we enjoyed while there.
My friends and I celebrated 20 years of friendship with a trip to Kent Island. The property was exactly as described and a very comfortable spot for us to spend a weekend as moms of little kids who needed some time to ourselves. We are already talking about coming back!

We love the closeness of the water and the quiet neighborhood.
What makes this property unique
Relaxing on the porch while the waves splash in the background can be extremely calming until someone catches a fish, then it's extremely fun.
