This cozy cabin is perfect for a couple or a small family! Located at the south end of Wallowa Lake, giving you easy access to the activities at Wallowa Lake. Enjoy the wilderness during the day, but snuggle into your cabin to 'rough' it in style!

Upon entry, the living room opens to the kitchenette and dining area. The kitchenette features a toaster oven, crockpot, and a gas stovetop (no oven). To your left of the living room is a queen bedroom and twin bunk beds in a small nook off of the bedroom. Back in the living room is comfortable seating and a TV. Near the kitchenette and dining area is a door to the small enclosed private back deck with a seven-foot privacy fence. A full bathroom has a shower stall.

A wraparound front deck has lots of outside seating and a grill for family cookouts. To the back of the house is an open forest-type area and the best little wooden teepee that a six-year-old can create!

This is the perfect little cabin that not only snuggles you in during the day or evening but is close enough to walk to the activities at the resort side of Wallowa Lake, like the Tramway, the bumper boats, go-karts, and putt-putt golf! Be within a short walk of the activities at the Wallowa Lake Marina, boat launch, and day-use area because they are roughly four blocks away.

Great cozy cabin

Loved how it was nestled in the woods. Close to the lake, creek and town. Only regret is that we didn't discover the creek area in the park by the lake and some great spots to plant our lawn chairs in to stay cool!! Perfect for two people!

Nice forest setting but don’t expect a view

My friend and I stayed here for 5 days. The cabin is in a forested area which was nice for sitting out on the deck (although you will most likely have to clean the table of tree debris daily) however there is no view of the mountains as the listing suggests. I slept on the bunk beds and ended up moving from the top to the bottom because they were so wobbly I didn’t feel comfortable up top. We prefer cooking to eating out and the pots and pans could really use an upgrade. Most were well worn with mismatched lids. One pan was also dirty so we didn’t use it. The hot water on demand was nice and we were provided with two fans to use as it was quite hot the week we stayed so that was much appreciated. There was also a power outage after dark and it would’ve been nice to find some flashlights instead of using our phones and eating up our batteries. Overall it’s a good price for what you are getting and we had a nice time but it could definitely use some upgrades.

Central cabin

Clean, central located cabin in the woods, quiet neighborhood, walling distance to gondola and park and near by attractions. Great to be able to cook our own meals.

Funky Mountain Cabin

If you’re looking for an affordable, conveniently located cabin at Wallowa Lake that will keep you warm and dry, this fits the bill. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and well enough appointed. The price was right and the location close to the state park and the lake. Quiet neighborhood while we were there, midweek in late May.

Cozy, clean cabin but some initial problems

I liked the cabin and enjoyed my stay once I got everything working. When I arrived, found a note saying the kitchen lights and frig lights weren’t working and an electrician had been called. This would have been a deal breaker as kitchen lights were the main lights in the cabin. Fortunately they were working??? What wasn’t working was the refrigerator: it was warm, dark and smelly inside. After 9 hours of driving and a box of fresh food that needed to be refrigerated, I was very unhappy. I saw there was another outlet on a different wall so moved the frig plug there and it came on and worked fine. The light bulb was missing so of course it couldn’t work. The next morning I went to take a shower only to find there was no hot water! So I got dressed and started investigating the systems. Found the on-demand water heater and saw it had no power. There was no other outlet to try so went outside, found the electrical panel and a tripped breaker. Once I reset the breaker, power was restored to the circuit and the hot water heater worked fine. The bedroom smoke detector’s battery was going out (blinking green). I suggested it should be replaced soon but that was not done while I was there. I contacted Vacasa that first night and got several messages from them saying they wanted to help but never an offer to send someone to the cabin. If I hadn’t been able to resolve the refrigerator and hot water issues on my own, I would have had to leave, ruining my trip.

Nice for a couple of days

The location was good, Quiet and felt very Safe. We had everything we needed there almost but Much better than camping or a hotel. On the downside The toilet tank seeped water a little and so the booster pump kicked on frequently we had to turn the water off to the toilet at night.. Also the floor from the middle of the kitchen to the back of the house was slowas sloped down. It was an interesting feeling until yountil you got used to it. The DVD's were nice the games were nice everything was very clean reclaim and the basics were all there.. I would stay there again.

Among the pines!

Well that was my first Vacasa stay. And it was absolutely great. I've been in the hospitality industry for 30 years. So I feel I am picky but fair. Great little place within walking distance to all I needed. The cabin was very clean with everything. Great experience.
