About this property

New construction 320 sq ft tiny house in quiet community with lake access from community boat launch or from Walling Bend Park, just 5 minutes away. House includes fully stocked kitchenette with 2-burner induction cooktop, multi-function microwave, refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker. The 55" smart tv will keep you in touch and the quiet HVAC will keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The propane Weber grill is easy to access on the large outside deck. You can enjoy stargazing while roasting marshmallows over the firepit. There is ample parking for your boat. The lake can be accessed by foot at the rear of the property for fishing or swimming.
Please note that during 2024 there will be periodic construction on our house at the back of the property, about 50 yards away. You will still have unfettered lake access and no construction should take place after 5:00pm or on weekends. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!

Great spot

Great spot to stay. Owners super cool. Private boat ramp access. Fair warning its steeper than normal depending on what your use to but is totally usable. House is extremely cozy and perfect for what we needed. 20 minute drive to good food if you dont feel like cooking. Everything needed for a weekend on the lake.

Nice quiet place

I really enjoyed this stay for the fact it was very quiet & near a lake yet not too far from restaurants/stores. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Great little cabin

Great little cabin with a nice back dexk and propane grill. Also has a fire pit and thebhost provided the firewood which was very nice to sit around in the chilly weather. The neighbors dog also came over to say hi amd sit around with us by the fire. Has everything that you need inside.

Great Stay

This little Casita was perfect for a couple days of fishing at Lake Whitney and t(e Brazos river. The place was really clean and well equipped. The only negative is it’s on the west side of the lake so it’s hike to get to a grocery store, but I knew that going in since we owned a property in a near by development several years ago. No complaints here…would stay there again.

Very clean, modernized, well furnished small Cottage

Perfect small cottage that we found "lived" much larger than the stated 320 sq ft. Recently renovated, it thus had all new appliances and creature comforts. Excellent simple floor plan that conveniently met all of our wants & needs. Highly recommend it. The host, Byron and his staff were really nice and made our stay very enjoyable. We will return there when back in the area.

So cute!!! The small details were appreciated: Make up remover cloths; plenty of water in fridge, snacks, blue tooth speaker, games, blankets, plenty Pillows, fire pit, wood to burn, grill, nice patio, outside lighting... it just goes on.... we will stay there again!!!!

Long Weekend on Lake Whitney

Cozy Casita was perfect! We brought our jet skis up for a long weekend. Byron was a great host. We had a great time and will be back next summer.

Labor Day Getaway

My boyfriend and I met here since it was a half way point for both of us. We had a great time! The Cozy Casita was perfect and had everything we needed. The first day a friend took us riding around the lake. We loved the trolley!! It provided us easy access to the lake and we spent the other two days just relaxing and floating on beautiful Lake Whitney. We will definitely be back!!❤️

We got to meet our host who is wonderful and friendly. This was our second weekend there . We loved it so much we had to stay again 😄. Lake is wonderful to swim in and our stay was quiet and cozy. Hope to stay again soon.

Nice getaway

cottage was super cute and very clean, Lake Whitney is gorgeous, restaurants/bait shops & grocery store within 15-20 min of cottage, Byron was a great host our only concern was the neighbors and their music we were not able to sit outside and enjoy the evenings and we were looking forward to some peace & quiet

This place was perfect for our 4-night stay. It is tucked away in a quiet area and has everything you need from kitchen essentials, to Wi-Fi, to extra bedding to restroom/shower products. Byron was amazing in every way. He was very responsive and accommodating to anything we needed.

Family Vacation

Our Family vacation was a blast! We enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lake with the kiddos.. We sat around the camp fire and made s’mores and told campfire stories.. Played Board games and brought our cornhole game and made some amazing family memories with lots of laughs! Can’t forget the best part was watching the deers come up and eat!! The best views and an amazing scenery ♥️ Thank you so much for an amazing place to stay and with providing us with everything we needed to make our time the best!

Wonderful!

It was a great, cozy little cottage that was very clean and well stocked. We did not need anything that they did not already have in the cabin. Well organized and easy to find everything as well. Byron was incredibly kind and helpful the entire time, as well as, his sweet parents. Perfect little weekend fishing getaway for our family.

Adorable tiny home by the lake

This little home was absolutely perfect for our girl’s getaway! The kitchen as stocked with all things needed and the BBQ was put to good use all 3 nights of our stay. We were greeted by lovely deer just moseying around every evening and had several super friendly cats on the property. We absolutely loved our stay!!! 😍

Great Getaway!

Every year I meet up with a friend that I grew up with for a girl's trip. This was our second stay at the Cozy Casita, and we just love it there! Everything about it is perfect! Byron is a great host and always responds quickly. Will definitely be back.
