Your up north getaway starts here! Cozy 2 bedroom / 1 bath cottage on the south side of Hubbard Lake. Full kitchen, spacious living room, queen bed in one room, full bed in 2nd. Knotty pine throughout -gives a nice up-north rustic vibe! Private, wooded setting and only a short walk down the hill to the lake. Perfect for year-round fun! Enjoy all the area has to offer - swimming, boating, fishing (driveway provides room for boat/trailer) and golf in the summer; hunting and color tours in fall; snow mobiling/ice fishing in winter. DNR boat launch within 1 mile of cottage. White Pine Golf Course, and area restaurants within 1-2 miles. Gas, grocery and convenience stores within 10 miles, and Alpena is only a 1/2 hour away. Winter Getaway Near Hubbard Lake, Michigan

Quiet stay for retired couple in a clean, well-maintained cabin. Communications with Debbie were excellent. Loved the kitchen/dining room view of the back yard & trees.

Perfect up north cozy cabin

Exactly what we needed for a 3 night stay up north. 3 adult men stayed in this location, and with the pull out couch we all had our own beds. Everything was clean, the owner was easy to communicate with, and we'd stay there again without hesitation.

Classic up north cabin. Had a nice stay for a wedding in town. The only thing to note is that there are curtains not doors on the bedroom - not a problem just something to know.

Pleasant Retreat

This little cabin is peaceful and charming! There is a lot to do in the area and this is a great home base between the adventures. This was the quintessential UpNorth stay. Great communication. Highly recommend!

Relaxing get away

This place is a perfect get away for the family and a fun return to hubbard lake after 5 years. The property manager is extremely friendly and attentive, house is extremely clean and organized, overall good place to stay to explore hubbard lake and/or to just relax. Will probably book again on our next visit to the area.

Perfect Place for a Quiet Getaway!

Welcoming, homey cabin with everything we needed and more. Tidy property with a nice picnic table and deck, fire ring, and firewood. The kitchen was well appointed, and the bathroom was clean. Every window had blinds, and they all worked! A few references were on hand to provide us with ideas for day trips and good meals. No overbearing rulebooks, and the WiFi password was in plain sight. There are curtains, not doors, providing privacy in the bedrooms. This was not a problem for us and added to the charm. We hope to visit again soon!

Cute Cabin and Excellent Location!!

This cabin is cozy and cute. Big enough for a family of 3 or 4, and super comfortable. It is in a great location, with access to driving around to see many different things. The area and neighborhood are quiet and peaceful. The woods behind and around the cabin are nice, you are not closely located to anyone else.
