In the fenced-in, private backyard, lots of lush green grass meets up to a backyard patio with a custom-built gas-lit wood burning fireplace, comfy seating, and smart TV where you can relax, grill out, or even work.
The location of The Grey Havens puts you less than 2 miles to downtown Plano with it's renown dining options, walkability and access to the downtown DART station. Bob Woodruff Park is less than a mile away, with 3.7 miles of paved trail for jogging and biking, and great off-trail jaunts through the forested area and around Rowlett Creek. Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve, Plano's largest park which boasts nearly 8 miles of concrete trails and 5 miles of soft surface trails is10 minutes up the road. Go Ape, a zipline and treetop adventure venue, is located within the park and make for an awesome daytrip during your stay!
In summary, you will be close to a lot of great amenities while having the opportunity to destress in nature within a few minutes of the house!
The space
This 1400 sq/ft home is in the established neighborhood of Briarwood in revitalizing East Plano. There is a 2-car garage with additional parking in the driveway. Natural light fills the home. The well-appointed kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal, including stainless steel appliances, non-toxic ceramic nonstick cookware, and coffee maker. We also added bar seating which overlooks the backyard with a charging station nearby, making it what will probably be your favorite spot to sip your morning coffee or tea and greet the day. Full-size washer and dryer are included, as are of course linens and towels.
We stock the home with a starter pack of essentials which includes:
-coffee, tea, sugar and sugar substitutes, EVOO, parchment paper, foil, ziplocks, dishwasher pods, dishwashing soap& laundry detergent.
-toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, handsoap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, 2 hairdryers.
- Master Bedroom: King Bed with luxurious Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid Elite Kelburn mattress, 2 large closets, en-suite bath with shower/tub combo and lots of natural light from the privacy window, night stands with lamps, large dresser, dual electric plug/USB charging port, fan.
- BR 2: Queen bed with luxurious DreamCloud mattress, night stands with lamps, large dresser, ample closet space, fan, dual electric plug/USB charging port.
- Flex room: Futon couch that sleeps 1 adult or 2 kids comfortably, Workspace with desk with work lamp and office chair, enclosed shelving space for storage, dual electric plug/USB charging port.
- 2 full baths with tub/shower combo (1 in hall, 1 in Master)
-Dining area features a table with locally-reclaimed wood made by a local artisan.
