Loved this cabin. Best stocked kitchen supplies of any place I’ve ever stayed. Great game room and comfy theatre. Hope to stay there again. Would have loved to see the water at full pool … it was slowly rising during our week stay. Saw a variety of animals: 6 deer family and a variety of birds. a beaver, wild turkey , ducks & no bears. Wonderful place for our large family ranging from 84 to 25
The house was exactly what we needed for a family of 15 Christmas celebration! There was a little bit of deferred maintenance, and a serious lack of kitchen towels, but none of that took away from our family vacation. Be aware, though, that in December the lake is drained and it is a lake bed, instead. Although we did enjoy watching the wild turkeys every morning and evening march around the lake bed! All said, we all very much enjoyed our stay!
We just returned from a wonderful stay -- we had four families and each adult couple got their OWN king bedroom with leaving one KING empty and plenty of beds for everyone else!
Its beautiful and the owner is top notch with lighting fast responses via text. We had one issue with the hot tub and he got them fixed ASAP.
The game room and movie room were also extremely enjoyable. We made our meals onsite and the kitchen was well stocked and didn't notice any utensils or items that we 'wished' were available.
We'd absolutely stay there/here again!
This house was such a wonderful place for our large gathering of four families. The kids enjoyed so much the game room and movie room. The bunk rooms were perfect for all the kids too! We loved exploring the grounds and even the lake!
This was a great, roomy cabin for our large family. Had a great game room and movie theater that kept the kids occupied. Spacious kitchen, plenty of room to eat. I’m sure we will use this again
The property was as described, was clean, and had a large amount of electronic and board games along with the pool table and movie room. We rented a boat for a couple of days and the dock was handy and just the right size.
Very well equipped and secluded area for our large group to enjoy. The house has everything you need, from kayaks, life vests, fishing rods, trails, nature, etc…
Robert is a great host!
We rent a different house each year for our large family to meet for vacation. This house was better then we expected. Can’t predict the weather and it ended up raining each day so we weren’t able to swim in the lake that much but kids still used the kayaks and fishing poles. We did everything we planned and had a wonderful trip. We would rent this one again.
Great family vacation spot but couldn’t really enjoy lake as pictured, water down 20 feet in spring
It was spacious and the kitchen was very well equipped. Lots of fun things for kids to do. We did feel like the Lake was useless because of so very little water. Mostly dried up. Would return when/ if lake was up.
Our party of 15 had a great time in this spacious mountain retreat. The large kitchen and dining spaces made for a great thanksgiving celebration and the proximity to pigeon forge gave activity options for our party’s varying interests. If you are looking for a place to accommodate a family retreat, this is for you
We loved the cabin and the loaction. We wanted to get together with our family where we could all be in one place to spend time together and this cabin was perfect.
The house is awesome. It's tucked away in a great location. Lots of activities to do inside as well. We really enjoyed our stay. 10/10 would do it again
Gorgeous property on its own peninsula with amazing views from every window. House has all the amenities available to enjoy a vacation without leaving the property. Paddle boats; games; smart televisions; two refrigerators for large crowds; plus more. I would stay here again!
Our family just spent a week at this home and we enjoyed every second of it! We had children, teen, and adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the outdoor space as well. We used the dock to swim and the kids really enjoyed that. They also enjoyed using the movie room and game room. Our family went to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg a few times, and the ride was very easy. There were plenty of dishes and utensils. There was a Keurig which was very nice, and a second fridge in the game room. We really look forward to visiting again in the future.
This property had the most incredible views. Tons of room and everyone enjoyed the game room and the theatre room. We brought our boat and kayaks and the dock was great for water sports. The kids were so excited about swimming in the lake we never even went to the pool. The host was very responsive and kind. We would love to return.
Our family of 15 spent 5 peaceful days at this house. The outdoor spaces (porch, gazebo, and dock) really added to our enjoyment. The kitchen nook that overlooked the water was a great place to have breakfast/coffee. The larger dining table was a fun area for games and chats. The game room was a blast from the past for those of us who grew up in the 80s. (Note: There is no basement) The grocery store wasn't far away, and there were several restaurants with good food nearby. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. The pantry had seasonings and such previous renters had left. All the showers had a dispenser with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, so no need to pack those. Robert, the owner, was very responsive and a great host.
We were a group of 17 (8 adults and 9 kids age 3-17) and had more than enough room for us to spread out. The location was amazing and very conducive to lounging around and catching up on old times. The house is even nicer in person. On our second day in the property Robert (property manager) reached out to check on us and make sure everything was going well for us making the customer service and overall communication throughout the entire experience top notch. I would highly recommend staying at this property!
Wonderful family & friend vacation in a beautiful setting
Beautiful home, very clean, well taken care of with a lovely view. Tons of space for our group of 17 (6 kids & 11 adults). Actual was better than pictures - Beautiful! Kitchen was well equipped (except short on dish towels), beds were comfortable, community pool was nice. Kids loved the game room & movie room.
Owner needs to look into septic smell in yard near tank. Recommend adding wall hooks in upper bedrooms and bathrooms (&/or outside last bathroom). Owner was very responsive and very nice to work with. Highly recommend.
Not only is this cabin huge...it is secluded within its own little place of peace and serenity. Although the lake was drained for the winter The views are spectacular. Robert was very responsive and overall a great host. My kids loved the outdoor space (there is room to run and go on a hike) and the game room and the large indoor theater was perfect for scary movies. The hot tub was a hit!! Also there are grills and a firepit for outdoor fun. The attractions were about a 25 min drive away. We are already looking to book a week next Holiday Season. We cant wait to come back !!!

Great time with family/friends
Had a great time! Lots of room, nice game room and theater room. Was a little disappointed that the dam had been drained for the winter (understand why, just wasn't aware of it before getting there). Nothing against the house, but we typically like to be closer to Wears Valley, so it was a little further away than we were use to.
