Petit Jean Cliffhouse, Great View Petit Jean Mountain

This beautiful, extremely secluded Cliffhouse retreat on the south brow of Petit Jean Mountain is perfect for a relaxing getaway with family and friends.

Featuring a rock fireplace, big deck, and dining with an amazing view of Ada Valley. The upstairs loft bedroom has a king size bed, with a full bathroom that features a clawfoot tub. The downstairs bedroom has an extremely comfortable king size bed. A fun bunk room has 2 high quality full-size beds and 2 twin beds, with couch and tv/entertainment area.

WE DO NOT ALLOW WEDDINGS, REHEARSAL DINNERS, BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE PARTIES OR OTHER FORMAL GATHERINGS AT THE PROPERTY. House parties (having day guests), unless pre-approved in writing with correct details, are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction and additional fees. We expect guests to keep the beautiful, QUIET nature surroundings that way.

Smoking outside only (believe me, we will smell it) and absolutely NO PETS -- very firm on this, no pets. There is a fire pit but if county is under burn ban, there are NO FIRES allowed on mountain. Violation of these policies will result in a full forfeiture of deposit. You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay. There are several cameras on outside of property (none inside).

This home is set on a beautiful cliff overlooking miles and miles of land below it. We have not reduced the natural beauty of the setting by installing a fence; children and drunk people should have careful supervision to prevent falls. If you choose to rent this location, you take all responsibility for accidents.

If there is snow/ice, utilities could go down. We will make every attempt possible to make it an amazing stay even if you have to disconnect at times during your stay. This is very rare, but be aware, you are on a mountain. No refunds for these circumstances.

Wonderful getaway
The Cliffhouse is in a beautiful setting and is a well kept property. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. The beds were very comfortable but the back deck overlooking the valley was the place to be. We visited Petite Jean Park and this place was the perfect home base. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already talked about future trips.

One of the best stays in Arkansas
We stayed here with family and friends (all girls trip) over the labor day weekend and absolutely enjoyed this cozy cottage with stunning views. The owner was extremely helpful from the beginning till the end of our stay. Beautiful property and I highly recommend this to wveryone.

Incredible Place To Stay!
First time to stay in this amazing home! Super clean, very well maintained & extremely comfortable. Grandkids LOVED the bunk bed/game room and grownups couldn’t get enough of the view. Host is great and sees to every need. Be sure to visit the Coffee House a short distance away. We’ll be back!!

What an incredible stay! The pictures online really do not do this cute little house justice! Stephanie, the host, was so welcoming and helpful. Be sure to stop by the Coffeehouse and say hello! Great coffee and brown sack lunches! The view was beautiful, the king beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept in, and the house was lovely and well appointed. Our teens appreciated the board games and foosball table. 5+ stars!

Beautiful house in the woods
The Cliffhouse is a beautiful property, very true to the pictures. The home is cozy and well appointed. The view is absolutely stunning! It is a short drive to enjoy all that Petit Jean State Park has to offer. Three things you should know: 1)You'll need the instructions to find it. GPS will get you almost there, but not quite. 2) The upstairs bedroom is a loft with no doors. 3) Check out time is prior to10am. None of these things were a problem for our group. We would love to stay there again.

What a gorgeous property in a perfect location. If you are looking for views, a secluded beautiful home, and the convenience of being minutes from the state park trails this is the house for you. Stephanie was kind and accommodating. She checked in with us via text and even gave us some pantry items we forgot! We will be back! We have fallen in love with this area and this home.

Absolute Beauty
This house is amazing. We loved watching the sunrise, cooking on the deck while enjoying the mountain and valley views, watching movies on the huge TV and hiking all over the mountain! It is so peaceful and secluded that we were completely relaxed. Stephanie, the host, was amazing and took care of us. We definitely will come back.

Exit with caution
We had a few hiccups at check-in with the code, but the owner was quick to respond. Property is beautiful and very secluded. After long days of hiking we often ate out and came back late to unwind. We did have some trouble with Netflix- seems like if someone else is using the account you can’t use it. Other than the few minor hiccups our stay was good and we didn’t have any real issues until we checked out. This owner is very particular about her property including the forest beyond the house. I thought we had left the property in great condition, but the owner was upset about some damage she found on the outside of the property further away from the house. There was a lot of accusations that made us uncomfortable. While I did not notice and couldn’t relate to the accusations, I did offer to make it right for her, but ultimately could not make her happy. This was unfortunate. This is a beautiful place, but I would be very careful and observant during your stay. This owner pays close attention to all details on her large property and if anything happens to something on the property during your stay expect a dispute. I have stayed at several properties and this is the first time I have ever been accused of damaging anything. Because of the communications with the owner after I left, I regret staying here.

Absolute Serenity
This house isa one of the most peaceful places to stay. The breathtaking views can be seen from not only the deck, but from the huge living room, kitchen area and the upstairs loft bathroom where you can sit and soak in a beautiful tub. We watched movies,, cooked and played board games at night but during the day enjoyed amazing hikes. It’s a great gateway for a fun weekend and we can not wait to return.

Hidden Gem with a gorgeous view!
The pictures do not do the house justice! The house is beautiful! We had a group of 8 Girl Scouts with 2 adult leaders and there was plenty of room. The bunk/game room was perfect for the girls. The location was super close to all the trails in the park and the owner went above and beyond to help and accommodate us.! We would go back in a minute!
