This is our second time staying at this VRBO. It is a great location, new, and very clean. Near shopping and restaurants. Also like using the sidewalks and trails in the area.
Property was spotless, well-furnished, and with convenient access to the University of Iowa area. Just what my group was looking for when we planned to meet a friend here. Hosts were very responsive and made everything easy to navigate.
Stayed at the Hawkeye Retreat with friends to watch our son’s hockey games. The place was absolutely perfect, clean, as described, in a beautiful new neighbourhood. Our first ever trip to Iowa City and if we return next year we will definitely rebook here.
Place was perfect for our short stay during my son's graduation. Only thing is the beds are "very firm" so not that comfortable and the kitchen sink disposal did not work.
Beautiful townhouse on the outskirts of town. Quiet neighborhood with nice bike/walking paths nearby. Will definitely keep this on my short list for future stays in the area! Very comfortable and conveniently located.
The condo was very clean and had great amenities. The location is close to the university. Communication was quick and informative. We will definitely stay here for future visits if it’s available.
Nicely decorated with everything we needed during our stay. Short drive to the University Hospital. Close to shopping and restraurants. Host were quick to respond to any questions we had. We would certainly stay here again.
Absolutely wonderful property for a small family to stay for a visit to the area. Very clean, safe and quiet neighborhood and close to Iowa City and Coralville. Near anything needed. Highly Recommend!
This is our 2nd year in a row to stay in this beautiful home for a Hawkeye football weekend. Works out beautifully for our family! Thank for for clean and well appointed home for the weekend!
Very nice property. We were there with my daughter and husband over the Christmas holiday visiting my other daughter who is in profession school at the University of Iowa. Property owner was very responsive.
Clean and in a quiet neighborhood, the property was easy to find. Access was secured through tech: Personal access codes so no worries about former guests having access. You will need to drive to most activities you have come to town for, but Coralville and campus are easy to get to. Hosts responded quickly to questions. Would stay again.
This stay was by far one of best rentals we have ever stayed in through VRBO. Christine was very helpful host in answering all of our questions along with making it possible for us to watch the Super Bowl on 2/11/2024. Easy access, beautiful kitchen, bedrooms each having their own separate bathrooms and close to shopping and restaurants was most definitely a plus for us. This was everything we needed for our 3 days trip away with friends. Thank you Christine!
Beautiful property inside- close to grocery and sports area son Campus in quiet neighborhood. Nice open first floor and good size bedrooms. Perfect for our stay for the Michigan Iowa Game. 10-15 min drive to main campus. Would stay here again!
We stayed with another couple, parents of our daughter’s roommate/best friend, for family weekend at the U of I. The home was well described, beautiful, comfortable, thoughtful touches, and close to amenities. We will definitely consider this location first for all future visits to the area. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality and communication.
A couple days out from a bicycle race, core4, in Iowa City, my friends and I decided to get a place to stay. This place, looked to good to be true, popped up. As no dogs were coming with us this trip, it seemed ideal. Booking was easy, communication throughout was great and the place was as described if not a bit nicer. If we come back to Iowa City, for any reason, this property will be the first I look to book.

About the host

Im Christine, I grew up in Iowa and attended the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!). I now live in the Chicago suburbs with my husband and our 3 daughters. I frequently come back to Iowa to visit and now have a wonderful place to call home when we visit.
Why they chose this property
I searched for a short term rental for my family when we were visiting. When I realized there wasn't anything that I wanted to stay in, I decided to create my own. For travelers like myself who want a nicer place to stay while in town. I love our condo and hope you do as well!
What makes this property unique
2 large and comfortable beds with nice linens (Great sheets matter!) Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispenser (no need to carry it) Higher quality pillows. Keurig coffee maker with a starter of k cups and creamers provided. (Because waking up that first morning without coffee is no fun.) In a safe and quiet neighborhood just minutes from the shopping in Coralville, restaurants, and the University.
