Great location.

We loved the location of the house! It is so close to the beach! We had issues with the door code and TVs in the house. There was also some trash left in some rooms and closets from previous guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home, great location

Overall great home, fun beach decor, had most of the amenities we needed. Loved having two bedrooms on the main floor for my parents and upstairs separate for my family. The deck was great to sit and watch the beach/gulf with a beverage. Great beach location, the beach was not crowded. Cleanliness of the home needed a little more attention but something that can be easily addressed.

Wonderful house just a few steps to the waves.

We’ve stayed in several houses in Ft. Morgan. This is definitely one of our favorites, even as a townhouse. I don’t think we’ve ever been closer to the water. We were actually supposed to stay at a house on the bayside but had to relocate last minute. So glad we did! House was laid out perfectly. Plenty of room for everybody. We couldn’t really tell it was a townhouse except for footsteps occasionally…no talking or tv noises. WiFi was great! We had to call about a couple things, but maintenance came quickly to fix the issues. Definitely recommend Vacasa & Sea Oats W!

Awesome beachfront rental

The rental was very clean and Vacasa staff were very responsive to our texts. We had 5 adults and 2 small children and there was plenty of space for all. No pantry space in the kitchen but there’s a bakers rack by the dining table that suffices. Wifi isn’t good, so don’t expect to get work done quickly. You can’t beat the location. It was about 20 minutes to a big grocery store but we only made that drive once. The guys played golf nearby and we found some unique places for dinner around Fort Morgan. Good seafood! We really enjoyed our stay here and would rent it again!

We arrived to our vacation rental and had difficulties with getting in with our door code but were promptly assisted with this challenge through texting. Upon initial inspection we found our rental very unclean. We sent pictures and made a phone call to management. Management came out to our site immediately and rectified the situation. A cleaning crew came over right away and did a great job cleaning while our family went down to enjoy the beach . We were very worried that the rest of our vacation would be met with other challenges but are happy to report that was not the case. We had a wonderful time and created many beautiful memories at this vacation destination. We had a beautiful view with an extremely short walk to the beach. Our recommendations to continue to improve this locations amenities would be to supply more toilet paper, a griddle and potentially a gas grill for ease of outdoor grilling. Otherwise this property had an abundance of kitchen supplies and cooking equipment. Thank you to management and vacasa for helping us enjoy our family vacation and creating wonderful memories along the way.

Fort Morgan Beachfront Getaway

The property was well-maintained and comfortable. The listing didn't mention that it was a double, and we all prefer the privacy of a single family home rather than having balcony space that is shared, separated by a wooden partition. We asked specifically about beach towels being available, and were told they were, which was not the case. I called Vrbo, who said they'd notify Vacasa to bring some, but that never happened. We enjoyed the beach front access and the location on Fort Morgan. The wide, white sandy beach is the best! The house is spacious and clean. All in all my family and I enjoyed our visit very much.

Didn't meet expectations

We loved the location but the house was a bit disappointing, blinds were broken, door knob was missing on twin bedroom door, could've used more bath towels (one per person), smelled musty when we first arrived, light about twin bed shower didn't work, could've used dish cloths/towels to clean dishes/counters, more toilet paper (6 rolls - 11 people - 5 days), extra pillows didn't have pillowcases, no extra blankets for beds. Next time I'll stay at a hotel on the beach.

I had no idea it was a duplex. I had no idea that when I booked with VRBO I was actually booking with Vacasa. The house itself is in need of major repairs, windows and outside deteriorating. The worst is dealing with Vacasa, they are ruining the rental industry with their monopoly.

Loved the house and location.

When we pulled up we were concerned because the outside was not clean, a tarp piled in corner, an old dish Tv rusting by the grill, the grill still had dirty tin foil on it, a piece of broken wood with a nail sticking out on deck etc. The inside of home was great. Clean, well decorated etc. The mgmt company offered to immediately send someone out to correct everything but we had pretty much done it already. We loved loved our week there. Home was great. We loved the access to beach with our dogs. My favorite spot was on the balcony of the master early in the morning with coffee. We will return for sure! My only suggestion is maybe provide some form of shade on main deck. Umbrella etc. it was in full sun and sometimes you wanted to sit out there with shade.

Please Read Before You Book This Property!!

First, this property is actually a VACASA property that used VRBO to post this rental. Vacasa is a company out of Oregon that uses a local rental company to handle the management and they WILL NOT give you a name or phone number to contact them. Ok, here are the facts… The location is absolutely phenomenal! However, this duplex is in rough shape. It is very dirty and needs a lot of attention. I made a list of some of the issues. The main issue for me — washing machine did not work! We had 10 adults staying for 5 nights (Tuesday- Sunday) with no way to wash any towels or anything. I called and reported the issue many times and someone finally came by late Thursday and concluded that the part to repair the washer was over $200 and would need special approval to repair. We never heard from anyone again. Please note- Vacasa said they would refund me $100 for my inconvenience. Here are a few things I wrote down that are broken or just need attention: Washing machine, dirty sheets on the beds and no way to wash, carpets are filthy, garbage disposal doesn’t work, blinds are broken, no light bulbs in lamps, fire alarm batteries need to be replaced(beeped until we took it down), large paint buckets and construction equipment at front entrance where you park, huge work ladders inside duplex and outside on the back deck, mold in bathrooms, door handles missing,1 bathroom shower didn't work, and I do have pictures, but no way to post. Very disappointing for $ to rent.

Family visit

Size was what we needed. Kitchen was well equipped The unit was shabby and in need of repair. There was a leak in the ceiling of the main room. When we reported it a repairman came quickly Stairway carpet was dirty. Bed in master bedroom was the tallest I have ever seen making it difficult to get into and mattress was a pillow top which was very uncomfortable. Master shower floor tile needs to be replaced.

Great location

The size and location was perfect for our needs. For the price we paid we expected the house to be cleaner. We were told they would come and dump sand and old water out if small pool for feet no one ever showed up . The outside of home not taken good care of.

Precious Moments!

We loved having so much living area. The kitchen was well stocked. The fridge was large . The bathrooms were updated and the cabinets were very clean. The deck area was perfect for the family and our pets… the swing was perfect. The springs on the swing were pretty rusty but that comes with being a stone’s throw from the ocean! What a view! We hope to return next October!

Solid Beach Rental

Overall very solid - property largely as described. Could use some maintenance to address broken door knobs and water damage/stains on main floor ceiling. Amazing white sand beach. Water had loads of jelly fish the week we were there. Call to property manager was addressed same day. Ideal layout for a 2 family (8 people) beach vacation. Would stay here again.

Issues with house

When we got here the place looked great except for the stair way which is no big deal. It was pretty dirty. When we wiped the counters and tables with Clorox wipes we got a lot of dirt. There was also old dog food and sand under the couch. There were much bigger issues. It was a rainy week and we fought water the whole week. The ceiling leaked onto the couch and floor A LOT. 7 or 8 towels to get it up. This happened more than 5 times. Water kept coming in through the wall at the bottom under the window nearest the patio door. Same thing in one of the bedroom and the kitchen window. Water poured into the kitchen window constantly when it rained so that had to be cleaned up every time. This is where the coffee pot plugs in which is a safety concern. The internet is almost unusable because it is so slow. We lost tv on Wednesday, called but no one ever came. It looks like the wind blew one of the satellite dishes off the house. The air downstairs doesn't cool that well in the bedrooms even when the vents are open. In general this is a great house and I would recommend it to anyone if all of these issues we had were fixed. We had to spend far to much time cleaning water up and washing towels as a result of bad leaks. If it rains a lot you will hear about it from the next guest. I only took a few pics here and there.

Beach Trip 2022

I loved being with family and having the direct beach access. The home had the perfect room for family of 10. You really couldn’t beat it. It is such a beautiful beach. This is why it got 4 stars. Otherwise, it was not expected for the price spent to stay at a home that was not cleaned thoroughly before we stayed. Air vents were dusty and moldy, and under beds were very dusty. Toilets were moldy around the rim, and showers were moldy around the tile floors. Lots of needed repairs to the home also. To be charging the price that was charged, the house needs a lot of updates and cleaning.
