Do your thing at Dune Our Thing! Located in the peaceful Fort Morgan area and featuring a view of the Gulf, dog-friendly Dune Our Thing can sleep up to 12 people. Guests enjoy covered parking, tile flooring in living areas and carpeting in bedrooms. A large, wraparound deck outfitted with chairs invites guests to sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the beach as they watch the sunset in the evening. The light-filled interior is decorated in a quaint coastal style, with comfortable seating throughout. The master bath features a Jacuzzi and a walk-in shower, and there is balcony access from each level.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Dune Our Thing
The home itself was great. Loved that each bedroom has a dedicated bathroom. As far as amenities, we were provided with the wrong WiFi login information. Lucky we found an admin name/password on the router itself. WiFi was still very slow and basically useless unless you were in the living room. That being said, the living room TV was the only one we were able to watch. All four bedrooms are only setup with “live cast” which we could not get to work. We had to use personal hotspots so that the kids could watch their iPads since we couldn’t get the TVs to work. As far as other amenities, bring your own beach chairs and beach cart. None of the items in the storage room appeared to be in working order.

PROS: The house was close to the beach. I liked that all of the bedrooms had bathrooms. Home stayed cool despite temps near 100 everyday. Master on 2nd floor had a comfy bed and cute LED nightstands. There was no propane grill on the property on Saturday when we checked in like advertised, but one was delivered toward the beginning of the week after I complained. Plenty of closet and storage space. CONS: Home could definitely be better cleaned. WiFi info needs updated because it isn’t accurate. Even once you get it connected, it is super slow. Only the living room TV functions as it should and some won’t even turn on. Pans for cooking have deep scratches in the coating making them leak chemicals into food. Bathroom on left on 2nd floor has some issues with orange water coming out of bathtub faucet. Dryer vent has a HUGE hole in the bottom and much of the lint just goes into night through and that’s a FIRE HAZARD! I would not suggest leaving the home while it’s running.

This was a nice 3-story home. We had a very enjoyable stay. It is a very short walk to the beach which made it really nice. We would love to come back again.

September Vacation
Close to the beach and great views. But house needs some fixing. Oven not clean, garbage disposal backed up and messed up dishwasher. Cabinet facings were coming off and the coffe maker and toaster were old and disgusting. Used qtip left on upstairs floor and rugs needed a good cleaning or better yet replaced. Living room furniture was not comfortable. Front screen door did not close properly so we could not have it open for a breeze or the view and it let flies in if you left door open. Have stayed at other beach homes managed by other smaller companies and thought this would be top notch.

So relaxing
The house was perfect. The location was amazing, just a minutes walk to the beach. The house was beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for the kids to spread out. The kitchen was stocked well. The mattresses were just so-so but we liked the amount of beds for our large group at the house. The views off of the balconies were nice and on a quiet morning you could hear the waves. As for Vacasa, we have a few complaints. It is listed that the house has a gas grill. Only charcoal so plan accordingly. Also, the freezer wasn’t working and when I contacted Vacasa, they said they would put in a ticket and send someone out. They never did. Our frozen foods melted. We didn’t follow up again because we were in vacation mode and busy having fun. A few melted containers of ice cream wasn’t the end of the world. But we would have appreciated them sending someone to check on it.

The house was perfect!! The view was great. Even tho we had a really rocky start to our vacation Vacasa stepped up and made things right and saved our vacation. We were a little disappointed that the house was not on the beach But the house itself made up for that. Thank You again Vacasa!!
