Really great views and super nice house.
The place is nice and big with three great decks to enjoy the million dollar views. The downstairs is like a whole separate apartment with a pool table, bathroom, full kitchen and its own deck. Great for giving extra privacy for multiple families or couples. The driveway and yard are pretty small. Two vehicles at most and no trailers. The road is really steep but I was able to take the dog on some nice walks because the cross streets nearby are reasonably flat but still good exercise! So we did have the misfortune of being there for monster Hurricane Helene the day before we left. The house is sturdy and on high ground so we never felt in any danger. As expected in any major storm the power went out. We were able to cook using the propane grill on the back deck and the food stayed cool enough in the fridge until we left. There were really beautiful long range views of the weather moving through the valleys. Maggie Valley fared pretty well in the storm. We were able to go to town the night before we left and buy gas and snacks. Passing through Asheville on the way home we realized how lucky we were to be in Maggie Valley instead of the low areas. Most likely there will never be a storm this bad in our lifetimes in the Smoky Mountains, but it does bring to light certain reminders for any time you are in the mountains. Bring lots of flashlights, rechargeable lanterns, first aid kit etc. Have a good supply of food and water. Top off your gas whenever you can.

beautiful home with great view
This property was an amazing place! The view was unbelievable. The inside property was very spacious and beautiful. I did not appreciate being informed that the cleaning lady had a right to charge us more if we did not clean before we left the property. The property was certainly not spick and span when we arrived. That being said, I would highly recommend this property.

Bear view
It was just 2 of us older ladies and we stayed upstairs the whole time . One of the other ladies which would have been the 3rd lady had to cancel . Good thing to because that down stair king bed is as so high up off the floor none of us would have been able to get in it with out steps or off it without falling. Every thing upstairs was awesome and comfortable. Nice kitchen to cook in . Outdoor rockers need to be sanded down and shellac again. The old shellac came off all over our clothing and we played hell trying to get it off our backsides just before we were leaving for a dinner out! Not a lot of room for more than one vehicle really . I had a Honda van and was barely able to back up in drive to pull out forward. You would need to back out in the street I feel if there were 2 vehicles in the drive . ( pulling out also in a curve so be careful of vehicles coming around . It was a clean nice home and us 2 older ladies enjoyed it .

What a spot!
We had a wonderful time on our ski weekend! The location, the view and the house itself all exceeded our expectations - from the exciting drive up the mountain to the house to waking up above the clouds at sunrise, our stay was restful, peaceful and easy!

Very Nice Home With Sweeping Views
This home is situated high above Maggie Valley Club with sweeping views of the mountains. The main floor has an open floor plan with an attractive updated kitchen, two couches on either side of the fireplace, a large dining table facing magnificent views, as well as a king size bedroom and a queen size bedroom, both with en suite bathrooms. The couches, though attractive, were ok, but not real comfortable. The downstairs sitting area with bar and pool table has more comfortable sofas, included with the second king size master. Steve, the host, was extremely kind and helpful. The major downside to this property is the very limited and awkward parking situation. We had two midsize cars which we required difficult maneuvering to park.

Great experience!
Great communication with owner. Excellent view from all rooms. I love induction cooktops and have never found one in a rental - very nice! Great restaurants in area. Loved Singletree, Haywood BQ, Frog Level Brewing and Ascot Club in Waynesville. Also Beer Waters, Catrina’s Cantina, and J Arthur in Maggie Valley. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us!

WONDERFUL
We were very satisfied. The house was spotless. Ample supplies from kitchen, beds and baths. The view could not be beat. I was able to communicate with the property manager immediately for a very minor issue. He instantly responded and offered a repairman to come and fix the very minor issue. Such a GREAT experience in this house. The only 2 things my family and I could rate less than a 5 star is, the small yard for pets could have been mowed and also maybe on the website where it says 4 car parking, maybe mention they need to be small cars. We have a large truck and one other SUV and it was a tight squeeze. Other than those 2 things, we were VERY happy with is property and Manager. Thank you for sharing you home with us.

Lovely
The views are amazing. The property was wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The location is perfect to little shoppes and local restaurants. Only 30 minutes to the casino. Communication with the owner was great. He checked on us often and quickly responded to any questions we had.

Gorgeous view
Walking in the front door we were greeted with a wonderful view of the Great Smokies. Every morning was a different view of them with the clouds. Parking a Silverado truck and a small car was a challenge with no access to garage but otherwise great house. We’ll be back!

Stunning views
Wonderful older home that has been updated and still has older charm. The views from the porch rivaled any we seen while out on excursions. We could of never left the house and been happy with our vacation. Any minor issues were fixed immediately and really weren't the owners fault. Will be recommending to friends and staying here again! *Recommend panther creek horseback trail ride. * lake junaluska has a really nice pool you can swim in and mini golf for small fee and a lake you can kayak or paddle board for cheap. Very beautiful. Even has an ice cream store

Incredible stay - AWESOME Sunrises!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and an easy drive up the road. All was as described and the view did not dissapoint! The home is well equipped with all you need for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table as well as the XLARGE TV upstairs! We had plenty of room for the 4 of us to spread out or hang out together. The Sunrise views are truly amazing! We would stay again in future!

Perfect Spring Break/Easter
Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us!! My daughters and I spent a week at Bearview to celebrate their spring break/Easter which also happened to be my oldest daughter’s 15th birthday. We were absolutely blown away with the house and the location. It’s the most perfect place for relaxation. Their favorite was the hot tub with that breath taking view!! I loved that it had two different living areas so we felt that we had our own space on our own vacations but we were all still together. We fell in love with Bearview so much that we didn’t even leave for the first few days. We are already wanting to book it again in the fall!

4/1-4/5/23 @ Bearview Estate
We had a wonderful stay at Bearview Estate. The property was clean with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Everything in the house was in good working order. There were plenty towels, linens, etc. The view from the living room window was fabulous. The location was close to nearby attractions such as Smoky Mountains National Park, etc. I strongly recommend this property to others interested in visiting Maggie Valley, NC.

Relaxing Stay!
We had our family of 7 at Bearvue and had a great visit to Maggie Valley. The house is older, but updated where needed! Amazing views and I am sure even better in Summer/Fall. It’s convenient to town, restaurants, Asheville and Cherokee! Steve was a gracious host and checked in by text during our stay to make sure everything was great for us. Overall, a great stay and would book again!

Nothing short of heaven on earth!! One of a kind!
THE VIEW!!! IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The hosts really went above and beyond to make this mountain house one of a kind!! Spotless!! The kitchen!!! If you love to cook you will be wowed! The oven cooks bacon faster than you can fry an egg and boil water!!! Seriously! The house is so comfortable you won’t wanna leave.. we didn’t! Literally stayed in for days! But so close to everything if you do want to venture! We throughly enjoyed the house! And headin down to the basement made us feel like we went somewhere! Darts, pool table, tv, grillin.. hot tub! Just amazing!! Eat, sleep, enjoy the view..repeat! We’ve been on a lot of vacations and this is the first vacation that we came home rested!!! Not to mention it’s hard to go on vacation and feel just as at home if not better than at home!! Can not thank the host enough! AND we will be back!!! The Barnhills
