Not the best neighborhood/complex
This property is located a little over a mile from the last place I stayed in Houston when going to MD Anderson but it was like staying in a whole different world. There were homeless people blocking the street and shoplifting beer at the Sprouts across the street. The parking deck exit gate is always open so anyone can drive in and the doors into the building are constantly propped open because the key fob entry doesn’t work. On weekends it sounds like racing in the street and you can constantly hear people talking and laughing outside the window and into the late hours of the night. People in the building have dogs that you can hear barking in the morning. I usually cook 3 meals a day while in Houston and bring my own skillets since most rentals cookware is usually in bad shape. This place had next nothing to use and no coffee pot. Paper towels and toilet paper was limited. If you will be eating out while there this shouldn’t be an issue for you. This location has a prime hub on the ground floor for you to get Amazon deliveries. Parking is on the 6th and 7th floor and the elevator only goes to the 6th floor. Don’t try to get away with parking on another floor. With the gate always open the tow truck driver scans the deck often as we ran into him more than once. The beds was okay but the towels looked dirty. It seemed closed to the stadium but Not sure I would walk through this area to get there. The couch is a futon and very firm, not comfortable at all.
