Great spot to Relax

Perfect spot for relaxing with family! The creek entertained the youngest while others enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Great place to stay and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after hiking Chimney Rock. We would definitely consider this home again in the future!

The house was perfect for my family. Each bedroom having a king or queen bed was exactly what we needed. I really loved the wrap around porch and secluded feeling yet I could walk to the lake or pool.

Great views, location and property

We were the first people to stay in the property and it was perfect! Very accommodating to our pets! This is the perfect getaway for a mountain trip with a gas fireplace and creek in the backyard. Would 100% stay again!

Amazing house & location

From the moment we walked in, we LOVED it! Both the owner & property manager were great to work with & very responsive. The house is immaculate and has a beautiful layout, fire pit & view! Easy access to the resort amenities. Rumbling Bald has beautiful facilities. We had a wonderful vacation!

Cabin on the stream

We had 6 adults & 4 children ages 5,6,7& 9. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked & it was great having 2 ovens. Not to mention everyone loved the hot tub. We will definitely be back again.

Great place to stay

We had a great stay at Toni’s property in Lake Lure. We have five adults and four kids ages 23 months to 6. There was plenty of space for everyone. The deck was a great spot to hang out and gated for the kids. Three of the bedrooms were downstairs which also had a retractable gate. The kitchen had what we needed to cook meals. The bar with seating is table height which was perfect. Great place to stay.

Solitude and Peace

The cabin is so spacious and absolutely beautiful. For the 7 of us we never felt cramped. The creek at the bottom of the property was so relaxing. As secluded as it was, the Rumbling Bald resort it sits within was a delight with the waterfront on Lake Lure. Oh, and the pool table caused a lot of late night fun! Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Wooded Location

Large beautiful home with plenty of space to spread out, including an expansive wrap-around deck area. Loved having coffee on the back deck while listening to the stream out back bubble it's way past! Very secluded and large wooded yard where we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and roasting s'mores. Having access to the community beach, marina and courts helped to make it a perfect vacation. Our host was very responsive and helpful! She had a technician there quickly to solve an AC problem.

Perfect house and location

This was our family’s 7th annual vacation getaway, taken at locations all over the US. The house, location and amenities were unanimously voted as our best one yet, and that’s saying something. The backyard bordering the creek with a large fire pit area drew both the kids and adults like a magnet. We all stayed out there way past our bedtimes! Communication with Toni was excellent and prompt. All in all, we had a great time.

Wonderful getaway!

This place was perfect for our family getaway! Very close to the beach, pool and other amenities! Hot tub was an amazing added bonus for an evening soak. Luckily everyone in the house went to bed around the same time and got up in the morning around the same time. If that is not the case with your group, makes sure the last to rise and the first to go to bed stays in the master bedroom. You can easily hear most movement upstairs from the lower bedrooms. Other than that, the perfect house and we would love to stay again!

Wonderful trip!

We had a great week away at this cabin in the woods! It is a perfect gathering place for a large family. The house was clean and nicely decorated with everything we needed and space for all. We enjoyed campfires and sitting by the creek in the big backyard, the hot tub, cooking good meals in the nice kitchen, a jigsaw puzzle on the screened porch, and walks in the cool woods. The neighborhood amenities were convenient and friendly to renters. I swam in the lap pool, and we rented kayaks and SUP boards and went on the boat tour. Families were having fun on the lake shore and playing tennis, golf, and mini golf. Our kids liked the indoor pool, and our little dog came and we found it friendly for him too. Outside the neighborhood, the Cedar Creek stables trail ride and Canopy Ridge farm zip line were fun. We also went to Chimney rock and hiked. The grocery store and town are a bit far, but you don’t need to leave much with all that to do!

Great fall long weekend stay

We really enjoyed this property. Beautiful house with plenty of room and everything you need for a great stay. Loved the wrap around porch. The fireplace and the huge kitchen. The fall colors were amazing. Would highly recommend this property.

Amazing and Beautiful

Perfect location. Beautifully kept. Perfect for our family and other families. Loved every second of staying there. Easy drive down to the beach and pool. The kids loved playing the creek. This is a diamond property.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

Amazing cabin

Had a little hiccup with the check in process, and we did not have internet during our stay (apparently someone had placed blankets over the internet receiver). The grill could use replacing. Other than that our stay was wonderful. Location inside Rumbling Bald was nice and proximity to outdoor activities (including access to Buffalo Creek trails from inside the neighborhood) was excellent. The stream, the yard and the outdoor space was impeccable. Furnishings were stately and in great condition, cabin was clean and there was plenty of room. Would definitely stay here again!

I chose this home because of the amazing setting. The good news is that it is easy to get to. Plus I get all the amenities of the resort. But it feels like I am in the middle of the mountains with no one around.
