This house felt like a home away from home! Everything we needed was readily available, and the host couldn’t be nicer. The cottage itself is adorable, and really makes you feel like you’re in a true beach town. The easy walk to the beach was unparalleled, and the beach itself was a dream. This is definitely a place we’ll definitely come back to - and we highly recommend it to all!
This was my second visit toMaushop and I hope to make it annual. This little condo is a great location!

I’ve stayed in one of these cottages owned before by the same owner same exact floor plan. It was great location was good. I love the neighborhood. I’ve stayed there multiple times really enjoyed my two weeks. The weather was fantastic.
Quaint neighborhood. Perfect to rest and recharge. Steps to the private beach and a short drive to Mashpee Commons. We loved pomponnesset inn for drinks
We really enjoyed the house, and the surroundings. This region is beautiful, and is perfect for outdoor sports in a very safe and inspiring nature neighbourhoods.
Scammer of some sort, no remorse in time of mourning
I was in town for my brothers funeral service. This was an extremely tough time for my family and myself, as he was only 37 and this was very unexpected. We arrived and the rental was dirty. Damp folded towels, stinky trash just sitting there. The “host” has been non communicative, and even started making accusations that we showed up too early, and even claimed we brok e the toilet when I asked if they found my boyfriends gaming system that was left behind (Nintendo switch)
Do not rent from this conartist. I doubt this is even his property. He had no empathy for us in our time of loss, and made our stay worse. There was sand all over, used soap in the shower, rugs have never been cleaned, bed half made. Stay elsewhere, also customer service from VRBO has been sub par. They do not use individuals based in the states and they too are argumentative. I usually don’t leave bad reviews or complain - but this was just TOO much. All we wanted was maybe the cleaning fee waived, instead we’ve only gotten more disrespect.
We have been coming to this area for 5 yrs and these villas are small but perfect for a long weekend or week vacation. It’s perfect for 2 people. We’ll be back but please buy new sheets! They were rough and not able to be slept on.
This Mashpee cottage has everything you need for a visit. Ocean view from the back patio, nice neighborhoods and walking trails, spacious sun room, high ceilings, and more! Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Scott was very responsive and information was clear. I would like to stay here again. Thank you!
Loved the cottage but was extremely disappointed in the wifi. 0 to 1 bar.
This is a quintessential New England Cottage with grey shaker shingles, clapboard siding, and a cathedral ceiling. Inside has just enough space for a couple to relax after a day of combing the beach or browsing the nearby shops. There is a cozy patio with a clear view of the ocean in the distance. You are steps from the beach with spectacular sunrises and views of a moonlit ocean. Although we enjoyed the property and the area very much, there are a few things that could be improved. Please be aware, the cottages are very close to each other, and unfortunately, we had an annoying beeping sound next door. We contacted the owner about this, but it wasn't resolved--and we know it wasn't the owner's fault--so we eventually got used to it! Because of the close proximity to the neighbors, we would have preferred a window covering on the back door. Also be aware that there isn't a Keurig coffee pot, so you'd have to buy coffee for a traditional coffeemaker, which isn't a major issue. Next, clearer instructions for renters would be helpful--where the parking pass is located, turning on the heat, trash disposal, where the linens needed to go before we left, and more clarification about the key code (we figured it out eventually). The lack of wifi signal was a concern for us, as we have a disabled son and weren't able to stay in contact with him. But the pros outweigh the cons. The cottage was kept immaculate, and many conveniences are provided. The furniture is especially comfortable. And most activities are all a short drive away. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience!
Cute bungalow: master, detached bath/shower, living room, kitchen and a single bed in a nook area with a view of the ocean. Well equipped, clean and comfortable! One block from the Ocean. Can’t go wrong here.
We loved our stay at Scott’s place in Maushop Village. Scott was very responsive and helpful. The cottage was cozy and sweet and it was nice to be able to walk to the marketplace and beach, which are both very close. Would definitely return!
