Our family had a fantastic time here! The building is very spacious and comfortable. The huge deck has a great view of the wooded hill down to the lake with partial lake views. The kitchen is nice and has all of the amenities. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Inside the home was great- A/C worked very well on hot day. As other reviews note- this is NOT a private home- it’s two houses connected- the left side is what you are renting. Two bathrooms are very small. I would NOT recommend this for groups in the summer. The home is located in a very tight subdivision with houses on all sides. We had ten adults (note they require you to pay more per person after 10) outside at a bon fire both nights talking - no music. The police were called due to noise both nights- police found nothing wrong at the house both nights. The home does NOT have lake front access ( as noted in other reviews) there is a non maintained staircase that leads down to a non maintained dock with a DO NOT ENTER sign (there are signs all though out the house of rules also).
Home was nice but unable to enjoy it with a group of adults.
This house is incredible and provides ample sleeping options for large groups. The kitchen was stoked with necessities for cooking. Our favorite part was the back deck & views it provides. It’s a beautiful home with so much to offer!
Rented lodge for 2 nights, for 8 adults to stay, came from out of town to attend a family event. Lodge is large, warm and inviting -very rustic. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. Loved pool table, dart board, formal dining room, great room with big screen TV and back porch. Little difficult to find at first on winding back road and lake access was farther then we thought, but overall good experience.
A great home for our son’s wedding weekend. We had plenty of space for our immediate family to relax and visit in between festivities. It is a beautiful property, and highly recommend!
This property checks all the boxes: massive house, fantastic location, historic charm, tons to do, fully stocked, and best of all a great and responsive host. Our stay couldn’t have gone more smoothly, and our family had a fantastic time. Don’t bother looking elsewhere, this property has no equal within 100 miles!
This place is absolutely incredible for multiple guests to hang out and relax. A large floor plan, a huge deck, full kitchen, giant TV room and a pool table.
We had such a fun time hanging out listening to music and playing games. You won't regret booking here.
There's so much to say! We loved the cabin itself. It's very charming and comfortable, perfect amenities, beautiful views, amazing deck and property overall. The owner was easy to work with and communication was great before and during our stay. The location is close to everything you need! The pool table and dart board were fun! We definitely recommend a sound machine for sleeping since the floors do creak, but that's to be expected in a log cabin. Overall a wonderful trip in a beautiful home, perfect for a large group.
I rented this house for my daughters wedding in Holly. I had my family stay here. They LOVED IT! Beds were great, views very AMAZING and we had room for everyone! I would definitely rent this again!
Really enjoyed our stay. Dan, the owner was VERY responsive to any inquiries. Beds were very comfortable. As this is a rustic cabin, important to know that the walls are thin and the floors very creaky - part of the charm but not for light sleepers. Lake view is lovely but not really for swimming or lake activities. Important to know that the house pictured is actually 2 properties, not all one. Pool table and great room were great for our family gathering. Deck was amazing as well. Wish we had been able to stay longer to enjoy the outdoor fire pit.
This cabin was extremely beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay! Dan was excellent about getting back to me with answers to questions I had. One thing to note is that the neighbors don't seem to like that the property is rented out, as it seemed like there may have been noise complaints called in when we were just outside sitting by the fire and talking, not even with music playing. Just something to keep in mind if your group plans on staying up past 11pm! Other than that, it was a great stay.
Idyllic setting with tons of room and beautiful view
There were 15 of us staying at the lodge with plenty of sleeping accommodations. The beds were very comfortable, everything was neat and tidy and clean. It would be nice to have a third bedroom but we managed with two. All of the furnishings are top-notch except bedside lamps are needed in the bedrooms. We loved the billiards table and the huge dining room table. The kitchen was roomy for preparing meals and we did a lot of that. We brought cornhole boards and played games on the side yard, used the fire pit (You have to supply your own firewood which was fine.), And we mostly spent all of our time out on the expansive deck which overlooks the lake area. The only problem I had was in communication with the owner. It sometimes took one or two days to get answers back to questions I presented. Overall, it's an absolutely beautiful old Lodge, very comfortable and we had a grand time.
We stayed at the lodge over Gourth of July weekend and could not have been happier! The place is even prettier than the pictures. The beds were all extremely comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the owner was great communicating with us with every question asked.
The view of the lake is beautiful and we will absolutely stay here the next time we are in town!
Book this property, you will be glad you did!
We stayed with friends and the house is great, had everything we needed for our quick stay. Great property, and the patio was huge. The only bummer would be not having direct lake access but everything else was awesome.

House is spotless, everything is organized, poor communication with owner,
The house is clean, nice location , quiet neighborhood, however a lot of features was eliminated from the house such as reaching to the lake, kitchenware was not enough and poor communication with owner. He doesn’t respond to messages or calls unless you reach to him multiple times . He live next to this house and you feel you have watchdog
I decided to do an overnight with some friends and our partners to round out my birthday week. Everything was perfect. The ambiance, the energy in the home, the essentials that you need to cook and entertain. Plenty of space and built in entertainment via the pool table, darts, television and outdoor deck and patio. You don’t need to bring anything except a change of clothes and food. Great property! And super nice host!
