Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect with ski in/ski out right in front of a gondola. Perfect Location
This unit had everything you could need. Extra pillows, blankets, even foam pillows. The location was wonderful and the building was quiet, even during spring break. My only complaint would be the mattress in the main bedroom. It was not comfortable at all. Even with being exhausted from skiing, we had restless nights.

Property was very nice. Elevator was slow and busy. The room itself was dated with old furniture and old beds and bedding that need updating. Otherwise it was great

Unit 3015 Lone Eagle
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental unit was great over. The only problems experienced was the blow up mattress has a hole in it and the dish washer leaked water all week and progressively got worse. I’ve stayed at Lone Eagle before and it’s been great every time.

Great property, property management could be better
Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a highly stressful time getting to the rental due to unforeseen issues with the i70. Thankfully the rental was easy to park and get into. However, the property management was very unempathetic. We were basically in the unit for less than 12 hours and their communication about check out was confusing, more stressful, and of course they charged us more for checking out past 10 am (!) which is a crazy early checkout time.

great time
We had a lovely time slope-side at Keystone. After reading previous reviews, we thought the place would be a little dumpy, but that wasn't the case at all. Everything was great except for the broken elevator (which has apparently been broken for a long time). This unit was on the second floor, so we had to walk everything up two stories from the basement garage. But we loved the back patio, and the heated pool and hot tub, where we met a number of other interesting people. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen which had everything we needed. We loved the ski locker room, so we could keep our skies just off the slopes. We would definitely return.

Location was perfect for skiing
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was awesome. We have 4 kids so the Elevator being broken and having to walk up and down the stairs was a lot. The dishwasher leaked water all over the floor. The shower door handle was broken. It just seemed like nobody cares to fix the little things broken in the condo. Check out is also 10am which seems a little early and they charge you $20 and hour to stay later. Overall we would stay in this building again but try a different unit.

Ski-in, Ski-out at a Reasonable Price
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Lone Eagle condos for the last 4 or so times we've skied Keystone. Lone Eagle spoils you! It's perfect for ski-in, ski-out convenience, and which is great with a group & kids. I'm glad our unit was on the second floor, as the elevator was not working (and seemingly has been on the fritz since July based on other reviews; hope the HOA resolves this soon). It also seemed that the hot tub was having problems with heat, so hope the HOA can address this as well. This particular condo was the least nice unit we've stayed in. As mentioned by others, the furniture is literally shredded and falling apart. The wifi did not work. The oven was dirty and smoked out the condo when preheated. The carpet was frayed and dirty looking. So, definitely not up to the standards other condos at Lone Eagle have set, but it was well priced for the accommodations and location.

Lone Eagle 3015
Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was spacious for a family of 4. The location was good for adults to ski in/out but not as convenient for ski school. IThe only condo elevator was broken our entire stay which made getting luggage up and down difficult. The outdoor fire pit was also broken. The bed in the master was very hard and uncomfortable. Our kitchen sink backed up the first night. By the next morning, water was leaking from below the dishwasher/sink onto the kitchen floor. I called maintenance that afternoon and they came fairly quickly. Unfortunately he spent 2 hours in our kitchen, which was right next to the living room, while we were trying to relax as a family, yet was unable to fix the problem. He said someone would be back the next morning, yet they never came. We were unable to run the dishwasher or use our kitchen sink past the first night. This lead to a dirty and smelly kitchen/living room and a real inconvenience.

Lone Eagle 3015
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has the BEST location for true ski in/ski out. But keep in mind that this is an old condo complex. There is only one elevator for the entire building of probably 50 condos. And the last two years I have stayed there it has been broken! So be prepared to hike up a lot of stairs with your luggage and gear. You really want to book on the first or second floor. The furniture must have been original: all was worn, threadbare or broken. Reminded me of a college apartment. But you don’t need to worry about any damage - it is already there. Cleaning was minimal, but I always bring my own supplies and only took a few minutes to ensure it was disinfected. Appliances are workable (had a cheap replacement microwave to use while the actual one was broken). But the beds were good although a bit sof for us. We came to ski, so really don’t care about these things, just keep your expectations low. The ski locker room is very good. Fire pit wasn’t working and based on overall cleanliness I stayed out of the hot tub. Parking garage is limited if you are there during peak weeks; especially for a large Yukon XL type SUV air truck. If you expect to use the ski school, this place would not be convenient.

Great location - but beds were awful
Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was outstanding. Property was clean and nice. Beautiful building. The one thing that stood out and which was completely at odds were the beds and pillows...cheap, cheap, cheap. For a property like that, put some beds and pillows in there that fit the property and the concomitant rent being charged. Also, the static in the sheets was awful - I understand we are at altitude, but use some Bounce or fabric softener when you dry the sheets. With the lights out, you could literally see these amazing blue sparks going off everywhere as you moved the sheets around. I'm not sure I've ever seen that. As for the management company, that's hard to rate - a person was not involved. They are now relying on technology to get you there and along with providing all the information about the property. It was a bit like a treasure hunt - you have to find a lock box with your keys. When you open up the lock box, there were about 30 envelopes in there with everyone else's keys - presumably these were all the other people staying there for the weekend. I guess this is the future, but if you're not familiar with Keystone, then I imagine you would be at a disadvantage. Anyhow, I'm digressing a bit. Overall, I expected more for the price level of this property.

Microwave broken. No king bed. Master shower tile in disrepair. Ceiling fans wobble and ceiling lights are located above the fan; so you get strobe lights. Elevator broken. Hot tub not hot.

Very disappointed
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my 4th stay at Lone Eagle and I will make sure I don’t get 3015 again!! The water pressure was terrible, oven door did not close all the way, dishwasher did not work and unit was dirty. There were crumbs on the floor by the window in kitchen but the vacuum roller was so full of hair and fuzz it wasn’t even on the vacuum so I could not clean. The 2nd bedroom was tiny and hardly room to walk. This should not be labeled to sleep more than 4. The only big skillet had stuff stuck to it and was bent. The spatula was melted on the end and could not be used. The owners of this unit need to restock cookware and fix the headboards. There was a gap between the mattress and headboards and your pillow falls through. It was the worst experience I have ever had here. For a two bedroom it was the smallest unit we have ever stayed in.

LoneEagle Review
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at LoneEagle last year & absolutely loved it. We were looking forward to our second year however, we left rather disappointed. The room was not up to “LoneEagle standards”, especially for the price we paid. The floors were not cleaned at all. I began cleaning the room when we first arrived. The vacuum cleaner didn’t work so that explained why it was left dirty but the kitchen floor was not mopped or even swept. We found shards of glass so left our slippers on the entire stay. The MA shower leaked so bad we had to use our extra towels to soak up the excess water daily. The door handle to the shower was broken as well. In addition, the hot tub was out of order when we arrived. The pool was too cold to swim in. By Wednesday evening, they said the hot tub was fixed. It was not “fixed”. It looked like someone poured bubble bath in it which means it’s full of bacteria. It may seem like we are being “picky” but for the price we paid & the experience we expected, this was not worth it. We will not return next year. The summit employees we spoke to were very friendly & we understand it is out of their control. We have visited Keystone for our annual family trip for the past decade however, we will look into a different mountain next year.
