The location for the house couldn’t have been any more perfect! It allowed our extended family to all be together, and have some good hangout storytelling time!

Lake Hollingsworth Home
Our stay was fine. Home was fine too other than the pictures and description being far different than we thought. Description stated it sleeps 16? But 1 1/2 bathrooms. Only 3 of us staying so our 4 friends didn’t stay with us. NOT a luxury property at all. Home is on a very busy street not sitting back as pictured. Home could use a good deep cleaning and rugs replaced. But all in all we enjoyed our stay.
The luxury diamond delete property was beautiful and clean on the inside. The pictures on the listing are very accurate as far as the interior. Unfortunately, the outside had much to be desired. The back porch was unkept, which was a bummer because the weather was so beautiful, We would have enjoyed the back patio a little more. Other than that, the interior was very pretty, clean and comfortable.
Great place to stay plenty of room beautiful house
Very beautiful house plenty of space plenty of bed space there were only six of us and clearly could have been another 6 or 10 with no problem. Very clean updated and just a great quiet location.
The location was perfect for us. The house had everything you needed and it was clean. The only thing was it was hot down stairs. The owner was willing to have an AC person come but we were only staying for 2 nights.
We visit Family in Lakeland often and needed a last minute place to stay. Anthony was so helpful and accommodating. The property is beautiful and would be a great place to stay for a family event. Right by the college and the lake so walking around is easy. Lots of sidewalks. And the college is just gorgeous to walk around. We definitely would stay here again.
This was the perfect home for our trip as we had multiple family units that needed their own space. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The house was well stocked with items like dish soap, towels and toilet paper. We were, however, counting on a few items mentioned in the listing like an iron and hair dryer that weren’t actually in the house. We enjoyed the location being near the 3 mile paved trail around the lake for daily runs. Overall, the house exceeded our expectations.
We were in town for a dance competition and didn’t want to pay the hotel prices so we decided to find a house to rent. This house is very cute, clean, and nicely decorated. There was plenty of serveware. The pans need replacing as they were pretty worn with scratches on the nonstick surface. The only other negative was the seat to the toilet upstairs was too small for the toilet so it was not very comfortable to sit on.. This place sleeps 16 and has 2 full bathrooms. Despite these few things we would stay there again. The owner was very responsive and the host was nice, too.

Both good and bad....
Our stay, during a hurricane admittedly, was both good and bad. The "good" is that this is a nice location, the beds were very nice and very comfortable, the showers were decent, and the AC worked well. The "bad" is that there was no microwave and no grill, a very small tight kitchen that is dark and hard to work in, no powder room (just a bathroom hidden back by the downstairs bedroom), and--probably 99% responsible for my moderate overall 3 star review-- we had an unwanted guest,: a rat. There were noises in the walls of the downstairs bedroom as well (probably mice or rats). Keep in mind this was a hurricane. I have no idea if the rodents were simply driven in by the rain/wind, or if they were already guests. Anthony was responsive and offered a free additional night's stay at a different home, which was appreciated, but we decided to just get back to our own home. Overall, I think the place is OK and it has its nice factors (as mentioned), but it definitely could use a microwave, a grill, and a careful look by pest control. I suspect and trust that the owner is on this for future guests.
It is a great location, with a large lot. Quite noisy road, as people kind of race late at night. Loved being able to walk to Lake Hollingsworth. There were 5 adults, and two bathrooms. We didn't like that the only downstairs bathroom, was in the bedroom. This bath very small.this bedroom had a unit which was very noisy.
Many of the lights did not work, and some of them not working were becasue of a fuse problem. The ones in the stairway and all the lights in the Master. The maintanance people came over right away, and had to return the next day, to replace fuse becasue lights went out again on stairway and the master, which was dangerous to walk on dark brown stairs in the dark on. They had to replace about 10 lights that were burned out and still needed more new light bulls. We didn't want a third interuptions to get more bulbs. We changed the floor air filter, as it was black and filthy. I felt like the house with as many of lights burned out was a major inconvenience since we had our daughter sleeping having flown in from the West coast and workers there changing lights bulb and checking breakers. The kitchen was small but functional for breakfast. The Master was upstairs and shared the bath with two other bedrooms upstairs, and you had to walk thru one bedroom to get to the smaller bedroom, which would be awkward, if people weren't family. For us, it was not a problem, as we didn't need the 4th bedroom.
We visited for a conference and we so pleased to be so close to Florida Southern. The house was beautiful and well-maintained. There was plenty of space for us to relax and unwind after sessions. The hosts were responsive and welcoming.
We had a great stay in this Lake Hollingsworth home. Anthony was a fantastic host. This was a great property for us. We were centrally located, and yet in a very quiet part of Lakeland. The large rooms and big yard were great for all of us to hang out. We will definitely check availability of this home on future trips to Lakeland.
Four moms and their daughters came to Lakeland for a girls week-end and this property was perfect for our trip. It was in a great location -- convenient to everything we wanted to do -- was well stocked, had great bathrooms, the beds were super comfortable, and the common areas were roomy. Everyone enjoyed the house and we would love to stay there agin.
