Great Family Condo

We love Destin West. We have been coming here for 15 years, and our teens still love it. This condo fits a family of 4 well. Owners were very responsive. Everything went smoothly!

A Relaxing, Comfortable Stay

We had the most amazing summer kick-off at this Destin West condo. Everything, from booking to departure, was so organized and professional. We absolutely loved our stay at the SandPiper! The only negative thing I would say is we had a difficult time finding the beach access, but once we did it was easy! Was such a nice time and convenient to everywhere!

3 day getaway

Very well maintained spacious clean condo with great attention to details. It had everything we needed for our stay. Lazy river though not heated off season, was a blast. When we decide to come visit Destin again, this will definitely be on the list of nice places to consider. Boardwalk and restaurants within walking distance is a big plus. Thank you.

Great location, within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and attractions. Al’s has nightly activities. Beach access with chair service included, about 10 minute walk from condo. Lots of pool/hot tub options on site available and lazy river the kids loved. Easy check in with email instructions for everything you would want/need.

Nice, clean condo

Condo was clean and had everything we needed! Easy walk over to the ocean and included beach service was a plus! Owner messaged us to make sure we got in okay and to see if we needed anything. We will miss our morning coffee on the patio overlooking the bay and the lazy river!

Tropical, Aquatic, tranquility.

We enjoyed this property, it was in great condition, equipped with full kitchen, nicely decorated, and had a very comfortable bed, excellent view overlooking the property's crown jewel, The Lazy River! Fun for all ages, and the view from the balcony across the bay is Great also. All the pools are well designed and in fine shape, the beach service was Excellent and We personally enjoyed the Daily included beach chair rental.

Perfect Vacation!!

We love Destin West Bayside condos and this particular unit is updated and very clean. The bay view is beautiful from S507. My adult kids still love the lazy river. The beach is an easy walk from the bayside using the skybridge. The property owner was great. He sent very detailed emails and sent texts making sure everything was ok. It was a wonderful family vacation!!

Excellent vacation!

My family of five traveled to Ft. Walton Beach. First time ever vacationing in Florida, so we were inexperienced to say the least. The condo owner was extremely helpful with all his information prior to and during the trip. He gave us plenty of information for checking in, activities to do in the area, beach information, condo info, etc. He was available via text and phone throughout the trip as well if we had any questions. I highly recommend this area and working with this property owner. My family will definitely be back!!!

Cute quiet condo

Condo was clean for the most part and very cozy. Owners were very communicative and friendly. He had a stopped up disposal fixed pretty quickly. Chairs at beach were so helpful. Ice Maker didn’t work but that wasn’t a huge deal. Everything was there as advertised. The HOA at Destin West are extremely overbearing and not friendly. They have absolutely ridiculous rules and enforce them strictly. However we loved our condo and the owners were great. Would love to get another one of their spots in the future.

Beautiful Condo

This condo was beautiful, open, clean, and updated. It sit on the 5th floor overlooking the pool into the bay. The beds were clean and comfortable. If I had a choice, I would sleep on the bunk. Unfortunately with 2 toddlers, I needed the space so the king it is. The kitchen was well stock with cooking utensil, including a Keurig/coffee pot combo. The place was easy to get in and out and everything around was close by. We did not go into the lazy pool since the weather was a bit chilly but the middle pool was nice and heated. My toddlers really enjoyed it and did not want to leave. My husband really likes the option of being able to use the marina anytime he wanted to do a little fishing. Overall, I really enjoy this place and will definitely book it again.

Very nice, but…..

The condo is very nice and clean. However, being on the bay side is definitely more of an issue than we thought it would be. It it much longer than the “6 minutes” it states when you account for the incredibly slow elevators. In addition, the state of the art Wi-Fi is totally laughable. The Wi-Fi works well in the living room, but that’s it. It doesn’t even work in the bedroom because the signal is so weak. Lastly, the wristbands. Every resort we’ve been to over the years has these wristbands. They’re free, and have been a great marketing piece because a lot of time people continue to wear them even after they get back from their vacation. Well, this place tries to make you pay for wristbands. There were four wristbands when we showed up, and there was four when we left. However, it definitely makes you have to be constantly on your family on what they’ve done with their wristbands. We’re talking about pieces of silicone that cost about .20 cents a piece. Anyhow, very nice unit, but beware of the things I’ve mentioned.

We have stayed multiple times at Destin West Beach and Bay. This was our favorite 1 bed with bunk room experience for sure. Room was clean and had a few start up accessories to get us by until we could get to the store. The mattresses were top notch even the sleeper sofa was comfy. Linens were soft. Only suggestion would be to have more towels. We could tell extra measures were taken to provide increased health protection. As a nurse this was appreciated. Communication was on point. We really enjoyed this rental and already looking to book again.
