Kawama is a 24-acre complex surrounded by three sides by John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, known for some of the best Scuba diving and snorkeling in all the keys.
The property amenities include:
Saltwater lagoon with tropical fish and a small sandy beach.

Guest can fish, kayak, or snorkel the Ocean via our rock jetty.

2nd Floor - Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room with couches - (children can sleep on the couches), Full Bathroom with Shower, Patio off the kitchen and screened in patio off the Living Room.
3rd Floor - 2 Bedrooms with Queen Beds and Patios and Full Bathroom with Tub/Shower Combination.

Salt water swimming lagoon with a platform in the middle, filled with local south Florida Tropical Fish. You are allowed to snorkel, paddle-board, swim, kayak or just enjoy the sandy beach at the end of the lagoon. Good for first time snorkelers and children. Very safe and clean.

BEACHES IN THE KEYS - Please know that the Keys are not known for their sandy beaches; however, we have a "sandy beach area" with direct ocean access for kayak or stand up paddle boarding.
2 cars are welcomed per stay with free parking.
NOTE #1: Beaches in the Keys – The only natural beach in the Florida Keys is at Bahia Honda State Park. The rest of the beaches are manmade. The Keys are built on Natural Coral Rock unlike the rest of the state of Florida that have natural sandy beaches. The Keys are not for Avid Beach Goers. They are for people who love to be “IN” or “ON” the "OCEAN".
KEY LARGO, TAVERNIER AND ISLAMORADA is known for “IN” or “ON” the "OCEAN" - Water Sports and Activities. We are the “DIVE AND FISHING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD"!
