Lone Star House - Beautiful West Texas Charmer - 3 bedrooms; 4 beds; 2 bathrooms

This beautiful home with it's "Texas Friendly" theme welcomes guests from anywhere. The Lone Star House is located in the heart of San Angelo, Tx. and close to downtown, the Concho Riverwalk, the Water Lily Gardens, ASU University, shops, restaurants, and city parks. You don’t want to miss this incredible stay!

The Lonestar House has three large bedrooms: the master suite - one king-size bed; 2nd bedroom - one queen-size bed; and the 3rd bedroom - two full-size beds. It also has two full -size bathrooms. One bathroom is adjacent to the master bedroom. All bedrooms have TV's with Roku internet service installed.

There is high-speed WIFI available throughout the house. The house sits on a large double-sized corner lot with plenty of distance to neighbors' houses. There is a large fenced backyard.

No smoking is allowed inside the house, however there is a nice patio area with a BBQ grill, two benches and beer cooler where smoking is allowed.

Great Little House

Overall, no complaints about the house. It was an older house so the floors and doors squeaked so if you have young kids, just be aware of this. It wasn't an issue for us. The neighborhood was nice. We were there to visit my son at Goodfellow AFB. It didn't seem far from anywhere we wanted to go.

Great Place

We spent 3 days in San Angelo to see friends from high school (Central, 1967) and college (UT). The house was great! We found it to be clean, well equipped, and extremely organized. We loved everything in the kitchen labeled so we did not have to go searching for plates, glasses, silverware, etc. We would definitely like to stay there when we are back in San Angelo.

This little jewel was perfect and highly recommended.

Over all house was very comfortable. The one thing that needs an upgrade are the towels Small, thin, and not enough for number of guests the house accomadates. We certainly ejoyed our stay.

Second Time!

This is our second time at this location. It is well maintained and has all of the amenities that are needed for a week long stay. Highly recommend this super cute and conveniently located house! Melissa is great to communicate with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We plan to be back for sure!

Over all very pleased. However the TV situation was disappointing. The tv I the master bedroom had no connection. Also having to subscribe to watch something was very annoying. For me it would have been great to DIRECTV and watch whatever was available.

Great Stay

Such a cute house! We loved everything about this house. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. games for the family to play, plenty of tvs which was great for down time. We enjoyed staying here and wanted to extend our stay! Very easy to communicate with the owners!

Very lovely house. It’s an older type of home but very nice decorated and up to date appliances. Central heat and air. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had lots of appliances. The communication with the owner very prompt and satisfactory.

Return Visit

Our second stay at the Lone Star House in San Angelo proved just as enjoyable as the Spring visit. The well stocked kitchen supplies great stuff for cooking meals at home from scratch. Everything is labeled well for finding things which helps! Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and blankets make for a nice night's sleep. We love the TV options. The Lone Star house feels like home away from home to me. I'll be back next time in SA when I stay for more than a single night.

This house was my dear grandmother's home and my husband and I spent a great deal of time, pride, care restoring this beautiful home after her passing. We are both looking forward to you enjoying your stay at this wonderful house.

Why they chose this property

The Lone Star House has a special "Texas-style theme" interior and is one of the best short-term rental homes in all of San Angelo. It is conveniently located to all of San Angelo’s main business areas, tourist sites, ASU University and the Good Follow military base.

Easy access to San Angelo's main commercial road (Sherwood Way) so getting anywhere is very fast and easy. There is a Walmart Neighborhood Grocery Store just a few blocks away. The house is located San Angelo's premier established neighborhood - Santa Rita - with beautiful well-maintained homes and and tree-lined streets. This property has five large Texas pecans trees with all the pecans you can collect and keep if desires
