Charming Uptown Bungalow by RPG

Summary:
Conveniently located just north of Downtown St. Augustine and within walking distance to almost everything, The Old Mission Cottage is a perfect home-base for your visit to the Oldest City. Our home has been carefully curated with vintage and mid-century art and furniture as well as pieces by local artists like Jenna Alexander, whose studio is across the street. We encourage you to check out our guidebook for more tips on shopping local and supporting our friends!

The Space:
As you approach the house, you will see a quintessential Florida front porch with plenty of seating. Spend the morning catching up with coffee or cozy up with a book during an afternoon rain shower. Step inside the cottage and you'll find a spacious living room with a sofa (sleeps 1) and 65 inch smart TV. Bring your log ins and enjoy all of your favorite shows. We provide Netflix.

Across from the family room is the first queen bedroom with an adjoining door to the newly remodeled laundry and bathroom. Continue down the hall from the family room and you'll find the other access to the laundry and bathroom along with a more polished sitting area, perfect for the pre-dinner cocktail or appetizer before hitting the town.

Continue straight ahead and you'll see the second queen bedroom, the kitchen on the left which leads out to the cozy back patio and the dining room on the right.

The space is perfect for a family of 4 or 5, with two queen beds and a sofa that would be ideal for a child or teen. We do provide a pack n play for your convenience. Please plan to bring your own sheets and blankets if you plan to use the pack n play.

Guest Access:
Guests will have 24/7 access with keyless entry. The code will be sent the day of check in as soon as the house is ready.

Getting Around:
Walk or drive downtown. 5-7 minute drive to St. Augustine Beach.

Other Things to Note:
We allow pets with prior approval. Pet fees apply. Unauthorized pets will incur additional fees.
Pet Policy: For the safety and comfort of your pets please do not leave your pets unattended inside the property at any time.
Credit card fees are non-refundable.
📌NOTE: If your stay is 21 days or longer, $100 will be added to your cleaning fee to accommodate a deep cleaning. We will coordinate payment upon booking!

Great place!

Perfect for our family of 4 and a short walk to downtown attractions. Responsive and comfortable. Loved waking up and sipping coffee on the patio. Quiet area within the perfect short walk to all the attractions. Definitely would book again. Thank you.

Gem near the historic district

We had a wonderful stay here, pretty, quiet, and a short walk to all the sites and restaurants. The side deck for morning coffee was a lovely bonus.

Sweet Cottage

This cottage was perfect for our needs. Spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy. Nice front porch to relax on. Just wish it wasn’t facing a hotel.We spent several days exploring St. Augustine and this home was super close to the historic district which was where we spent our time.

Old Mission Ave

The property was clean and decor adorable. We could walk to many locations, including the historic district, with ease. The entry keypad was a little challenging for us initially as one of the numbers wasn’t as sensitive so it took us some time to make it work. Other than that- great stay and would definitely book again!

Clean Home w/ Great Location

Home was great for our long weekend stay. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the porch was nice in the mornings. Even though it was right on the road across from a hotel it was fairly quiet. The washer and dryer were new, and the dryer had a steam fresh option that came in handy for our dresses for the wedding after being packed up! The only thing I would mention is even though they are dog friendly and have a fenced in yard, the yard is VERY small as the backyard is mostly the deck (which is lovely) and instead of a gate there is a door that has a good size gap under it. So, if you have a small dog be cautious that area may need to be blocked off somehow.

Wonderful little house. Great location, walking distance to historic area. Host was very responsive. House had everything we needed. Although our stay was cut short due to Hurricane Helene, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday. It is so close to all the wonderful sights in the downtown area. It is very spacious and clean and has all the things you need for your stay.

Girl’s weekend

We had amazing time at this location. Five of us had plenty of room. We did bring an air mattress that one person slept on. It was about a 10 minute walk to the historic downtown. The check in process was easy and clear, the house was spotless and the host was responsive to all of my questions before arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

Winter Escape

This property was cute, cozy and eclectic- a great location. There was a little issue with a smoke detector and the owner was there quickly ro correct. Old Town was within a short (about a mile) walk. Would rent again while visiting St. Augustine.

Great experience!

We were in town for a wedding and this location was perfect for our stay. The house was beautifully restored and was close enough to the town where walking was easy. They hosts were also very communicative and made sure we had the best stay possible.

Cute, nicely equipped cottage.

Our first time in St Augustine, we enjoyed our stay in this comfortable house. It’s within walking distance to the historic district and there are some nice restaurants nearby. The house was very clean upon arrival and the off street parking was very much appreciated.

Everything we needed

Our stay was very pleasant. The property was both cozy and quirky, with all the charms of a newly restored bungalow. It offers a cute outdoor area and a wonderful dining area just off the efficiency kitchen. There was just the four of us but could well have managed six with an air mattress in the sitting room.
