Lovely historic home from a long known family in the area. Beautiful sun rises and sun sets are an everyday occurrence and you can still see for miles? Relax under 100 year old pecan trees or rock the night away on our wraparound front porch. We are family owned and operated from the homes on the property to the animal and crops we still raise today. Come and see what life was like when the city hadn't grown and times were simpler

Weekend Getaway

We absolutely loved how close it was, yet away from everything at the same time. We had 3 family stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. I really enjoy the new arrangement of furniture compared to the photos.

Great Stay

This was a really great property, I enjoyed the place and we had a great time. Thank you for opening up your historic home for our exciting day (engagement party). I would recommend for anyone who is celebrating things in NB or Gruene!

Beautiful home!

We needed a place for a close family friend’s wedding. This spacious and historical home was perfect for our family and 2 little grandchildren for an extended weekend. Peaceful front porch with rocking chairs was a favorite with little ones. Owners are very welcoming and helpful.

Nice Farmhouse

Charming historic farmhouse. Fully stocked kitchen. Nice patio to watch sunset. Antique slipper tub for relaxing bath. Beautifully decorated home.

Great experience for the entire family!

This nostalgic farmhouse is perfect for a family gathering. We hosted friends and family for a come-and-go Celebration of Life in remembrance of my sister. Three of us stayed overnight, and there was plenty of room for other family members to sleep over. The kids enjoyed running and playing outside, and we loved the huge wrap-around porch. The home was fully furnished with dishes, linens, and extra bedding, and the house was beautiful inside. Located on a working farm, the atmosphere was peaceful and wholesome. The owner was responsive and accommodating. We were delighted with our stay!

So charming

We had quite a crew that made the trip down for my son’s graduation from Texas State. It was a fun filled weekend with graduation and two river trips. Everyone who walked in fell in love with the farmhouse charm. There were so many quaint touches that added to the over all feel of being thrown back in time. Elton was very easy to work with and responded quickly. We would definitely book this location again.

Can’t wait to stay here again

Like taking a step back in time. Incredible property, just minutes from New Braunfels/Greune. Definitely older, but we loved it. Only would have wished the owner would have been more responsive at times, and provided check out instructions, but it didn’t get in the way of checking in or enjoying our time there

Country getaway 20 mins to New Braunfels

I stayed at this property with 9 guys for a weekend float trip on the New Braunfels river. The property is beautiful with 9 beds so it was perfect for our group. We grilled, played bocci ball in the massive yard and tossed around the football. The property is amazing and perfect for a quiet country getaway and still close enough to New Braunfels and San Marcos to venture out. Cheers, John

Nice place to stay

There was no place to put the baby so I would recommend a pack and play or a collapsible crib. Although people don’t go on vacation to watch tv it still us a good way to help people relax and chill. There should have been a tv in the main living room as well as a back bedroom. Our stay was very enjoyable but those things above would have made a world of difference
