The house is very simple and cozy. I only had one issue. There were a red wasp inside the house me and my cousin went there to go hike and just hang out and it was fun.
My friend and I traveled to the upper Buffalo River area to hike and recharge. The B&B cabin was just what we needed; a peaceful place to clean up and rest. We wish we would have known just how little access we would have to internet. It was very hard to come by. In hindsight, a detailed itinerary with driving directions would have been handy since we couldn't use Google. Also, we kept thinking we'd come upon a gas station and a place to buy water. We found those services the 2nd day in Jasper with my friend in mortal terror of dehydrating. Otherwise, it was a perfectly wonderful night away.

Three Stars
Space was clean and cabin was easy to find with instructions from hosts. There is no WiFi or cell service, which I didn’t know beforehand and was a little nerve wracking since I was staying by myself. Would have appreciated some wash rags for the kitchen and wash cloths in the bathroom as well. Basic kitchen utensils were stocked.
This cabin was absolutely perfect for my last minute trip to Ponca and surrounding area for hiking. The hosts were extremely gracious and accommodating, considering that I requested to book in less than 24 hours. The location was pretty much central to all the places I hoped to see: Steel Creek, Hawksbill Crag, the elk,, etc. Being able to every single star in the sky right from the cabin was an absolute pleasure. Thank you for my stay!
I came for the Bortle 2 Dark Skies, and was not disappointed. My primary purpose was to get some good photos of the Milky Way. Host Brittany was so helpful, flexible, and gracious in supporting my purpose. I got the shots I wanted! Short stay, but the small cabin was perfect. Description of the cabin and photo were accurate. I think the only thing possibly missing was paper towels, so good idea to bring your own. Comfortable, quiet, and close to Boxley Valley and Buffalo River and all it has to offer.
What beautiful country! This place was in a great central location for the natural activities in the area. The cozy cabin fit right in with our nature-influenced vacation. The canine welcome team was wonderful. We really enjoy our stay here. Thank you!
The house was very cute and was just right for the two of us. We had everything we needed for overnight and we really enjoyed the DVR and movies. The only thing I would say negative was the smell outside was almost unbearable. I don't know if it was the wind direction that day or no wind but it was pretty awlful. We did enjoy seeing the beautiful Australian shepherd on our porch greeting us the next morning. Overall good stay 😊
It was a quick trip for a photography workshop, so this worked well since it was just me. It was the perfect size. The dogs who greeted me were sweet, and the location good for needing to be in the general Boxley valley, Ponca, Jasper, Hawk’s Bill Crag area. It was on the west side of the river which was great for coming and going to Fayetteville. If you stay, being extra washcloths since there was only one, and paper towels. Check in and check out were easy. I never saw another person. I came and went after dark mostly, and felt perfectly safe. Very clean!
This cabin was adorable with everything one needs for a weekend in Ponca and exploring the Upper Buffalo. It was easy to find, the beds were comfortable and the space was so unique! Not to mention a perfect sunset view!!!!

The property was in an area that was beautiful and so peaceful yet close enough to the hiking we came to do. We will stay here again.
Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights in this cute cabin. Beds were very comfortable. We slept great! Not far to Ponca for canoeing opportunities on the Buffalo River. Only downside was no wi-fi and spotty AT&T coverage, but for a night or two, it was not that big a deal.
From booking to checkout this has been THE BEST experience!! I adore the hosts and the cutest cabin in the area. I can not express enough how happy our whole group was with this experience. Fire wood stocked, dry too! Comfy beds with cozy flannel sheets (my fav)! This host truly thought of everything when preparing this VRBO. Campfire chairs, charcoal, grill, everything! So pleased! WILL BE BACK!
We loved our stay here. It was perfect for our group of four. The location was just a short drive from Ponca. Brittany was a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. Would defintely recommend and we hope to stay again in the future.
