This is 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living area with a sleeper sofa. The bedroom has a King size bed. The condo is fully stocked with linens, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and all kitchen utilities and appliances. The condo is located on the 2nd floor and there are elevators. The spectacular views from the 2nd floor patio are a perfect accompaniment for your morning coffee or tea. End you day with a glass of wine while you gaze into the sun setting over the Pacific!

This condo is located at the Pono Kai Resort in the historic town of Kapa'a, Kauai. Kapa'a has a small town feel and the resort is within walking distance of restaurants, boutiques, shopping and grocery stores. And if you’re there on the first Saturday of the month, Kapa'a features live music, local crafts and food. You can rent bicycles right next door to the Pono Kai and located within 5 minutes from all water activities; canoeing, kayaking, surfing, etc...

The Pono Kai Resort has many amenities and activities on site. Tennis, basketball, exercise room, shuffle board, horse shoes, mini golf, croquet court, board games, just to name a few.
There are also BBQ's located throughout the resort and laundry facilities located within each building.

The Pono Kai is a great resort where you can truly relax and enjoy all that the Garden island of Kauai has to offer. Come enjoy your stay with us!

Explore the nearby beaches like Hanalei Bay and Poipu Beach, and also walk, run or bike on the Ke Ala Tele Makalae trail, which that starts right at the back our our resort and runs along the pacific. **THE TRAIL WAS JUST ENTERED INTO THE HALL OF FAME BY THE RAILS TO TRAILS CONSERVANCY**

Island Escape
2nd visit to this resort. Grounds are well kept, great location rather middle of island and this condo has a really nice view. The condo has been remodeled but has a moldy/old smoke smell. Housekeeping could spend a bit more time on floors and counters: I cleaned both upon arrival. Nothing horrid just not cleaned well. View and location being what they are, I’d stay again.

The view of the water was nice — if you could see it. Very dirty windows. Realizing that ocean properties are hard to keep with sparkling windows, but a little effort would have been helpful. Outdoor furniture should be replaced. Very dirty. Adequately equipped kitchen. WiFi outage caused us to have to use another’s WiFi service & housekeeping couldn’t help. Some housekeeping for a 5-day stay should be provided, even if just towel service.

Anniversary trip
With the pandemic behind us, we finally were able to book our anniversary trip! Upon arriving to Pono Kai, we were greeted warmly by the front desk. Check in was easy. Had problems with our keys on several occasions. Front desk took care of it. Had a memorable time! Thank you to all!
