Our little gem in Cannobio offers you everything you need for a successful holiday:
Close to the city, calm and breathtaking panorama.
The charming villa, which is over a hundred years old, has been completely renovated over the years and exudes a cheerful and cozy flair.
Spacious rooms with high ceilings, some with stucco, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable seating in the salon, several terraces and balconies, all with open lake views, mountain views and views over Cannobio. Spacious garden with palm trees and flowering shrubs and shrubs as well as some art objects. The pool offers a refreshment in summer. It is not heated and is available in the 2019 season from mid-April to mid-October. In the summer months, the pool has sun all day, as do the sun terraces and balconies. Since the house is oriented to the northeast, the sun is saying goodbye more and more from autumn, so there is still about 2 hours of sun in October, for example. In spring and autumn, use the fireplace in the living room with the free firewood that can also supply the upper rooms with cozy warmth.
The entrance to the house is quite steep, the entrance to the property is quite narrow for wide cars.
There are parking spaces for around 3 cars on the property.
There is an outdoor fireplace in the covered coach house on the terrace, so you don't have to do without eating on cooler evenings. You will also find sufficient garden furniture and loungers including cushions in the coach house and the roof terrace.
The house is very spacious and spacious with its diverse terraces and balconies and invites you to linger.
4 bedrooms, two of which can be reached via the spiral staircase in the main wing, offer space for 8 people. Upstairs there are two bathrooms, the lower separate unit has two smaller bedrooms with French beds and a small bathroom that was renovated last year.

And all of this just a 5-minute walk from Cannobio's attractive waterfront.

Traumhafte Location mit fantastischem Ausblick
Wir waren mit drei Paaren und Hund eine Woche in der traumhaft gelegenen Villa am Lago Maggiore. Von allen Räumen der sehr gut eingerichteten Villa hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf den See. Die Terrassen sind traumhaft, das gesamte Grundstück sehr schön angelegt. Die Auffahrt und auch der Anstieg zu Fuß sind eine Herausforderung, aber es lohnt sich!! Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und den tollen Grill haben wir oft genutzt. Neben dem fantastischen Ausblick und der tollen Dachterrasse (super für Yoga), hat uns sehr gut gefallen, dass man den herrlichen Ort Cannobio mit Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Auch für Urlaub mit Hund sehr gut, da das Grundstück eingezäunt ist und "Oskar" sich frei bewegen konnte. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche, die Villa kann man nur weiterempfehlen.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus mit einem herrlichen Garten auf mehreren Ebenen. Das Haus versprüht den Scharm einer alten Villa. Es ist renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir waren über Pfingsten dort und haben bis auf Schnee alle Wetterlagen erlebt. Wir waren den Eigentümern sehr dankbar, dass sie die Heizung eingeschaltet hatten. Der Aufenthalt im Haus war für unseren Urlaub wichtig, wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt. hervorzuheben ist die gute Ausstattung der Küche, die Ausblicke von den Terrassen und vom Garten vermitteln Postkarten Panorama. Uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Noch besser als erwartet
Die Aussicht mit Seeblick von praktisch allen Zimmern ist phänomenal. Der Wohnbereich ist grosszügiger als anhand der Fotos vermutet. Die Lage, fussläufig in 10-15 min zur Promenade mit zahlreichen Restaurants, Bootsverleih und Badestelle am See: ideal. Sogar unsere Einkäufe haben wir teilweise zu Fuss erledigt. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und Wanderungen ab Haus waren wunderbar. Selbst am Regentag konnten wir auf der überdachten Loggia frische Luft und Seeblick geniessen.

Wir haben die Tage in diesem sehr gepflegten Anwesen genossen. Die nahe Lage zum Ort und wundervolle Ausblicke über den See sind hervorzuheben. Allerdings nicht optimal für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen.

schönes Haus in optimaler Umgebung
Wir sind mit drei Erwachsenen in der 1. Mai Woche in dem Haus gewesen. Das Wetter war schon sehr schön, so dass wir die Terrassen nutzen konnten. Es gibt mehrere Sitzmöglichkeiten mit ausreichend Gartenmöbeln. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön und gepflegt. Die Bäder im Haus sind neu und völlig in Ordnung, ich erwähne dies, weil es eine Bewertung gibt, in der der Zustand der Bäder bemängelt wird. Die Straße, an der das Objekt liegt, ist eng und steil. Mit einem 5er BMW Kombi mussten wir vorsichtig rangieren und Daumen drücken, dass einem keiner entgegen kommt. Man wird mit der Zeit aber geübter und die Einheimischen weichen auch aus. Der untere Teil des Hauses, in dem sich zwei weitere Schlafzimmer und ein Bad befinden, ist nur über die Außentreppe erreichbar. D.h. man muss das Haus verlassen, um in den anderen Teil zu kommen. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, es gibt nur ein paar neugierige Katzen. Von der Nachbarschaft hat man nichts gehört. Wir können das Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Hoher Wohlfühlfaktor mit grandioser Aussicht
Leider gingen die 12 Tage zu schnell vorbei und wir überlegen, nochmal wiederzukommen. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind ein Traum. Mit einem Kaffee und dem Blick auf den See in den Tag zu starten, ist Entspannung pur. Der Ort mit seinen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar (da kann man den Wagen mal stehen lassen) und für die Sehenswürdigkeiten des Sees stellt das Haus eine gute Ausgangsbasis dar. Das Haus selber ist hochwertig eingerichtet und insbesondere die Regendusche hätten wir gerne mit nach Hause genommen :).

Diese Villa am Lago Maggiore erfüllt voll und ganz die Beschreibungen in der Anzeige. Somit haben wir uns unheimlich wohl gefühlt und unseren Urlaub absolut genossen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war stets hilfreich und sehr freundlich.

Unsere Urlaubswoche im Mai 2022
Das Haus besteht aus zwei Wohnungen, wobei wir mit zwei Personen in der oberen wohnten. Die in diesem Wohnteil vorhandenen Bäder sind komplett neu renoviert, das verwendete Silikon war praktisch noch feucht. Begehbare Duschen, im größeren Bad zwei Waschbecken, alle eingebauten Komponenten neu – das übertraf alle unserer Erwartungen. Wir haben in der Woche mit zwei Personen lediglich das kleinere der beiden Bäder benutzt. Unser Schlafzimmer hat aus dem Bett heraus einen grandiosen Blick auf den Lago; fast zu schade, um nachts die Augen zuzumachen. Im Haus und in der Küche ist alles in gehobener Ausführung vorhanden. Einzig die Treppe zwischen Erd- und Obergeschoss ist als zu eng zu erwähnen. Hausarchitektur bedingt ist das jedoch nur schwer anders zu lösen. Das Wasser im Schwimmbad war jahreszeitverursacht frisch, wurde von uns dennoch beschwommen und betaucht. Die Abfallleerung ist für unsere Verhältnisse ungewöhnlich – außer sonntags ist an jedem Tag eine andere Abfallsorte an der Straße abholbereit bereitzustellen. Die Straße und Zufahrt zum Haus sind, wie wir von Italien gewohnt sind, eng und steil. Unser Auto blieb die ganze Woche am Haus stehen, die Promenade von Cannobio ist in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den täglichen Bedarf gibt es an der Promenade einen Supermarkt mit Preisen vergleichbar wie daheim. Der „Aufstieg“ zum Haus erfordert eine gewisse Fitness oder immer wieder kurze Pausen. Nach dem dritten Promenadenbesuch zu Fuß ging’s schon leichter. Insgesamt eine wundervolle Woche, die wir gerne wiederholen werden.

Magnificent Views & Terraces
We adored our stay in Cannobio. There was a multitude of Wonderful terraces over looking the town of Cannobio and Lake Maggiori. Even the rooftop terrace was a joy to experience at night as you look down on the twinkling lights around the Lake. The pool was perfect too. Communication and check in was easy. The walk into Cannobio each night for dinner was fun and quick even though the road was steep. The kitchen was well equipped for our stay. The only challenge was that we Could not bring our suitcases to the upstairs bedroom and bath due to the spiral staircase during our week long visit. We will miss our time in this magical home
