This Beach House is just a few steps away from the ever-popular locals and tourist's favorite spot; SCHOONERS! Also conveniently located within 2 to 5 miles of everything you need for your stay. Enjoy the sun from the large back deck that overlooks the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This house features large, open rooms with plenty of seating for family gatherings. The open floor plan and kitchen has an island with a breakfast bar, and there is an additional dining area for extra seating. The large master bedroom features a king bed and a twin bed, and the master bath has a tub and a separate walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds.

Rooney's Beach House is just off the famous Thomas Drive, the heartbeat of Panama City Beach. With tons of shops, restaurants, and nightlife nearby, there's always more fun to be had. Excellent beach location

Excellent beachfront location. Covered porch overlooking the ocean was amazing. We even got to see a doe and buck run along the beach and swim out into the ocean some 100 yards then head toward St. Andrews park.

Oceanfront Views

Despite restaurants nearby, all of our meals were on the deck of this home, with beautiful sunsets in the evening. We loved the sturdy dining table & chairs on the deck & the rocking chairs. We also appreciated the large living room/kitchen, with its wood floors, that faces the beach - so comfortable. Overall, a wonderful vacation at this beach home.

Very Dirty!!!!

Upon arriving at the house we were met with a very dirty house with mouse droppings on the counter and in the drawers. We spent the first night deep cleaning the entire house. The house next to us was under construction so we had loud noise all day. The furniture in the house is very outdated. The ONLY redeeming quality of the house is its location. Very short walk to the beach.

Nice place, dated and needed cleaned

House is in perfect location, right on the beach. Convenient to just walk right out and be at the water. Home was dated but was overall nice and renters were quick to respond when we had an unexpected water outage. One complaint is that the home was dirty. The couch was covered in hair when we arrived. We used nearly a whole lint roller to clean it enough to sit on. A few pillows on the bed was also covered in hair. Rugs and carpeted areas were also covered in hair. That made it difficult with a baby that crawls, no surface was clean enough to let her roam. I understand it’s pet friendly, but that’s no excuse not to clean between renters. Every single piece of furniture was extremely uncomfortable. We usually wouldn’t need to use it much, however the time we were there it rained quite a bit so we were forced to stay inside. For the cost of this place, they could afford some updated furniture and to have a decent cleaning crew come in. Overall a good stay, but the cleanliness and discomfort of furniture was an issue for everyone in the group.

The house needs some attention. My son got multiple insect bites in master bedroom, the king size mattress needs to be replaced you just roll to the middle when sleeping we have addressed this on previous visits.

We had an amazing stay. Beautiful place, amazing views and location. The home needs some TLC. Lots of minor improvements could be made, including a new mattress in the master bedroom. Not meant to be a negative as our stay was fabulous 😍. Thank you so much!!

Perfect Getaway

Everything about this trip was wonderful. My adult kids and I went for my birthday and it was perfect. I loved being right on the beach. The house was represented well in the VRBO description. It felt like our own oasis among the busyness of Panama City.

Wonderful place right on the beach

Loved the location! Enjoyed many sunsets on the deck and on the beach which is only a few steps away. House shows a little age but just adds to the charm. Many good restaurants nearby and Schooners is just 1 minute walk away which is perfect on arrival day when you're too tired to cook. Especially appreciate we can bring our cat who enjoyed the views too. We'll be back, thanks for sharing!!

Very beautiful view!! So much room! Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to cook! Very homey feel. A really good restaurant a couple of doors down. Sunsets amazing!!!

If I could give more stars for location I would! Maybe 100 easy steps from the back door to the ocean. The beach house is just as pictured. Had everything we needed except a grill so we brought our own. Communication was very quick and informative before and during our trip. Definitely would go back!

Amazing Beach House

Right on the beach! Ranch home is clean and spacious. Gorgeous views from the living area and covered deck. Plenty of towels, linens, pillows and bedding. Kitchen has plenty for family vacation; Keurig and coffee pot, air fryer, pressure cooker, toaster, microwave and plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Good water pressure and big enough water heater that no one had to take a cold shower. Beds could use an upgrade. There is a charcoal grill, upgraded patio furniture, a couple beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and a boogie board to use. Had an issue with the freezer sticking and we couldn't use it and the dryer quit but management was quick to address issues. AND RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Issues did not overshadow our vacation. Would definitely come back!
