My brother and I took our mom to WSS for the weekend for her 70th birthday. Jan, the host, was great! We soaked at the hot springs, had good food & drinks at Bar 47, and topped it all off staying at this perfectly appointed cabin. Outside of town but not far, and had a nice patio.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! These little cabins are in a great location and set up with everything you could need. I will be staying here again in the future!
We had a great experience and have already been talking about staying here again!

We stayed here for four nights, with my two children and husband. We came to visit for our friends wedding and it was the perfect place for a family to stay! Just outside of town, you get the real country feel out there! Everything was perfect, we can’t wait to come again.
This little cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway and so close to the hot springs. The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed and aloud pets so our dog could stay with us.
The cabin met all expectations. Very comfortable with all the needs to make our stay good. Scenery was great and a quiet atmosphere adorned the area. We felt very comfortable sleeping abd just enjoying our stay. Great value.
The cabin was superb! Very quaint, tidy and clean! Everything you could possibly need was there…toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, washer/dryer, holiday decorations, bottled water and doggie poop bags! The owners are very communicative. They invited us to check out at a later time due to icy road conditions. Top notch accommodations! I will definitely stay again.
Our cabin was very clean, well taken care of, and had everything we needed. We slept three adults and a kid comfortably. We enjoyed our stay. Jan is a great host.
Great stay with amazing views, New loved our time adventuring around White sulfur and enjoyed coming back to the fireplace and cozy cabin afterwards. Jan was a great host. Will be back!

As described. Great surroundings. Clean with all necessary amenities.
Amazing little house with everything we needed! The house was sparkling clean, comfortable bed (and the kids loved the bunk bed cots). There was no detail / info left out! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
A friend and I stayed on a Saturday night after skiing and explored downtown WSS with some good food and a soak at the hot springs. These cabins are newly built, very clean and cozy. Check-in and out was a breeze. The photos of the bunk cots do not do them justice, they are bigger than they appear and would be great for extra guests. We are planning another trip soon and hope they are available!

About the host
Hosted by Jan Funston
I was born and raised in Montana. I moved to White Sulphur Springs about 10 years ago determined to work less and enjoy life more. This property is my opportunity to spend less time in the office and more time outside.
Why they chose this property
I enjoy the peace and solitude of country living. This property has easy year-round access just minutes from town and stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Rental cabins seemed a perfect addition so others could experience the area and enjoy this beautiful setting as much as I do.
What makes this property unique
Shedhorn is far enough from town to have great views of the night sky. Enjoy unobstructed views of the sunrise over the Castle Mountains and sunsets over the Big Belt Mountains. Cattle and horses graze on nearby ranches. Deer, antelope, eagles, fox and songbirds are frequent visitors to the property. You never know what you will see passing through the acreage.
Horse and livestock board is also available on the property. Please message the owner for details.
