Location and house was very nice convenient location. Only issues was we had to carry back all our trash! We never found the location to take it!

Making Memories with Family

Great house on the Colorado river. The house accommodates for large groups and spacious. The property manager was great. We had a great time with the only negative mark being the cleanliness of the property. Sugar ants in kitchen in pantry so we had to keep food packed and ceiling fans have dust buildup throughout house.

Great place for the whole family. Our only issue was a bee hive easily disturbed near the exterior staircase and excessive ant infestation that required routine raid spraying

Family Reunion 2022

This property at 52 Ocean Rd, Matagorda Texas. And what you see on the listing is what you get. The property manager is prompt on returning your messages and we had no problem at this home. It was very spacious and right on the Colorado river. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped with the amenities. We enjoyed our stay and eventually stayed an extra day too. I would strongly recommend this property to my family and friends!

Family Vacation

Enjoyed our time at Matagorda as usual. House was better than expected. Some shade from the afternoon sun would have been nice. And the handrails on the outside stairs need improvement. Otherwise everything was great and the owner was very pleasant to work with. Would stay here again.

The property was dirty. Floors un-swept and dirty. Dirt, dead insects on the window sills, 2 of 3 bathrooms dirty. House instructions said to take trash to dumpster on Cemetery Rd.There is NO DUMPSTER on Cemetery Rd. and the dump wanted $7 per trash bag to take our trash! Saturday evening there were 2 people walking the premise, very rude! said Hello, and they turned their noses to air and did'nt respond???? Never again!

Family Getaway

We have stayed here before. Everything was great. My only concern was the TV. We could only watch if we were connected thru our phones, on our Apps. No cable??? Other than this, it was perfect.

This place is fantastic

My family are beach bums. We love anything beach related. This is the first time we stayed off the beach, but close enough to cruise down at will. It was perfect! All day we beached and all night we fished off the pier. The house itself is excellent. I just loved everything about it. Clean and modern. Just fantastic. The layout was perfect too. Two families could easily fit in with room for everyone. One word of advice: take a screenshot of the house before you head down. We followed the app and it took is to a different place that was run down. Since we knew the name, we just drove until we found it. Not the fault of the homeowner at all. Just a weird numbering system in matagorda. Bottom line is I will definitely be using this place again!! I just loved it. Thank you Margo for a great experience
