Second time to stay and it fits just right for us. Easy access and close to town. We always enjoy a soak at the hotsprings while there and there’s good food to be had.
My SO and I had a wonderful time staying 2 nights here. The full kitchen was especially nice to cook. The hotsprings in White Sulphur Springs are about a 5 minute drive away if that and we ate a Kelly and Bob’s Diner for breakfast which was right in town as well. We skied at Showdown Montana which wasn’t a bad drive at all and stopped into the Twin Sister’s Trading Co. where we got some local honey and goods. The cabin itself was tremendously clean and homey. Very warm with adjustable temps and a comfy bed. The Smart TVs are equipped with all the streaming apps you can sign into as well.
Nice and quiet can see all the stars. Great sunsets.

This is a primo-stay property. It's clean, comfortable, convenient, and secure. It has literally everything one could want for a vacation or temporary stay location. The view of a clear starry sky in the evening is just fantastic, and greeting the welcome sunrise with a hot cup of coffee is truly special. Check it out. You won't be sorry.
What a beautiful and modern property this was Jan was extremely helpful and we loved the property. We also loved going into town to enjoy the hot springs at the local motel.
Excellent communication from the host. Cabin amenities were all very thoughtfully done. Beautiful location to recharge, and relax. The cabin had a lovely porch area to take in the sunset, enjoy a meal, and relax. Cannot wait to visit again.

We loved the property for our launch on the Smith the next morning. The owner was lovely and we would stay there again.
Warm and welcoming, these cabins are small but beautifully appointed. We had everything we needed for a cozy stay for our child's 5th birthday! Out of virtually every window you will have sweeping views of mountains looming over the plains - a must see in the winter.
Perfect place for some much needed rest and relaxation! Cabin was clean and perfect size for my wife and I to unwind. Beautiful views in all directions, close to town for a quick bit to eat. Overall great experience. We will return again!
Really cute cabins just outside of White Sulphur Springs. Loved the views with mountains in the distance. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Cabin was clean and provided everything we needed.
Great place to stay. Highly recommended. Cabin was clean and host was very nice.

About the host
Hosted by Jan Funston
I was born and raised in Montana. I moved to White Sulphur Springs about 10 years ago determined to work less and enjoy life more. This property is my opportunity to spend less time in the office and more time outside.
Why they chose this property
I enjoy the peace and solitude of country living. This property has easy year-round access just minutes from town and stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Rental cabins seemed a perfect addition so others could experience the area and enjoy this beautiful setting as much as I do.
What makes this property unique
Shedhorn is far enough from town to have great views of the night sky. Enjoy unobstructed views of the sunrise over the Castle Mountains and sunsets over the Big Belt Mountains. Cattle and horses graze on nearby ranches. Deer, antelope, eagles, fox and songbirds are frequent visitors to the property. You never know what you will see passing through the acreage.
Horse and livestock board is also available on the property. Please message the owner for details.
